I just saw an ad for a new show called Quantico that is debuting on ABC later this month.

Here's how ABC describes the plot:

Here are some initial observations:

- The recruits are of course "diverse" and women are shown to be just as physically talented as the men in the ads

- Their leader/trainer is of course "openly gay"

- The main female character hooks up with a male character and, then, being "sex positive" has no qualms about mentioning that in front of the other men and women recruits (before they've even met as shown in the trailer)

Anybody want to go out on a limb and guess that the mole terrorist isn't a Muslim?

So here we have:

- "Strong" women
- Sex positive women
- Gay leaders
- and most likely a pro-Arab message

The time slot competes with Sunday Night Football so it looks like women are the target audience.

The mole terrorist is going to be a good looking white guy, probably the prototypical All-American type: Midwest roots, Northern European ancestry, high school football star, Methodist -- possibly Lutheran but his Christian affiliation will definitely be known.

As for the gay instructor, give me a God damn break. And I'm not even that concern with gay rights. Fuck who you want and marry who you want. I'm not a gay-hater but I'm certainly not going march or rainbow stripe my Facebook profile. However, this is akin to having a Texas cowboy/rancher being the editor of Esquire in a tv show/movie. A cowboy is just as capable as a dainty urbanite to learn and write about monk strap shoes or the Milan fashion show, but the cowboy usually isn't attracted to that profession.

A gay man can certainly be just as athletic, methodical, physically bad ass as a straight man, but the likelihood of a gay person being attracted to a violent and dangerous line of work is extremely small. All that said, the instructor is probably a lesbian, which renders the above point moot.

I saw a poster for it in the subway. Just a wild guess, but it sounds like it was probably pitched as "Homeland" meets "Scandal".

I'm glad I don't watch TV anymore.

Those 4K TVs do look amazing, though...

You're actually surprised by this? I am actually surprised when a TV show is actually somewhat believable and not totally pathetic. Which is I have become a fan of international film for my entertainment needs. This is of course when I am not watching 80's movies (IMO the greatest decade of American movie making).

Saw this ad and immediately scoffed at it. The cast seems to be primarily composed of women which in law enforcement is just not the case. Especially, next level law enforcement like the FBI. And then its all based around people having sex and hooking up. Very unrealistic and I'll give it less than 10 episodes before its off the air.

2) The terrorist act was because he hated how this country is going (anti-immigration racist) and wanted to shake things up
3) They'll spend most of the season trying to pin the terrorist act on the Indian or hijab girl (racist profiling!)
4) They'll find the breakthough clue to solve the case in the Koran
5) There'll be an interrogation scene of the hijab girl where the interrogator breaks down and is inspired by her steely resolve and her inspirational beliefs
6) The gay FBI chief walks in the room and say "Look, we just got these facts... we were wrong, so so wrong.... we let our prejudice blind us"
7) The Muslim girl doesn't hold any grudge against them but graciously forgives them for their slight because of religion of peace
8) The gay FBI chief massages the interrogator's flaccid dick to comfort him about the interrogation gone wrong
9) Indian girl has lesbian sex scene with Muslim hijab girl (absolutely haram, Allah and Mohamed frown upon such vile acts)
10) Once Indian girl escapes from prison she vows to clear her name and find the perpetrator: "By the tusks of Ganeesha and the charms of Vishnu I will find the terrorist mastermind and I will NOT ask him to have a nice day."

Come on guys…she’s an ex Miss World and she’s still in good shape. She’s a definite WB for me.

As for the TV show, fuck it. As soon as I saw the gays in trailer I thought “I’m out of here”. Priyanka has been trying to make it in the US for a while now, she tried to have a singing career in the US which went nowhere.

This show can ruin her reputation in India too, Bollywood actresses are supposed to be seen as clean living and don’t even kiss on screen. I don’t think Indians will like the fact that she’s slutting it up in the trailer.

ABC is trying to be seen as progressive by shoe horning in different races into its programming such as Fresh off the Boat (Chinese) and Black’ish (Black). This is probably the first prime time US drama with an Indian actress as the lead...but the character she plays is half white - I guess full blooded Indian as a lead may scare the TV executives?

It’s just a matter of time before we get a drama about an obese tattooed neon-hair coloured gay Muslim physically disabled autistic mixed raced Hispanic/black tranny who works at shelter hosting illegal immigrants with HIV.

I had a look at recent shows using the showbox android app. All shows except historical ones are either SJW propaganda or downright satanic shit. I mean ALL, even sci-fi stuff. It's so gynocentric that it made me sick after a while. HBO takes the cake for pro LGBT shows.
Of course like in hollywood we know who's behind this demonic bullshit.

Sunny Leone is not a mainstream Bollywood actress. She’s basically an item girl, who pops as a “vamp” in a dance number and stars in B-list films.

Most of the mainstream A-list Bollywood actors/actresses barely interact with her, and I highly doubt she would ever make it into the A-list.

In the US a lot of porn actresses have had bit parts in the background or acted in a few scenes, but as far as I know none of them has crossed over into the Hollywood A-list. Sasha Grey was in the Entourage TV show and was in one movie (The Girlfriend Experience), but she hasn't had consistent mainstream success.
