When most guys say they want a "smart" woman - they mean things like

1. Can understand them when they talk about a something they're interested in. Some guys this is politics, science, some liberal art, social science, and/or other hobby.

2. Smart enough to make that they think are good life choices. This can vary, it can be things like having hobbies other than watching tv and gluing into their smartphone.

3. Smart enough to raise their and his children well

4. Smart enough to know how manage a household

5. Smart enough to be good with their money

6. Smart enough to have an enjoyable conversation with them

It does not necessarily mean a woman with a degree.

Men don't find smart women threatening, they find the "holier than thou" bitch attitude that accompanies their intelligence a pain in the ass, and risky. It's not so much a threat, as it is the added risk a pussy pass a women gets when she's in control of the well-being of someone else's life, that our gov't has protected her with with SJW gender laws across the board.

Precisely why female lawyers are a no-go for most guys. They become Hitler the second you cross them, then use all their knowledge of the law against you.

The prerequisite for intellect is caring about humanity. Modern women don't give a fuck about anything except themselves in the most solipsistic of ways. A female doctor's paycheck is by far more important than her patients, don't let their "act" fool you. If it's not their own kid, they don't give a shit. All they care about is their ego, what other women think of them, and total pandering to their existentialism.

So basically women are a RISK, simply because they've proven in the aggregate they CAN'T BE TRUSTED.

Side note:: Just sat in a sauna at my gym with a 49yo guy who had a shoulder surgery 10 years ago. Had problems ever since. They X-Rayed his shoulder again to find a metal piece of medical instrument broken off in the joint with major scar tissue encapsulating the metal. Since it's past the statute of limitations on medical malpractice, he has to have another surgery to have it removed, and can't sue for malpractice. What's even sadder, is the female surgeon stated in her surgical notation, the instrument was still in the patient and was sewn up knowledgable of it still inside him.

Possibly it is the arrogance and haughty smugness too often accompanying smarter women that makes them unappealing and unattractive I would say, rather than threatening. A lack of deep introspection outside their short term self-interests relating to professional and academic women still remains a common problem.

Unless the degree is in Home Economics... I was watching an old film from the 40s. The man visits the home of his love interest, and her younger sisters brag to him about how their sister tops the class in Home Economics and can run the household superbly. What were women learning in Home Economics? Your above list, pretty much.

Now Home Economics is long gone, we have its opposite instead: Women's Studies.

It's a Fred Astaire & Rita Hayworth musical film, "You Were Never Lovelier" 1942.

That scene would cause street riots around the world today, and yet back then they couldn't even kiss on camera.

You can still major in home economics, but they've called it something else, like family and consumer sciences. Plenty of colleges still offer it.

I imagine it is not terribly popular.

To put it simply i'd rather marry a girl with a knockout body/face from a poor background who is sweet natured as well as educated in the skills of cooking, cleaning, and the finer points of child rearing any day of the week over Miss Nuclear Scientist or an evil She lawyer.

The vast majority of non beta cuck type men i've talked to have similar leanings too. Intimidation has nothing to do with it at all it has to do with basic attraction.

A ball busting frumpy looking annoying person is not sexually attractive and that is what these "highly educated" women are. As usual they don't do what really makes sense and go deep into what these women look like.

Matter of fact the only time i've ever seen a hot scientist or engineer is in Hollywood action movies. I've never seen such a creature in real life.

I have seen some pretty cute vets though. Actually, I've found vets to be a pretty pleasant exception to the rule. Most of the ones I've met are pleasant to be around. With one notable exception I've found them to be very down to earth, caring personalities.
