Good posture has come up a few times and I never realized how bad mine was till I forcibly made moves to correct it. Its counter intuitive to a lot of guys who arent good with women or beta in general. You'd think that presenting your self like that would make you look worse or vulnerable but everything lines up, you look better, walk better, and feel better. I'd really suggest standing in the mirror in your skivvies and check your stance out.

RE: Importance pf physique?
To me it is very important, the main reason it makes me feel alot more confident. Women respond well to guys with muscle that don;t have the meathead mentality. I am just under 5'11 and weigh 192 llbs and I find women will touch my arms when talking to me. I agree that women want to feel feminine and like little girls around a big muscular man. I mean bouncers always seem to do well with girls.
For those that want to add size, you must train your legs and do not work out two days in a row.

Yeah my legs are just.. sigh, not right. It's true that girls do like to be made to feel small and feminine in comparison to the guy and at 5'11" almost 6', with a decently athletic body I should be able to pull that off.. and I have the goods and carry that look through to the closing stages if you know what I mean.

The footballer build is my aim and I'll start by pure food consumption this summer followed by regular gym from September.

I agree that posture is important, I do try to work on mine, I don't think it's too bad.

200lbs+ at 6 feet tall is definitely on the big side. I'm 6'5" and 205lbs, the same height / weight as Kobe Bryant although he's in incredible shape and I'm just in good shape. I'd estimate a good goal at 6 feet to be around a lean 175-180.

I think each person has what they "feel" what women respond to. While I agree that having muscles can help....having a good "spit" game or being able to tell that chick to meet me at the "W" hotel will help just as much.

There are a lot of girls who go for the tall, thin and ripped look and some are quite cute. The thought that skinny guys are ruled out and hot girls only go for built or jacked guys is a myth that I disproved to myself long ago.

But you're 6'4." Basketball players look incredibly broad shouldered; with good posture and moderate muscularity, they have a commanding presence, and that's what it's about. Selling this as advice to guys who are 5'11" or less makes no sense. I've stood next to a group of college ball players, including a 7 footer, and they're all incredibly broad and imposing, despite being somewhat skinny. Plus their bodyfat tends to be low.

There's aesthetics, and then there's how your look makes the girl feel. A girl might choose the beefy bouncer over Mr. Lean because of the dominance and protection he radiates, aesthetics be damned.

The optimal look and muscularity will depend on your frame. For the lanky types, you can put on a lot of muscle and still not look too muscular. You can't set an end goal when you're at the beginning. Take it 10 lbs at a time, because you may find that 40 lbs later, you still have a ways to go.

Honestly, people here wouldn't disagree so much if they had pictures of what they're talking about, instead of fuzzy descriptions. Pictures can decide the debate.

Eg, this dude:

[Image: 1xi8UHzl02c90Qkhuluzv8WMjytuU6176e.jpeg]

He says he's 6'4", 227, ~8% bodyfat. Does anyone honestly think he'd look better with 10 lbs less, let alone with 30-50 lbs less, like neo and quantumfizz suggested?

No, physique isn't close to everything. But we should at least get the concept right, and know what's ideal. No need to be like fat chicks saying "You're beautiful the way you are!" Just because you do alright with a less muscular body (I as well), it doesn't mean what you have is ideal.

Also, it's nice to have a body type that reflects your persona. Mine doesn't reflect mine, I know hipsters can bed plenty of chicks with their skinny ass frame and tight jeans but I am in no way a hipster after hipster girls, I'm more of your Che Guevara wanna be poet-guerrilla lmfao, after curvy, feisty black and south asian women.. the skinny white dude look is not gonna cut it and just doesn't reflect my attitude and mindset.

To many guys get hung up on numbers. It doesnt matter what the measurable value for your body is, we all know what looks good and what doesn't. If you dont look good, fix it.

I disagree with this. Cardio has many benefits:

1. Allows the muscle you build to stay longer if you ever stop exercising for a while by keeping your metabolism high. The last thing you want is to see your muscle turn to flab as soon as you stop at the gym.
2. Improves blood flow to your brain. Your game will sharpen.
3. Improves blood flow to your dick. Your sex will be better.
4. Increases your endurance. You'll be able to keep screwing for longer.

