I saw YouTube videos by Vincent Kelvin because he had the same initials as Virgle Kent. I don't know Kelvin, and don't want to hate him. He has ripped abs and may have skills that don't manifest on promotional videos.

But he shows a lot of videos where he has a rainbow afro and clowns around with women. Much of it seemed designed to get photos to show to prospective students. The women seemed amused, but did not seem to take Kelvin seriously. I worry that students emulating him could become performing monkeys who ruin their chances.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's all about approaching in numbers. Maybe Kelvin's outrageous hair and audacious attitude are effective. What do you say?

It's interesting you found a clip of this ass-clown in action, because he's come up in a couple of other threads. In fact, I would have thought this was a parody of some kind if I didn't already know this fool is for real.

The clip basically confirms what we all already suspected: this Kelvin character is as corny and awkward working his "game" as he is just talking normally. In my opinion he fawns on the chicks way too much and smothers them to such a degree that they have no choice but give him their numbers, since it's the path of least resistance in getting him to go away. He seems try-hard and agitated, forcing things about his "travel" and status into his one-sided conversations. He talks too much and too fast and the girls likely think of him as harmless entertainment for the moment--a distraction they will never, thankfully, have to deal with again. This says nothing about his look, which is as cartoonish and over-the-top as the game he's spitting.

He even fell flat with the fatty. That should tell you something.

I can't judge his effectiveness, the girls didn't seem too impressed - I see a lot of unenthusiastic responses and crossed arms - but how impressed can they be in 10 mins of a cold approach? Getting the number and getting to actual building of a connection later seems an acceptable alternative to me.

I'd say it's too corny for me but definitely a good start. In any case, I do give him kudos for his courage, especially as he seems to be quite short, which is yet another detriment in pickups.

The dude looks like a bit of a clown, but I think what he does do is show a very key aspect that a lot of people (myself included) dont get, which is if you just try you'll usually get somewhere. He's dressed like a dork, comes off like a dork, yet the girls do still stop and talk to him for at least a few minutes. If that jagov can get their attention why couldn't someone better off? (think I just had an epiphany)

There are 2 types of PUA. The naturals who have inner game and follow RSD guys and Richard La Ruina and those who are clowns and follow mystery and this guy. The proper definition of PUA is the game guy but over the years it has lost the true meaning

Like many guys here have already pointed out, there is the "mainstream" commercialized PUA bullshit with smoke & mirrors and all the ridiculous terminology...

Then there are real guys who:

Don't call themselves "PUA's"
Don't hide behind a false persona
Don't resort to stupid shit like pea-cocking
Haven't sold out just to make a buck
Actually pull girls with real game

Care to take a stab at which is which?
