English General says," Mutiny and coup if Corbyn is elected."
Two weeks in and I'm already freaking loving the way you Brits handle your undesirables! It looks like the folks with the guns are making the rules.

Quote:A senior serving general has reportedly warned that a Jeremy Corbyn government could face "a mutiny" from the Army if it tried to downgrade them.

The unnamed general said members of the armed forces would begin directly and publicly challenging the labour leader if he tried to scrap Trident, pull out of Nato or announce “any plans to emasculate and shrink the size of the armed forces.

He told the Sunday Times: “The Army just wouldn’t stand for it. The general staff would not allow a prime minister to jeopardise the security of this country and I think people would use whatever means possible, fair or foul to prevent that. You can’t put a maverick in charge of a country’s security.

“There would be mass resignations at all levels and you would face the very real prospect of an event which would effectively be a mutiny.”
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/pol...09742.html

For our English blokes here, does this mean we can expect to see tanks rolling into Parliament and forcing the resignation of this Labour nitwit if he becomes PM? What does the Queen have to say about all this? Could her or the royals secretly be behind all of this?

If such a thing occurs , can an American enlist in the English armed services? I'd love to be able to knock some degenerate skulls in. Angel

Sadly, I think the general is probably referring more to public criticism and use of the press to present an opposing narrative to that of Corbyn's (were he PM). Traditionally the British Army does not make any kind of political statement publicly (as may well be true for many other armies). I know several senior generals socially, and none of them would ever countenance a coup - 'it's just not British'.

I'm no fan of socialists, but that's disgraceful.

The army obeys the crown, it doesn't make its own agenda. This guy is as big affront to freedom as any SJW

The day we start tolerating military juntas in the west, is the day we decide to truly turn third world. Not in demographics, but in mindset.

Military juntas ran rampant in Latin America in the 30s-80s, and they did nothing but fuck up the place even further.

As much as we may dislike some elected officials, they still are elected by the masses.

With that in mind, could the Royals be planning something? Is there enough popular support in the military for them to pull off such a stunt?

Apologies to our English posters for my oddly placed enthusiasm. With Europe being a complete mess right now, it feels like we're on a precipice of something.

Edit: Here at work, a man dressed up in drag as the Queen and went walking around doing impressions. I'm the token foreigner with my colleagues all being English. Everyone was having a big laugh and enjoying it. Whereas I found it surprisingly insulting and offensive. I was under the impression lampooning the Queen was a big faux pas. When in Rome right...

Fortunately the Brits have a Royal family with a long history of courageous military service to Crown Queen (or King) and Country most recently with Prince William as a Coastal Helo Rescue pilot and Prince Harry as a qualified Apache Attack Helicopter pilot after service on the ground in Afghanistan... these lads could have lived a blessed life just continuing their mothers many charitable works yet they decided to serve in the Military and lead by example - these are not the types of lads to roll over and let their country be invaded and the Crown threatened.

I am sure the British Military who are some tough blokes have cleared these actions privately with the Crown who they have sworn an oath to defend with their lives - modern day Sea, Air and Land knights of the realm all of them who will not tolerate SJW traitors disarming and destroying the UK.

This is a clear shot across the bow of the labor SJW Marxist Communists by the British military that the UK will be defended while the Crown stays above the political fray.

One of the beautiful things about the British military, other than that we're pretty fucking awesome for such a tiny country is that they pledge their allegiance to the Crown.

Not politicians.

And to a man they believe it.

I think people are overacting over this Corbyn guy, so many politicians get into office all fired up but in reality the bureaucracy is so deep he'll never achieve much and the opposition will be throwing in every road block there is.

I get a feeling I'm in a minority but I vote labour mainly because I can't stand the born to rule mentality of the tories, they are so weak. One of their campaigners came to my door and shook my hand, it was one of the limpest, clamiest handshakes. right there and then I felt he had no conviction.

Britain is mostly run by its civil service. And not only at the administrative level, but most of the policy as well. I don't think it would be possible for any politician, on the left or right, to really cross them and stay in power.

And as I understand it the senior bureaucrats serve for very long periods under multiple governments. Politics and commons debates are largely theatre. Not to say that politicians can't do harm, but they are somewhat reigned in.

