Hey guys, not sure if any of you guys on here like Lil Dicky. Saw him in Chicago last night, pretty amazing show.

This dude can actually rap, I was really impressed. I havn't really followed him long, a couple weeks back a friend sent me a link to "lemme freak" Thought it was funny, and saw he was comming to Chicago so picked up a couple tickets to the show at concord theatre in logan square.

I had honestly pegged this guy as kind of a wierd al yangovic comedy novelty type rapper. This dude goes hard, I was really surprised. I really expected it to be more of a comedy show than a real concert but he had the whole room jumping and stuff and surprisingly this dude can rap and puts on a better show than most "real rappers".

Thought it was really cool. On a side note if you read up on the dude he was just some guy working in an office who decided fuck it, I'll try to make my dream come true type thing and had some good luck getting over a mill views on youtube in his first few minutes he put the video up. Just thought it was also kind of inspirational as were all trying to do our own hustles and stuff. I thought it was kind of cool at one part of the show he was like 2 years ago I was sittinng in a cubicle and just said fuckit, I'm gonna try to do this rap thing.

Anyhow, if this dude comes to your city I'd highly recommend checking him out, it good music and a really entertaining show.

I went to his concert like a year ago on his first tour before he was really big.
It was a small venue I went to often anyway.

I forget where I heard of the guy, but I saw one of his videos on youtube a while back. Shit was pretty amusing and wasn't bad at all.

It's definitely one of styles of music I would prefer to see the video of while listening.

His shit is hilarious. The stuff he raps about is spot on for me at least. Aside from the whole Jewish thing. His videos and songs all remind me of being back in college.

Semi-related, but I went to a Dirty Heads concert recently and it was really good. I'm not into live music much but I had a blast. It was a festival so that made it more fun, but their music live is really good. I've seen Slightly Stoopid live and they fucking sucked in comparison, and just overall.

Yeah he's sorta in that same genre of "frat rap" or whatever they call it but without the dooshiness.

I was honestly surprised, I kind of expected it to be more of a comedy show than a rap concert but his music takes on a totally different genre live. online where its really slow and more about the comedy and delivery in person I have to say the guy has flow, the music is done to a much faster tempo, the DJ really turns it up. I caught myself like bopping and dancing to some comedy rap.

Best part of the show was it was like 90% kids under 21 so the bar was empty all night easy to go grab a drink. After the show was kind of fun, went to the after party at a bar down the street he performed a few more songs was drinking and partying with everyone, of course had a throng of girls on his dick all night, must be the life.
