Berlin Info Needed
Sup all,
I was looking through and could not find any information about Berlin which suprised me considering its one of the biggest party places in Europe. Im sure some of yall have been there, could you share some information?
Day: Info on day game would be great, besides the touristy places. Anyone gone on the booze cruises they have?
Night: From what i have seen the nightlife in Berlin is slightly overwhelming. What places would you people with experience recommend as far as pub crawls, bars, clubs, after parties?
Thanks for any input you all have!

The "it" bars right now in the East are:
Odessa Bar on Torstrasse
Trust - across the street from Odessa. Dark door. You wait in front. Guy looks through and decides if you are cool enough to enter.
Kingsize - on Friedrichstrasse
Then you have the stable Cookies Bar on the corner of Friedrichstrasse and Unter den Linden ONLY on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Then the places that have been around for ages, bigger places to dance like Weekend in Alexanderplatz and Watergate. Berghain as mentioned is also good. You will want to read up that place and the do's and don'ts for getting in! In the summer, you've got all kinds of stuff going on at the parks. I particularly enjoy Mauerpark (the Sunday karaoke is fun...just go check it out). Also Volkspark Friendrichshain has all kinds of girls just hanging out if it's sunny. Don't forget the Badeschiff on the water - it's like a boat that serves as a swimming pool on top of the river. Hard to explain. Also a beach bar. Then just basic stuff like the markets on the weekends...I like the small one in Prenzlauer Berg on Kollwitzsplatz. Another good one in Friedrichshain I believe, but have not been. I normally go out in the EAST. Have not really gone out in the West as much. For food, you have to do one meal at Monsieur Vuong on Alte Schonhauser Alle. Please order the chicken dish off the small blackboard on the wall. Anytime of the day you go, it's go people there. If you like Asian fusion food at good prices, it won't disappoint. Walk up and down Kastanienalle in Prenzalauer Berg...tons of cafes and people watching. Also a beer garden on this street called Prater. Same can be said for walking all around the area Alte Schonhauser Alle/Neue Schonhause Alle/Rosenthaler Strasse/Hackesher Markt. Tons and tons of cafes and cool clothing stores (and girls of course). If you want some more crazy stuff, head to Kit Kat Club or Insomnia. Insomnia hosts regular swinger parties, BDSM parties, you name it. If you have any interest in that type of stuff, ie bondage, discipline, etc....Berlin is your city. It is VERY fetish friendly and you can meet some absolutely freaky girls. I have been to Berlin only 4x and feel like I've just touched the surface. I am renting a place there this summer and going back. Can't wait to hit it hard!!!

If you do your recon, Berlin has everything for anybody. It's been over two years since I've been, so I'm hesitant to throw out actual club names (other than Berg Hain), but from what I remember, you literally could find any type of scene or vibe you wanted. They had upscale lounges, alternative music clubs, crazy trance warehouses, hotel bars, pubs, you name it. The place rocks for gaming more or less 24/7.
Also, from what I remember, East Berlin is where all the real action is. I stayed right around Alexanderplatz and it worked out well.
