Not by choice. I just have dryspells sometimes as well as career obligations and time/money inhibitions.

Personally I've had my sights set on 'changing the world' while I was still a virgin. I got to university and worked my ass off. The women came and went but my goal of writing something original and lasting has remained. I have an ambition that is totally separate from my sexual desires.

It seems strange that, for a lot of you, the road to doing something big with your life is one that involves trying to pick up chicks. Chicks are great, but ultimately throwing yourself into a suffering filled, yet ultimately rewarding, endeavor is something most educated and ambitious people end up doing. Doesn't seem to be much to do with women, and more to do with the greatness (or lack thereof) of the individual.

A lot of geniuses were prone to having a lot of girls. Think Einstein. This is just natural. If you are better at everything you should be better at getting girls. Getting girls is a genetically programmed necessity a means for survival of your bloodline.

Maybe you were just redirecting your sexual energy into creativity. Not a worst case scenario.

I'm in the same boat. Sometimes I think my sexdrive must be lesser than some of the guys here who hunt pussy 365 days a year. I'll go on a tear every few months then back out, rinse repeat.

I'm hoping to get to phase 6 when I'm 32 and get knee deep in the game when I'm 28. After that, it's all about finding the "one" and relationship gaming the shit out of her while building a family. That's my happily ever after and if I fuck it up, at least I know I gave it my all. I just hope crooked Hillary doesnt get elected and shut down websites like this that will make my dream much harder than it needs to be.

Well, Einstein had a wife and a mistress, as far as I'm aware. That's not difficult to pull off when you're the world's top physicist.

I sound sort of negative because people think 'suffering' is a negative thing. In my experience deep, profound, suffering will sometimes bring the most incredible fruits. It also may result in nothing but a miserable life - you take a chance. I would rather shoot for the moon than live in obscurity.

I'm at stage "meh." I realize that women are fungible and easily replaceable. Long term relationships are nice, but pointless after the honeymoon period wears off after one to three years. Most girls are lousy lays anyway, but you have your needs. My career, children, giving back, growing, these all take center stage. Women are a side dish. But I've eaten at many restaurants and the menu items all look familiar.

Yes Hanks thread is interesting. I like it.

My own reflection younger guys reach level 6 in there 20's by screwing top women in that same age range (18 to 25) They are the ones that burned out quick. and became really depressing to be around.

Older guys (28 and up) reach level 6 by the shear volume of older women trash (quantity and very little quality)

That said a note to young guys in level 6 the lean times will come just by you getting older, seek a healthy balance in life, you'll respect yourself more for that (and the girls) and you'll bounce easier when the lean times come. Always be a work in progress never assume you know all about women.

Personally I have briefly touched level 6 but always found a reason (my respect for woman curse) to stay at a 5. I like being hungry for women and appreciate the quality of the notch.

I am firmly in Stage 6 these days and it's kind of depressing.
I bang a new girl a few times but after that I quickly bored. When I first start banging a girl I can do it 3 or 4 times in a night but that quickly drops off to once or twice unless she really earns it by sucking my dick back to life. They just don't interest or excite me for long.
My pleasure is in the hunt and after that my interest just disappears. It almost becomes a chore to bother making time for my plates and often I will cancel on them just so I can spend more time at the gym and then chill at home.

I honestly feel jaded and like my ability to pair bond may have been irrevocably damaged. Which I find very sad as I still hold onto that idea of having a good wife and kids and building a long term stable family like my parents have.

I've entered a new phase (or am entering). I wouldn't necessarily call it a phase of game, even though I'm posting it here. I would call it a phase of social intelligence.

I've been through the phases many guys on here have talked about. Pre red pill, red pill, post red pill (gym, BJJ, side business).

There's another phase, which I'm sure has been discussed but I feel the need to explain.

About a year ago I was out with my friend, a pretty natural alpha. Let's just say, it's not uncommon for him to get approached by the hottest woman in the bar. He's pretty good looking, very secure, and a really fun guy (and looks like it). So I'm out with him and his wife and I make a comment about this girl who wants to fuck me. A dumb comment no doubt, but whatever. I don't even remember saying it.

A few days later we're golfing and he says, "why the hell did you say that in front of my wife"? Mind you, he wasn't mad, but a little confounded and annoyed that I would make that comment in front of his wife.

And that's the day I learned about this new phase. Many of my friends worship women (wives, girlfriends, flings). My dad is a bit of the opposite...he can't handle a woman standing up to him. He's still married because my mom is the uber-submissive type who stopped arguing years ago.

The real alphas though, the guys I most respect, treat women with CARE. As Jordan Peterson says of children, treat them as if they have the potential for wisdom. Treat women this way. In the case of my dumb comment in front of my buddy's wife, that's not something I would say in front of a woman I was interested in, so don't say it in front of her. Have a filter for her sake, not your own goals.

I'm finding a fresh take on life with this new perspective. Treat women with care. Compliment her. Speak softly to her. Be nice.

I wouldn't say you "should" do this. I wouldn't say you should do it until you're at this point. I'm guessing most 25 year olds aren't to this point.

But as I enter this new stage, I see how a man could understand the red pill to it's fullest and still get the door for her.

(The tough one will be when a woman talks about her dumb politics, to sit and listen. Nudge Right a bit and see how it lands. If she's just a dumb Liberal, just listen. If she's listening, offer her a little nuanced wisdom.)

I've met a wonderful woman and dropped my plates to pursue a relationship with her. I'm mid-fifties and thus have a have a chance to make this a "life time" thing. I've been practicing game and absorbing red pill knowledge for 10 plus years. It has become internalized. I have no delusions of a Disney happily ever after with this woman. All I can do is maintain frame and trust her to be a woman, nothing more. My brain and body are flooded with pair bonding hormones.  It's a pleasurable feeling, but at the end of the day, I have to remember that, she's just a woman. Nothing more and nothing less. Always maintain frame and don't let hormones make long-term decisions for you. Hope for the best, but remember that she's easily replaceable. One of the perks of being older is that the tables are turned. I am the prize and the game of monogamous musical chairs is running out of attractive, stable and Alpha chairs. Bitches know that and tread lightly.
