Europeans in general typically dress much better than Americans. While NYC is a seas of 7s for us men, on the flip side, the town is full of out of shape, beta males, working dead end jobs. Many of the people live pay check to pay check, even with 6 figure salaries. For women, the town is full of 6s.

What you are likely experiencing is the novelty of travel. Any guy that is different gets a boost as being different when traveling in different parts of the world. I get my biggest bump in Japan and South America, based solely on my appearance. It is much easier to get laid in South East Asia, as many forum members can attest to. That may not be your thing, but NYC is not the easiest place to get laid in the US. It is on the better end of the spectrum in the US (not even close to top 20 in the world).

- Average quality in daytime is MEH (Coming from a guy who hung in high end scene for years)

- Most guys can't pull with good logistics far less if POOR logistics. - In nightlife atleast 3x chicks were trying to inspire a 3some experience
- American chick approached me, some indian tourist dude was practically harassing me to bring them back to his apartment

IMO, slower paced cities are easier to navigate as I noticed as a social dude from NY between the pace & my community background it was like steroids in terms of how fast my social life was moving in prague.

It's hard taking average community dude advice when they're playing "take the crumbs" going for whatever decent girl will hookup and then concluding a whole theory about a city...I say this as my AVERAGE female friends generally got laid way more consistent than my more attractive friends. - NY will be far more enrichening with cool social circles , so much going one & quality is way better regardless your niche (search dogpound gym in NY)
- If your COLD APPROACH impression is non-creepy & aggressive you will have a MUCH EASIER time meeting people. (Try hard will die hard)
- ACTUALLY LIVE, stop playing video games and binge watching tv shows, go out even on so called dead nights as there is stuff going on if part of the right circles

Above NY will seem very easy as like anywhere most people are bored living mundane lives. Although I NEVER do dates it will be easy to experience. Issue is a lack of genuine cool dudes as opposed to BOLD cold approacher's who are annoying/pest-like.

If you can handle the fast pace of NY then you can replicate things ANYWHERE as NY has a very sterile "hustler" focus. Having grown up here it never occurred to me that this isn't how humans generally are, I can see how new comers might be intimidated BUT don't let the facade fool ya. Lots of scared, lonely and uptight people looking to escape.

P.S...There is so much shit to do in NY, as a city it has lots of potential BUT the costs if you have remote location lifestyle, your better off living elsewhere unless you have some long term plan of career/networking.

I have had it easier in NYC than anywhere else in the country, you just have no idea how great that city is until you move out of there and realize how much majority of the country sucks when it comes to game and social life after college. In my current city, have fun trying to get much of a social life going unless you are willing to act like a morally self-righteous Bible Thumper or knew one of the locals growing up.

One thing has intrigued me a bit about NYC though and that is the favorable gender ratios towards men. I found the women of NYC to be quite approachable and friendlier than women in most places in the country, no doubt this has to do with the gender ratio being favorable.

A few guys I know in places like San Francisco for example complain about how bad the local women are and the gender ratios too.

What is it about NYC that makes the gender ratios so favorable for men compared to other major cities?

I travel quite extensively though (about 3-4 months a year). New York is easier for me than Japan.

What is the easiest place in the US then? Curious if you're gonna say Vegas (it has not been as easy for me as NYC). The easiest for me was Bakersfield, CA - but small towns should always be pretty easy if they aren't used to foreigners (I killed because of my accent) - hence I didn't count it.

I can see why San Francisco is bad for cultural reasons but Chicago has been an excellent city for game in my experience, I'd say its been somewhat of a runner up for me after NY.

NYC is a very desirable destination for many college-aged American girls and many do wind up moving there, which is why you have so many transplants from other parts of the US. These are the girls who were willing to leave their hometowns and basically escape prior restrictions and prying eyes. Hence, this brings a lot of single domestic girls to the city. And then of course you also have to account for the many foreigners who work, visit, and live in the city which further adds to the single female population. Day Game Bang put it in a cruder manner than I did, but he's just as correct.

Contrast that to the city where I am now, Philadelphia, which is a mere 94 miles/151 meters to the southwest of NYC. It's a large city but doesn't have the same allure that NYC does, which limits the number of domestic and international transplants (and thus less girls who feel uninhibited). And even though the gender ratio favors men, it's a bit of an illusion since many of those females are in relationships and tight social circles are much more prevalent despite the size of the city. Philadelphia is a better representation of most US cities while NYC is an anomaly that favors the single guy who wants to have options.

I know right, quite the beauty to behold. Not only college-aged American girls though, it seemed like a different fresh out of college crowd in their 20s headed to NYC than to some of the other cities. Quite a few cities become regional hubs for the fresh out of college crowd that only wants to hang with their old bros and crew but I did not find that to be as true for NYC. A lot of these people are in a expansion mindset when it comes to meeting new people which is why my social life, even though I attribute a lot of it to roommates, was the best it had ever been when I was in NYC right after college.