Try and do a variety of cardio exercises to prevent your body getting used to a certain exercise, e.g. cycling.

This is what other doctors have told me. I may have heard wrong so please correct me if I am.

It's about time someone else here shares my pro-cardio sentiment.

Don't forget the benefit to your calves and the overall feeling of "sweat cleansing." There are dozen more I could list.

In the past cardio did little for me but make me sweaty, what I've noticed since I started running in the past few weeks is that now its working for me, only thing I can think of is that its the combination of cardio + strength training. Just doing one or the other doesn't seem to hold a candle to doing both at once.

180 llbs is average and imho too light. Do you want to be average???
Myself at 192 llbs is ok but a few more pounds would not hurt.

I have met crazy women who said they like the feeling of a heavy man on top of them or they like a man that looks likes he can beat the shit out of them (not literally of course).

Cardio is a must, perhaps if you are skinny you do not need as much - but you need cardio and a good diet.

The bachelor is easily 200 lbs on a 6' frame, and lean. 50's a little thicker. Anyone who doesn't think these guys are, relatively muscular, is plain wrong*. The bachelor is far more muscular than the average guy, yet he's nowhere near looking "too" muscular. And it's still a body that requires a ton of training to achieve, for most guys. He still looks good in a suit too. I'd guess a 42-44" chest is ideal.

*When you say "big," plenty of people think of say, 50 Cent plus 20 lbs or more. That's why they knock it.

I hate to tell you this, but the bachelor is definitely on gear. Now, his actual testosterone doses are undoubted very low, but anti-estrogens are very high. For most men, maintaining that kind of muscle mass and low body fat ratio requires ridiculous time at the gym and sauna. Why do that when $200 a month worth of winstrol, anavar, nolvadex and armidex will get the job done? This combo, by the way, is VERY common in hollywood.

It all depends where you hang out. If you party in the subburbs girls are more interested in the muscular look. In a city, if you're not at douchebag clubs, i think the slim(hardly any muscles) look goes a lot furthur. I used to be muscular and would now consider myself slim. I've done a lot better being slim. If you try to dress stylish it will always look better without a lot of bulk. The type of girls I would be interested would not be intersted in a muscular guy. They would much perfer someone original with some good style. I guess it just depends where you hangout and what type of girls you're into.

For 5' 11", I think the 160-175 range would be ideal.

Being 6'4 and 200 may not be the ideal but it really comes down to a choice. Getting above that weight and staying muscular, takes a ton of calories, gym time, and discipline that may not be worth it when it's translated to increasing potential for more attractive girls. That and or gear which I refuse to do. For a lanky guy like me, even when I do put on weight it's not that noticeable.

When I was in school and working part time for the summer, I could do the planning all my meals/macronutrient ratios/getting enough rest/etc., but with a full time job it's become more difficult. In fact bodybuilding like this is like a full time job. So it's a sacrifice. Would I look better with 10-20 more pounds a muscle? Probably, and if I had my own business and independent lifestyle ala Roosh I would definitely do it, but for now I have to do the 9-5 thing until I figure out a way not to.(Which is one of the reasons I love this board, great ideas thrown around)

I'm 38,6ft4" , 210, pretty fit ,run 3 miles, 3 -4 times a weeks plus 20 mins callesthenics each time..no gym or weights.
I would do free weights but can't stand the gym..prefer the park and fresh air!
Even with this routine ,the belly fat is not budging to the extent I'd like...not much there but abs are hidden.

The young Mike Tyson had the best physique(apart from the neck Smile) I think..no 'roids,or weights, just hard workouts sparring, bag, running and callesthenics. 5ft10 and 217 is big though! But for me at 6ft4" it'd suit me.

Don't forget about good genetics. Some of us aren't meant to look like a young Mike Tyson or a fitness model. For others, they barely workout between their 5000 calorie binge sittings and they still maintain washboard abs and a good physique.

Good point..maybe the most important...remember to be born with good genetics...choose your parents carefully people!
