Why does America have to be "white"? When I think of the US I do not think about "white". I think just about every ethnicity.

The issue at hand is not exactly one's ethnicity but rather the ideology one brings. I have no problem with Arabs/Pakis, whatsoever, but if Islam is attached, there is the ideological problem right there.

Maybe there's an anti-immigrant sentiment going around the forum due to the hordes of poor Muslim immigrants invading Europe, but let's not forget that legal immigration of high quality immigrants has a ton of benefits for the host country.

Asian immigrants bring this distinction themselves. Literally 2 days ago an Indian-American woman told me her brother-in-law is an American, when she meant to white. Just about all of the US born and raised east Asian-Americans that I come across imply that “American” = white.

That’s a very big generalization and I disagree. What say could be true for a very few FOB SE Asians, but not for other types of Asian.

I don’t have yellow fever, but I’m around east Asian women all the time in both work and my personal life. I’ve never thought of them as submissive…they’re just a lot more pleasant to deal with than the average white American woman…plus all the ones I’ve ever dated used to cook for me. The average white American woman is more likely to do raw dogged anal than cook for a man.

A lot of the east Asian women I’ve dated were wealthier than me, so it was never about the money either.

Regarding Asian violence: Lookup Hmong's in the Upper Midwest. There are plenty of gang and crime issues.

Regarding stereotypes: Not all Asian's are geniuses or assimilate into the culture. But most aren't thugs who cause problems. I would also guess the majority who come in do so legally. It's a lot harder to sneak onto a ship or plan than to walk through rural desert undetected. I would also guess a big portion of those arriving do so with student visas. I've spent ample time on multiple university campuses. There is always a much higher Asian population on a college campus vs. the general population of any city I've spent time in.

Legal immigration is a complex issue. I agree that it's important to bring in quality people to advance the nation, but too many will affect the culture and increase racial tension. Not enough and you can't replace falling birth rates currently observed in western nations.

Asians are better for me as a white man.

High intermarriage with whites and from what I have seen from random documentaries (like a racist japanese master sushi chef who is nice to his Japanese and White customers but surly to most others) and stories, whites are respected in Asian society. Not as much as a native asian would be I imagine, but certainly more than a different kind of foreigner or even a different kind of asian.

Nope. The Irish (White)/Chinese (Asian) blew themselves apart for the Pacific portion of the Transcontinental Railroad. So by that logic, we have two choices.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about this. Overall I think most people are right in rejecting multiculturalism and reducing immigration (overall) from any group. The U.S. has enough people already to cover all forms of professions. The problem is also Americanization. So many latinos, asians, etc.. in the U.S. end up as a way shittier version of their original ancestral culture.

Asians that end up in the U.S. get westernized..asian-american girls are on average also fatter, way more obnoxious, and extremely self entitled compared with their asian "sisters" in asia. Having more asians in America just means more of this. The world does not need more of this.

God forbid if these types start exporting even more of their shitty Americanized culture to actual asian countries. The good thing is most of them don't even speak actual asian languages and are too self involved/absorbed in being American to live or go abroad.

I also don't understand why folks are continually upset that the "elites" are self-interested. This has been the case throughout all of human history. It's only recently and in certain countries that they even bothered to lie and say they weren't just self-interested.

Does that mean you roll over for them? No. But unless you're serious about fighting them - which usually involves the hard work of becoming an "elite" (complaining on a non-mainstream Internet forum obviously doesn't count) - then all you can do is adapt for your own self-interest, and help others do the same.

I also don't believe Americans (or the elites in charge) are really interested in quality immigrants to begin with either.

The elites have always pushed hard for foreign contract labor (h1b) but they don't necessarily want these people to stick around either. The whole point of h1b is giving the employer the leverage to hire and fire from a deep global pool of people with little to no actual salary negotiation rights or benefits once they are in the country.

The reason why illegals stream over and why hispanics are propped up so hard by the mainstream media is also because they serve the lower economic labor pool. Elites want to pay <$2 an hour and not $8.75 an hour or whatever for fruit picking.

Plus there has been an idolization of ghetto culture and a homie with neck tattoos, bandana, with saggy pants holding a gun sideways bustin' caps is more romantic in movies than an asian with glasses and a pocket protector slanging a protractor.

Anecdotes aren't really informative here. Of course there will be some bad apples. Stereotypes are more relevant unless you're arguing that they aren't even accurate.

Despite that, the majority of the immigrant population tend to work actual jobs and push their children to achieve in life. Typically the closest thing you'd get to an asian gangster is a semi thuggish b-boy. But by and large the majority assimilate and push their kids to succeed at life.

But lets not forget that asians roll deep.