As one of my friends told me when I moved there in my early 20s, NYC is like college except the girls are hotter and you have some money to play with (although if under six figures you better budget well!). Despite having going to a school that was ranked as a top 20 party school in the US, I'd have to say that NYC was way better in the sense that I ran across much hotter girls in certain parts of the city.

Agree with you on the social circle aspect and wanted to talk about it after Distant Light's post, I have heard what you describe about Phili apply to a few cities on the east coast. One of my friends I knew from NYC moved down to Atlanta and he says that even in the trendiest and most hip parts everyone who sticks to their social circles from high school and at the latest college, they never expand after that.

Still though, it just seems so unique to me, the gender ratio favorable to guys and how NYC may as well be the only city that can pull it off.

San Francisco has the reputation because it attracts IT/silicon valley people, not models or hot girls.

Would a 20-something hot girl go to New York/London or Chicago/Seattle/Toronto? International cities like NYC/London will allow her to be a true whore.

I can see why San Francisco is bad for cultural reasons but Chicago has been an excellent city for game in my experience, I'd say its been somewhat of a runner up for me after NY.

Cannot speak much to the cities in Europe but by your logic, wouldn't LA then have lopsided gender ratios that favor men?

Chicago is good for game but a tier below NYC and Miami. Its too all-American for my liking, but thats because its in the midwest.

I haven't been to LA in a very long time, but everything I heard is that its very white. Not really international. San Francisco is far more international than LA.

I have lived in nyc for two years. It’s interesting to see the replies here.


I find a high concentration of hot girls in both Manhattan(lower Manhattan, uws, also many tourists in midtown) and Brooklyn (Williamsburg, dumbo, Park Slope in particular).

I mostly do day game, mostly grocery stores, gyms, and when I finish work.

The ratios are much more favorable than Los Angeles and I have to ask out fewer girls to get dates and bangs than when I was in LA .

Tinder has been extremely frustrating as I get a decent amount of matches but half of them never respond to the initial message and a lot of them just have bad logistics (takes forever to get to Astoria even though I’m on ues). I’ve had 2 tinder dates , 1 bang in the past year and just cancelled my premium membership.

Coffee meets bagel was fantastic for a while when they had that video section but then dried up when they went back to their regular formula. Hinge is very good in nyc, I just added the app and have some dates lined up for when I am back in nyc.

I just found out there is a Ukrainian village in lower Manhattan, do any of you day game there? That seems to be where a lot of Ukraine girls land when they move to nyc

It’s definitely cuffing season, I hope you guys found a hot fuckbuddy for the winter, I can’t be arsed to day game in 20-30 degree weather and will likely not day game until March or April.

I will say this, Trader Joe’s is awful for day gaming in nyc because it’s just too damn crowded. Whole Foods, key foods, Brooklyn farms and fairway are all much better if I just want to grab a loaf of bread and try to game any girls that may be there.

Do I think the girls in nyc are sluttier than your average American hoe? Eh not really but women here are up are up against tougher ratios and may be more open to getting approached.

I haven’t seen many guys talking about Brooklyn and it has changed a ton a lot the past couple of years and a lot of hot girls are flocking to the nicer parts of Brooklyn, though the housing costs can be almost as much as Manhattan

In the US, Census data answers all these questions. It's not just gender, but the distribution of gender by age. Some places have a lot of old ladies (unless that is your thing ;P ). No guessing required. Here is an example (I don't have the time to check the validity).

- Cashier girl was eye balling me, had I been single 100% woulda talked to her
- Neighbor in building where had airbnb was tall attractive and started chatting me
- In nightlife atleast 3x chicks were trying to inspire a 3some experience
- American chick approached me, some indian tourist dude was practically harassing me to bring them back to his apartment

IMO, slower paced cities are easier to navigate as I noticed as a social dude from NY between the pace & my community background it was like steroids in terms of how fast my social life was moving in prague.

It's hard taking average community dude advice when they're playing "take the crumbs" going for whatever decent girl will hookup and then concluding a whole theory about a city...I say this as my AVERAGE female friends generally got laid way more consistent than my more attractive friends. I even recall a girl I met at a bar mentioning how much tinder has showed her that MEN LIKE HER ALOT.

Whereas my ex, I don't even think she used tinder & when she reactivated her online dating acct less than 15secs messages non-stop. Let's be real if a dude seen a hot girl in the daytime more time than not they aren't gonna talk or act retarded in comparison to when they meet an average woman who doesn't intimidate them.

