I have something like 30 friends on my Facebook account (because I hardly ever use it) whenever some girl finds it or badgers me for it it is not uncommon for her to become immediately suspicious of me when finding out my page is so empty. It's as if my Facebook page is supposed to be a reflection of my life and who I am.

Went to a club in Skopje a few weeks ago. High end club called paradiso. Absolutely jam packed. Absolutely nobody looked like they were having a good time. I did not see a single person smile. Because american girls mainly operate in two modes

1) Cosuming (or talking about consuming)
2) Indulging their ego / status (or talking about their status)

Spanish chicks are not like that.

To a degree I agree with you. Stay with me though. I have something like a half dozen pics there, none of my real friends and never status update. Actually of my friends there a majority are starting to be girls I've gamed. I can't help but think that it's working somewhat to my advantage for these girls to see how I'm adding other young able bodies while not giving anything else away. Or am I completely in the wrong here? I've never bothered with facebook game but this particular dynamic I'm hoping works for me.

Yeah I don't think so. Girls don't use FB to meet guys. The betas on there giving them attention are still friending a lot of girls too, so I think you're fooling yourself.

I also hate to say it but Facebook is going the way of MySpace. In a way, twitter is the new Facebook...

I hear you. As an Italian from Rome transplanted in the US (and I lived in London for a couple of years too) I noticed another pattern: people trash themselves on friday night with booze etc because there is never a break in their daily routine and they dont go on vacation. EVER.

In the US too often a person lives for his job.
If people go on vacation is on average for 2 weeks, barely, and most importantly - feeling GUILTY. In the UK I recall the situation wasnt that bad, not at all, but wasnt great either when compared with other european countries.

Especially in Mediterranean ones like Italy, Spain, Greece etc, every business shuts down in August. I am not joking, everybody goes on vacation. 30 days of full break for everyone where you go to the beach and the cities empty up (usually July 20 thru August 20) to the point pharmacies are closed. Good luck finding what you need in Rome on August 11th!

I am aware that I am probably oversimplifying this topic but the bottom line seems to be: the majority of the european countries have a more balanced lifestyle than countries were the capitalist system has deeper roots (US, UK, Japan).

Too many people that comes from these places are burned out.
The fact you can go on vacation for 30 days in the summer doesnt make you immune to crackberry addiction and other dysfunctions, but it definitely helps you to recharge your batteries.

You dont look forward to your "crazy week-end of debauchery" in Vegas. You look forward to your upcoming 3 weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam.

Still, then you might have an economic crisis like the one that is hitting Greece, hard, these days.

Figure out what lifestyle you want and pick your country/girl with great care.

I doubt a smartphone has those capabilities, but getting an actual cell-phone jammer is something I've considered. Imagine how crazy you would drive the phone-addict bitches in the bar.

Yeah, this constant cell phone is annoying and I called out a girl on it today as Tuthmosis suggested. It didn't really go well though, probably because she didn't like me beforehand and I was just in their for my friend who was spitting some really funny and cocky game.
On a better note, A girl who was texting apologized for it saying that she had to coordinate with her friends without me having to mention it. Its a good thing that there are some girls who have manners and will apologize for texting.

Do you think cats in other countries are thinking about how to block girls' cell phone signals with exotic high-tech devices, so that they can remove a distraction just long enough to open a window to drop their game?
