Hi all,

Have been a long time reader here and am hoping to get a couple pointers from people familiar with South Africa.

I will be in Johannesburg on a Sunday evening in December and then Cape Town for New Years eve and the weekend following.

Are there spots in Johannesburg that have a good scene on Sunday night?

For Cape Town on New Years Eve, any recommendations on where to go? Is it similar to NYC or other large cities where I should buy tickets to a venue in advance or is there just an area that we should go to?

We are a couple of upper 20s guys, staying on the beach in Camps Bay in Cape town.

Any advice is greatly appreciated - thanks.

Hey buddy,

I am going to Kinky Summer for NYE. Search for it on Facebook, a lot of hot girls and decent music if you are into techno and house.

The age group might be a bit young though. Haven't really bothered investigating anything else.

Which dates are you here for?

And finally- get tickets in advance for anything you may end up doing.
