There is this girl who does contract work for me and I know she respects me professionally so I know she wants a bigger stake and involvement with me professionally. I liked her tremendously because of her feminine nature, I envisioned us building a family empire together. I finally went for the kiss but she gave me the cheek and said we should be friends since we will be working long nights together.

I had no choice but to retreat. I don't flirts with her anymore, I don't speak to her unless I have to and only about business. I took my attention away from her because I was not going to sit in the friendzone waiting for her.

One way or another all woman serve a man. Whether it's their husbands or if they are single "strong" woman she serve their corp bosses. They all serve a man, even if they don't think they do. This is the reason I'm starting to feel sorry for this girl. Here she had a possible opportunity to serve me as her husband. I very loving husband that would love her and provide for her and our future children. However, she chose to serve me as her employer. Therefore, at most all she can ever be to me is a valuable contractor, nothing more. The more I look at her and think about her the bottom line is all that matters now. If she gets married and has a family it won't be my family so if it affect my bottom like I will contract someone else.

I can't help but feel a little sorry for her. Even though I'm still a little hurt for getting friend zoned. However, I'm only becoming more desirable cause I"m more successful by the year. As opposed to her who is in the final years before hitting the wall and not being able to have children. Like so many woman of her generation, she chose career over family.

Believe me that she wasn't feeling sorry for you when she told her Girlfriend about how she rejected you and generally laughed about you! Just by reading your post I can tell that you still have it for her, and best believe that she knows it too. If it doesn't hurt your bottom line I think that you've got to let her go and not see her

The OPs feelings are natural and honest. Unfortunately, this means he is fucked in modern society. Even in the old days, a relatively high value man (supervisor over female employee) could still be rejected as a suiter, but at least he had a very good chance. However, today she is not even interested in a quality husband. She is looking to put off marriage for 5 to 10 year's, and wants to get fucked by the hottest guys she can in the meanwhile.
