RE: 25 Year-Old Woman Drives Drunk Into Crowd At Oklahoma St. Parade, 4 Dead, 44 Hurt
I drive drunk all the time but I always drive slow down around crowds of people.
I suspect there is more than meets the eye here. I suspect that this was a possible:
-Suicide attempt (albeit a very stupid suicide attempt)
- Murder (the bitch is just crazy and vengeful)
- A fit of rage (She is depressed, jealous of the prettier girls, etc and just wanted to lash out at the world and hurt people)
Even if you're drunk, how the fuck do you accelerate into a crowd of people? You gotta be murderous to accelerate into a crowd. (did she pass out with her foot on the gas pedal?)
C'mon, we all drive drunk but rarely does this happen..
When I drive drunk, I drive slow and careful.
This bitch is dangerous.
I think it was a fit of depressed, suicidal, homicidal, attention whoring rage.
The was basically just like a mass shooting except she used a car.
This ain't no "accident"

RE: 25 Year-Old Woman Drives Drunk Into Crowd At Oklahoma St. Parade, 4 Dead, 44 Hurt
Maybe this is a good time to remind people that on Nov. 6, 2014, the Washington Post ran an editorial titled "We should stop putting women in jail. For anything."
It was written by Patricia O'Brien: "Patricia O'Brien is an associate professor at the Jane Addams College of Social Work at University of Illinois at Chicago."
So I don't think I'm overreaching here to say that the Washington Post and University of Illinois both have total contempt for the victims here.
"Stillwater, Okla., police overnight identified Bonnie Stone and Marvin Stone, both 65, as among the dead."
If you're a member of the Stone family, both the Washington Post and University of Illinois don't think what happened to your loved ones matters because of the genitals of the person who did it. Remember this.

For those of you that think the pussy pass will not hold:
KTLA: Drunk Driver Kills 4 in Intersection
This happened in my neck of the woods and being a small community, caused a major uproar. Woman doped out on pain killers runs a red light and kills 4, including two elderly women, and a mother/son. It quickly disappeared from the press and the white knighting from those outside of the immediate area has been fierce. No updates since February, likely meaning this has been neatly swept under the rug.
Pussy Pass Trumps All.

Gio, I still think you shouldn't drive drunk AT ALL, at most a minimal amount.
Why risk the random pull over, DUI, car impounded, additional costs, etc ?
I've lost friends in drunk driving accidents and I know plenty who had a DUI - which always is a bitch.

Well well well:
Quote:Chambers' attorney Tony Coleman said she did not smell of alcohol when he met her hours after the crash and did not appear to be someone who had been in a "drunken stupor."
"I absolutely can rule out alcohol," Coleman told a press conference in Oklahoma City Sunday, adding that he had spoken to the woman's aunt, grandmother and boyfriend and all had said she was not drinking. Police are awaiting blood tests to determine if Chambers was impaired by drugs or alcohol.
"She doesn't remember a whole lot about what happened. There was a period where I think ... she could have even blacked out," Coleman said of Chambers. The attorney said Chambers only recalls people removing her from the car and being extremely confused.
"I have deep concerns about her competency at this point," Coleman added. "I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist, but I can tell you she's suffering from mental illness."
According to the Oklahoman newspaper, Chambers' boyfriend, Jesse Gaylord, told Coleman that Chambers suffers from diabetes, but was not being treated or medicated for the condition. The paper also reported that Chambers suffered from insomnia and had not slept for three days before the crash.
The Stillwater News Press reported that a witness saw Chambers leaving her job at a local fast-food restaurant only one hour into her shift Saturday morning. The witness told the paper that Chambers may have been crying. However, Chambers' manager told the paper that she appeared to be fine when she left.
"She was always on time. She is a pleasant person. I have nothing to say about her that isn't good. She has been an excellent employee," Mark Thompson said. "She didn't appear to be under the influence (when she left)."

I can't wait for the blood report to come back - so many fucking excuses being used here.
My money's on drinking/drugs + a mental break down.

Quote:STILLWATER — The driver accused in the fatal 2015 Oklahoma State University homecoming parade crash pleaded not guilty during a formal arraignment Wednesday in Payne County District Court.
Adacia Avery Chambers, 25, of Stillwater, did not speak during the arraignment, which lasted about five minutes. Her attorney, Tony Coleman, addressed the judge for her and said Chambers would plead not guilty to all 46 counts.
Chambers is accused of driving her car through police barricades and into a crowd about 10:30 a.m. Oct. 24 at Main Street and Hall of Fame Avenue. Four parade spectators died. Dozens were injured.
She is charged with four counts of second-degree murder and 42 counts of assault and battery by means or force likely to produce death. All counts carry possible sentences of up to life in prison.
Prosecutors allege Chambers' actions were imminently dangerous and in disregard for human life, but not premeditated. After the crash, Chambers told police she was suicidal at the time, according to a court affidavit.
Associate District Judge Stephen Kistler set the next court hearing for May 13. Attorneys plan to discuss Coleman's request to have prosecutors provide Chambers with an expert investigator to assist in her case at the state's expense.
A pre-trial conference to discuss dates for motion hearings is set for June 1. A trial date has not been set.
District Attorney Laura Austin Thomas said she expects the trial to last a month.
"I don't think we'll have a jury seated in a week," she told the judge.
Thomas said she anticipates more than 100 witnesses from across the country will testify. She said she would be ready for trial this year.
"We prefer (the trial) not be on the anniversary date of the killings," Thomas told the judge.
Coleman said he couldn't say when he would be ready for trial because he hasn't received all of the discovery evidence in the case.
"We need to do our own investigation," Coleman told the judge.
Thomas said she has already provided Coleman with 900 pages of discovery. She told the judge accident reconstruction evidence would be presented at trial.
Killed in the crash were Marvin Stone, 65, a retired OSU professor; his wife, Bonnie Stone, 65, an OSU employee; Nikita Nakal, 23, a University of Central Oklahoma graduate student; and Nash Lucas, 2, the son of an OSU sophomore chemistry major.
On Thursday, the American Red Cross plans to honor OSU president Burns Hargis and his wife with an award for their "leadership and resolve" following the crash. Stillwater medical staff also will be recognized.
Trying to get out of it with some sort of insanity plea. Fuck outta here. Put this maniac behind bars.

I mean, really, just wow, this kind of thing happens every day.
It's just too easy to get a car. Everyone has one. We need to follow the European model and increase the driving age from 16 to 18. We need more regulation and background checks to keep cars out of the hands of criminals.
We should ban cars with too much horsepower. What do you need all that horsepower for anyway? What are you running away from?
In places where you can't drive a car, there are no car related deaths. Want to stop car intentionals? It's simple. Ban cars.

I'd actually be ok with raising the driving age to 18 to reduce traffic. In states with a lot of packed cities like California and New York, it should be 18, that would slow the problem down a little bit, but traffic is shit.
As for the woman who did all of this, this was intentional? She is likely legit crazy(not saying she should get off or anything of the sort) Reminds me of the David Attias killings in Santa Barbara(he was crazy, intentionally ran people over with his car and got no jail time, but sent to a sanitarium to do up to 60 years there. He is still serving time, 15 years later.