The Prime Minister before Thatcher would have been ousted by a coup if he didn't resign.

Which would have been great since all the lefties and trade unionists ruining Britain today would have been purged as well.

RE: English General says," Mutiny and coup if Corbyn is elected."
Corbyn election shows Labour's delight in losing, says Italian PM

Quote:Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi has attacked British Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn, saying that his recent election proved that Labour “delight in losing”.

“After what happened with Corbyn, I think [David] Cameron is the happiest of all about Corbyn’s win,” said Renzi said in a speech to lawmakers in his own party.
He added: “It’s not a question of being Blairite or anti-Blairite, it’s a matter of ‘Do you want to go to elections like you go to the Olympics, to win or to participate’?”

It was not the first time that Renzi expressed a sense of exasperated frustration in the wake of the Corbyn victory.

Last week, Renzi said on a radio programme: “The last one called ‘Red’ was Ed Miliband, who took a mighty slap in the face from Cameron. I don’t think people who want to get out of Nato want to win elections.”

It is almost unheard of for Renzi to target a foreign opposition leader with such insults, particularly one that, like his Democratic party (PD), is left-of-centre. But Corbyn’s win came at an important juncture for the Italian premier, who is seeking to pass controversial constitutional reforms that are opposed by some in the leftwing flank of the PD.

While some liberals in Italy might take comfort in the Corbyn victory, Renzi – who has taken on trade unions and sometimes forged alliances with conservatives to pass his agenda – was clearly suggesting that they ought not to, and that Corbyn’s chances for moving beyond the opposition were doomed.

He even compared Labour to the Washington Generals, the team that plays in exhibitions against the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team, and always loses.

Blatant attacks against foreign leaders are rare, but Italian politicians do gravitate to British politics. Matteo Salvini, the rightwing and xenophobic leader of the Northern League, voiced his support for David Cameron last month after the prime minister and other conservatives took a hardline against accepting immigrants.

Cameron, Salvini said, had shown “balls” in his efforts to close Britain off to immigrants as thousands sought to make their way to Britain from Calais. While Britain’s stance on immigrants has since evolved, Cameron and Russian president Vladimir Putin are both admired by Salvini.

Beppe Grillo, the populist head of the anti-euro Five Star Movement, has claimed support for Nigel Farage, the Ukip leader, who Grillo once commended for his sense of humour and irony.

Mutiny? They have enough ammunition (excuse the pun) to have had several revolts.

- Scrapping of major assets such as the Harrier jump jets and Tornado numbers gutted.

We now need American made aircraft to launch off of our shiny new aircraft carriers Laugh

- Lack of care and funding for soldiers

- Locks up a soldier who executed a murdering insurgent. He is doing life.

- David Cameron ignores advice from seasoned veteran commanders and goes "tall ho!" into Libya. His experience? Why being a cadet in school of course!

- Lack of funding when it is needed. Lack of equipment when it is needed leading to hundreds of our soldiers being maimed and killed.

This is just off the top of my head. Its a lucky thing British PMs don't have many psychos after them.

I for one would be very interested to see what a military government could do in a first-world country.

I doubt the USA would allow this, but there's basically no more realistic option to reverse rampant left-wing nonsense than a military government.

Look to Latin America for good historical precedent. Fascist Europe also.

Get used to book burnings, killings of political opponents, and a slow and steady economic decline.

And best of all, watch the military men line their pockets with tax money and cushy contracts.

LOL!

This general is talking out of his ass.

Mutiny if he were to scrap Trident??? It is amazing the British public doesn't demand an end to Trident immediately. It is a costly boondoggle in a country that has so many now visiting food banks.

What a cuck. British government aids and abets thousands of British school girls being raped and sexually enslaved by foreign invaders and continues to demographicly destroy the nation and that's no problem. But god forbid the damned useless defense budget be cut. Wouldn't want the armed forces watching idly while their nation is irreversibly destroyed to lose some of their shiny toys.

I actually bet the British Military would have put a stop to Rotherham. The largest minority I m aware of in the militatu are Sikhs, a group which has been known to instigate revenge attacks on the Muslim community.
