When girls are trying to lock you/have you locked down, they often try to get you to stop working out so you are less attractive to other girls. Basically she feels like if you keep working out, you'll become out of her league. Its subconscious in a way and I don't think it reflects reality at all.

Most girls like guys who are big or ripped.

It's the same principle why if you're an average guy, and you start lifting and approaching girls, you may get hate from some of your friends.

Girlfriends/girls you're dating are the last person you should trust for advice on your body. Every long term relationship I've been in has at some stage resulted in "you work out too much / you're too big / why do you keep working out so much, you already have a girlfriend" style conversations.

It's exactly as Saladin says above - girls in long term relationships either consciously, or unconsciously, want to make you less attractive to their competition.

I think if we change the language here from a ripped guy to a fit guy it kind of changes things.

I think a lot of women don't like ripped, not to say they don't like the look but maybe associate it with tight tee's, assholes, dooshes, etc.

I have seen a big increase in women looking for "teddy bar" type guys whatever that means or who say they want a normal guy and not a 6 pack, I wonder if they are actually attracted to that or if it's more of a I'm less likely to be cheated on by a guy less in demand or they won't feel as self concious about their own bodies if they are with a guy in the same shape as them.

Definatley agree. Not to say I let myself slack when in a relationship or dating someone regularly but when your not out trying to pick someone up every night there's just not quite as much at stake or quite as much motivation to be at your best.

Sometimes I'll catch myself slipping a little and say okay I need to eat healthier or run more or lift more or whatever else and without a doubt everytime I've done this while in a relationship i get some pushback about why I'm doing it it or even to the point of criticizing me for trying to improve myself.

Tell us more about how you met and started banging these girls when you were ripped and how they didn't like ripped men?

If they didn't like ripped men, they wouldn't have given you the time of day. Maybe it's a subtle preference of theirs, maybe not, but there's absolutely no way you would be able to tell considering you were ripped when you attracted them.

Watch what women DO, not what they say. What they did is start fucking you when you were jacked. That's the most important thing, by far.

They are lobbying to expand their fan club. The more guys they have chasing after them the more their perceived sexual market value goes up. The endgame being they try to "land" a high value man.

Those physiques would be possible without juicing with a few years of very serious training. However in Tom Hardy's case the issue is he put on 30lbs on a 5ft 8 frame in 3 months for his Bane role. And he semi-admitted to taking steroids in interviews:

30lb in 3 months is guaranteed juicing. One thing I'll add with many celebrities though is that even random shots taken of them on the street are photoshopped by their publicists. Essentially the biggest celebrities have a PR team that scans the internet and touches up basically any photo [Or deletes the unflattering ones].
