Citing the African numbers is very misleading. Men of African origin are genetically far more susceptible to contracting HIV, whereas white Caucasian men are a great deal less susceptible to it, and in some cases of Nordic origin are actually completely immune to it. I can cite many studies here so this is not some urban legend. The hypothesis is that a gene adapted to protect them from malaria makes Africans more susceptible to HIV, while a gene adapted to protect them from the black plague makes whites less susceptible to it, and in some cases protects them entirely.

The cases of white men contracting HIV through penetrative intercourse (vaginal or even anal) are extremely, indeed vanishingly, rare and invariably involve exceptionally bad luck related to bleeding and lacerations. With African men, it can be a different story.

If it's true that Sheen or some other white heterosexual Hollywood actor has contracted HIV, it's a very safe bet that this did not happen as a result of penetrative heterosexual intercourse. Sharing of hypodermic needles would be the most likely avenue of infection in such a case.

It's been common knowledge he was into transexuals, so him being into men as well doesn't really come as a shocker. From what I read on dailymail just now, that he is also a recluse, has 'just given up on life' and stuff, tells me he is majorly depressed. Possibly his three divorces had something to do with it, and the fact that he binges on drugs only made it much worse. The HIV was the final nail in the coffin and one quite expected given the amount of sex with porn stars he was having.

No one who lives the hedonistic lifestyle is happy, or at least they never stay happy. You're always chasing crazier and crazier shit, either drugs or sex, and it never quite satisfies. You need challenge and daily purpose to feel happy, none of which it seems like Sheen has at the moment. So when people don't understand why Celebrity xyz isn't happy b/c they 'have it all', this is why. Nothing is earned anymore.

Was just listening to LBC (Leading Britains Conversation) Radio and they said it was Charlie Sheen. He than came on and they had a clip of him speaking saying how it will now change his life and something about him becoming a new person now.