There was a time period when all the hot chicks I'd see in the daytime I already knew...These chicks weren't getting down like the average women...Not because they didn't get no play just mere fact average women were more open and men less intimidated. (I had female friends who went months and years, even masturbating before going out just to chill)

The one big thing that makes me widely skeptical is the fact people always JUDGE a city as 1 collective whole as if you aren't interacting with individuals & it is in relation to YOU.

Hence, alot of disinformation occurs when someone who is literally begging for sex "which ever one is giving it up and pass the boner test"

Starts saying x-city is easy & slutty while y-city is tough, as if no one in that city is getting laid. Then a copout of gender based excuses and how x-city is a waste of time.

Heck, people still talking about horrible tinder...Unless you spending money on a boosted acct as a dude it is just "pay the tinder costs". I explored tinder when it first initially came out, had a gf for 3 years, I think used it for a few days in early 2017 when I broke up briefly.

Tinder was VASTLY different before monetization & money was involved. I was matching with the occasional models when it 1st came out, even seen girls I knew...Then used without boost in 2017, while had some decent matches with interesting chicks it was NOTHING compared to the 1st era of tinder.

I've never used tinder again, if you got that so called $100k/yr you prob live close to the bars, I'd just walk outside rather than swiping on the toilet.

Nonetheless, I see a correlation between ease & difficult almost always stems on the community dudes subjective experience of trying to brute force " get laid".

You would never know I had community affiliation as I just seem like a social dude out having fun meeting guys & girls. People like bringing me into their circles. You won't see me on a street corner hitting sets. I'm more likely to be getting a text from a girl if i am hitting xyz as opposed to a wing saying "nightgame?"

My View On NY...
- If not here for networking or career, waste of time
- If coming here GOOD LOGISTICS will make NY seem super easy
- If daygame centric, explore where the hotties go (rather easy to tell) you might see some social media girl, some wannabe model going to casting or a hot tourist exploring
- NY will be far more enrichening with cool social circles , so much going one & quality is way better regardless your niche (search dogpound gym in NY)
- If your COLD APPROACH impression is non-creepy & aggressive you will have a MUCH EASIER time meeting people. (Try hard will die hard)
- ACTUALLY LIVE, stop playing video games and binge watching tv shows, go out even on so called dead nights as there is stuff going on if part of the right circles

Above NY will seem very easy as like anywhere most people are bored living mundane lives. Although I NEVER do dates it will be easy to experience. Issue is a lack of genuine cool dudes as opposed to BOLD cold approacher's who are annoying/pest-like.

If you can handle the fast pace of NY then you can replicate things ANYWHERE as NY has a very sterile "hustler" focus. Having grown up here it never occurred to me that this isn't how humans generally are, I can see how new comers might be intimidated BUT don't let the facade fool ya. Lots of scared, lonely and uptight people looking to escape.

P.S...There is so much shit to do in NY, as a city it has lots of potential BUT the costs if you have remote location lifestyle, your better off living elsewhere unless you have some long term plan of career/networking.

Great post and yeah people the inability to some times look at cities not as a whole but as different areas really hurts people sometimes. NYC percent wise has some of the most depressed over worked people out of any city in the world, a lot of these guys struggling to make ends meet aren't really competition most of the time and the crazy thing is that cuts off like 50%+ of the guys as competition. Remember New York City is not like other cities were a guy can be broke/near homeless and still get by game wise because girls like his alpha idgaf personality. If you're broke/near homeless in NYC all your shit will be fucked up, the feeling of the city is extremely stressful and hard to have a real idgaf attitude in. You can't even sleep outside like homeless in other cities cause in NYC you will go insane. The police there are like an army and that's why the crime rate is plummeting. Your regular thug won't last in NYC even thugs in NYC are making decent money. Kind of rambling but basically my point is that most guy even thugs in NYC are not competition in NYC and there is a smaller amount of guys that girls focus on.

Has anyone here lived close to a university in NYC? If you can afford a decent spot or even a bigger $4k+ a month place next to a university out there I think it would be some of the best logistics possible.

My impression so far is that women can be really slutty for a period of time but that's it. Otherwise, hasn't been much different then anywhere else I've been in America. Its definitely so much easier to meet women here though. I can blow off pretty much any girl knowing another is probably coming soon. No worries about failing on any date.

The women good look but the overall the moral character of the women is low. More flakiness, lying and bullshit here. I would say some of the women can be cold on dates as well. This is what happens when women slut it up, get pumped and dumped. Dating becomes a routine and they can't have fun anymore.

I can't say Im not enjoying NYC but its definitely going to grind, I feel like too much time is wasted here on women and in the end is it really all worth it? Probably not

Would love to hear from people in NYC now on how they are tapping into those higher end social circles, without being a promoter. Distant Light's writings on the subject from years ago were super informative, but they apply to more of the pre-social media obsessed generation.
