If your goal for the night is to get a quick bang with as few roadblocks as possible, are hotel bars the best place? I'm thinking this because any girl who is at a hotel bar by herself is obviously traveling, has a room, and is probably down to "meet" someone.

What do you think?

Not sure if "best" place, but definitely a good one!

One caveat--I wouldn't assume the girl has a room, she may be a local looking to meet someone.

Basic advice then: visit some hotel bars, see which ones have a good crowd, get them on "lockdown."

I travel a lot for work and in our business we have a saying: "Nothing 'good' ever happens in a hotel bar"...
that being said - YES, YES, a million times, YES...
a Hotel Bar is an ideal place for this....

Hotel bars are also crowded with pro, especially in Asia.
When I was travelling to Singapore or KL, all 4* hotels were fulfilled with pros at the bar.
I didn't do business trips often in Europe so I can't tell.

The pros are not exclusive to Asia. Whenever you're in a 5*, it's not uncommon to see a few girls hanging around looking for the business travelers.

If you see a young (18-25), sexily dressed girl totally alone at a 4 or 5 star hotel bar you have to assume she's an escort.
Most young girls travelling alone stay in hostels or simple 2 or 3 star hotels cause that's all they can afford.

You are more likely to run in to a pair (or group) of young girls in nice hotel bars, but these are obviously harder to isolate than a girl alone.

The only type of women (who are really alone and "looking") that you will meet in fancy hotel bars (and who aren't escorts) are career and business women (some married) aged 30 and up. They are either on company expenses or on holiday. Always check for the ring on her finger.

So it's a bit hit and miss. Hotel bars should be the place you go if you arrive in town very late in the evening, or when you've been out gaming all day in a new place and were unsucessful. Kind of a place of last resort before you go to sleep.
