Yes, this has the liberals all up in arms. I saw people (liberal women) calling for boycotts of all of his movies, all for saying that the decision should be based on merit and not on skin color.



Didn't someone once have a dream one time that this exact scenario would come true one day?

But, as far as Matt Damon goes: "you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas". Have fun buddy.

I don't see much written about it and maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like there's a generational divide among liberals where the older ones associated being liberal with issues like "healthcare, regulation, education" and the millennial generation associates being liberal with trigger warnings and tone-policing about anything that makes them upset.
