These people show the dangers of group think. The protest should be democratic yet there's only two people speaking and all the others follow. The crowd is full of deviants: fat women, effeminate men, angry black people, and overly sensitive asians.

Half of the people in that crowd, who are white, are chanting "we have nothing to lose, but our chains" and "it is our duty to fight for our freedom." The only thing those people want, is attention. They want to be a part of something "bigger than themselves." So they decide to act like they are being oppressed because of the supposed racism that is plaguing their lives.

These spoiled individuals need to be knocked off their high horses. Notice as those who are protesting are coming from top tier institutions.

So if white people are insulated from it, who's causing it then? There's plenty of white and black living amongst each other, but these people don't see it b/c they're surrounded by the WEALTHY white people who do, in fact, come from insulated environments. The white guys in Mississippi and West Virginia, you know, the ones offing themselves at an alarming rate, don't even register on their conscious.

These types of broad generalizations remind me of the complaints about the lack of women on the boards of Fortune 500 companies, completely neglecting the VAST majority of men who won't ever see the inside of a boardroom. No one ever goes, "Hey, you're white, I'm white, here's a shit ton of money and prestige". Grow the fuck up. You go to Georgetown. Life is good.

Shit - that chanting in the video was bizarre. A group of pampered students going to a major University of the powerful chanting "We have nothing to lose but our chains". The real problem is that they appear to have lost their shrinks.
