This really sucks. Now we have to worry about Asians coming here in droves. At least the Mexican women are hotter on average.

Boy I will sound racist for saying this, but whatever. Asians bring more hard working people, good citizens, and are generally smarter and contribute to society.

Mexicans can be useful as a third class proletariat doing jobs like construction, bus boys, and picking fruit in the fields, but our prisons are full of Mexican druggies.

Also, Asian women tend to be much more thin than Mexican women, they eat more rice and vegies and less fast food.

Let the Asians come.

Seeing as I grew up and lived "on the west coast" for a LONG time, to know that Hmong (who either usually live in Northern California - Crescent City, or in the midwest) Vietnamese - I grew up with a lot of them and they usually go the highest grades in school, learned English, and changed their names to English Names (along with the Chinese immigrants who did the same thing)

I don't know about cambodian immigrants because I never see them.

I live in Seattle and there's a huge asian population here. I have never had any problem with any of them and the chicks are cute. I've also never seen any asian thugs but this isn't LA. I'd prefer this over the immigration crisis in Europe, that's for dam sure. I'm agreeing with CJ_W on this, you obviously have never lived on the west coast. Not sure why you're so biased against these people but it's misplaced.

I've lived in LA for two years and its bad out there, why do you think I left? Latino gangs, Asian gangs, Black gangs.

My problem is not pushing some sort of "Asians are violent" angle. My concern is immigration period. Even if its just a little crime, why are we bringing in crime period? This goes for all immigrant groups (Hispanics, Asians, Middle Eastern) whatever. How about 0% crime? We already have a gang problem of our own with Black Americans, you and me know this better than anyone. Why do we need to keep adding on more crime from anybody? Even if its "just a little crime".

Also, I don't want the U.S. turning into a mini Asian country.

Viet gangs are huge in Texas and Louisiana because they came after the war to work on the Gulf. The idea that they all assimlate and live up to their nerdy stereotype is humorous. Anyone remember that Cambodian gang in some California town that shot up a mall and killed themselves?

Anecdotes aren't really informative here. Of course there will be some bad apples. Stereotypes are more relevant unless you're arguing that they aren't even accurate.

I don't know if it matters so much where the immigration is from. Whether it's from Mexico, China, India, Dorkistan, Dickheadistan, or Mars.

What matters is that there is a feeling that America is up for sale. That the floodgates are open. That the "leaders" here have sold us all out. Completely, totally, and utterly.

It just seems like, to me, every migrant coming here isn't interested in the country.

We don't need more immigration, from ANYBODY!!! As much as I hate a Latino/Mexican takeover, at least we have some cultural ties with them, and I say "some" very kindly and liberally. With Mexicans at least we have a shared history (our neighbor), cultural ties, share the same continent, have a European language, many cities in the southwest have Spanish surnames already. Even though it hurts and I think it would be disastrous, but the sting is not as bad.

But Asians? This may sound a little harsh, but they really have no business being here. They have absolutely no cultural ties with us or really this continent for that matter. They have a very different culture, very different customs, have an Asian language and different writing styles, are from a totally different continent.

I don't want the U.S. to look like Singapore!

That's just as facetious as saying all Blacks and Mexicans are violent. Simply not true, BUT to deny that there are Hmong and Vietnamese gangsters who cause problems in the USA is also ridiculous.
