Angry Feminist Shames Lawyer Who Complimented Her
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1...cture.html
Quote:A 57-year-old lawyer was accused of “unacceptable and misogynistic behaviour” after he sent a barrister half his age a LinkedIn message complimenting her on her “stunning picture”.
Alexander Carter-Silk was named and shamed on Twitter by 27-year-old human rights lawyer Charlotte Proudman who posted her reply to the message online.
The "offensive" private exchange she later published on Twitter:
Of course she is a batshit-insane feminist who believes complimenting her picture is patriarchal male domination rape assault (or something, to be honest I don't understand most of the word-salads feminists spew these days).
The truth is the exactly opposite: she is a misandrist using her female privilege to publicly shame male sexuality.
See what I did there?
Actual truth: Ugly feminist attention-whores to whole world that some beta complimented her.
Of course she was immediately met with a backlash, or in her world, sexist woman-hating harassment. Even though some of her critics were other women. Brietbart had a good article on this:
http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/...r-its-you/
Surprise. Turns out of course that she is a giant hypocrite:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...d-web.html
The offending picture? Well, take a look:
I had to do a double-take when they reported her age is 27. Really? I thought this was a typo, because she looks 37. And with that strange haircut, WNB.

Just wait 10 years. You'll see her begging for men to say such things about her.

RE: Angry Feminist Shames Lawyer Who Complimented Her
Quote:Miss Proudman said Mr Carter-Silk’s comments were particularly unacceptable because he made them in a workplace environment in his capacity as a senior solicitor.
She told the Mail: ‘I have received messages from LinkedIn before but never one from a senior partner at a solicitors’ firm, which is why I called it out. As a solicitor he has a duty to uphold the law, which includes sexual discrimination.’
Quote:He wrote: ‘I appreciate that this is probably horrendously politically incorrect but that is a stunning picture!!! You definitely win the prize for the best LinkedIn picture I have ever seen.’

Quote:sexual discrimination
Quote:She said the public interest in exposing sexism outweighed Mr Carter-Silk’s right to privacy, and repeated her demand for a public apology.
She added: ‘There is a continuum between receiving a sexist message on LinkedIn and being discriminated against in the workplace. ‘It has a huge, profound effect on women’s career opportunities, making them feel uncomfortable working in male-dominated places, for example in the law. That is why I try to nip it in the bud before it escalates.’
Quote:However, it emerged yesterday that the award-winning human rights barrister has commented on pictures of men on Facebook herself to praise their looks.
She also told female friends they looked ‘sexy’ and ‘stunning’ – the same word used by Mr Carter-Silk.
On the profile of a postgraduate student at Cambridge, where Miss Proudman is on sabbatical from her chambers to study for a PhD, she wrote: ‘Hot stuff!’, while under an image of a long-haired male friend, she wrote: ‘oooo lalala!’

Quote:She has been warned she has ‘ruined her career’ by criticising Mr Carter-Silk and speaking out about sexism. Franklin Sinclair, a partner in one of the country’s largest criminal law firms, warned she could be blacklisted.

Quote:The comments and lascivious stares from men have faded away the older I’ve gotten, leaving an understandable sense of relief. But alongside that is a slightly embarrassing feeling of insecurity that, with every year that goes by, I become more and more invisible to men.
...as much as I wish it didn’t, the thought of not being worth men’s notice bothers me. To my great shame, I assume I must look particularly good on the rarer days that I do get catcalled.

This glaring inconsistency uncovers what feminists and women are really about. The lawyer's great 'crime' = being old and ugly.

In this case, giving the typical disclaimer before making a manicured display of interest would only infuriate any feminist lawyercunt (my new favorite word thanks to Heartiste).
He came off as a pussy right from the git-go. He then apologized profusely after his public shaming.
In these situations one should always ask themselves, "What would Donald do?"
This whole episode is summed up perfectly from a recent post on Heartiste's site:
Quote:COTW winner Anonymous succinctly explains why there is a perception that women are treating beta males with more contempt than ever before.
Girls are cruelest to other girls. So as betas get more feminized…
Women are as revolted by effeminate, weak men as men are by morbidly obese women.
Um, what at all makes you think she cares much whether a man is unabashed and confident or not? She went out of her way to compliment men she liked the look of. So much cognitive dissonance in your post.
"Women are as revolted by effeminate, weak physically unattractive men as men are by [ physically unattractive] women."

Of course it's speculation, but I would bet if a man that she perceived to be high status wrote the message in an "unabashed and confident" manner it would not illicit such a nasty response.
The whole message oozed with timidity and groveling which is what likely set her off. The message was weak which obviously revolted her. The comparison between the event and the quote from Heartiste's site is sound and I stand by my analysis.

Unfortunately this creature probably was never going to practice in the real world anyway -- not when it's studying for a PhD in genital mutilation at university. That's the sort of thesis a perennial student picks, or one whose "career" is going to be funded by leftie thinktanks for the most part.
That said, she has definitely shot herself in the head professionally. Criminal Law and the upper echelons of the Bar are still pretty conservative circles, quite aside from whether men have the upper hand there. And more generally in the profession you're expected to know your fucking place as low man on the totem pole when first leaving law school to practice in the commercial world. This deliberate choice to burn someone senior in your own chosen profession, someone you didn't even know personally, is going to make you the equivalent of an Indian untouchable professionally.
The blacklisting will have nothing to do with her womanhood. Rather, everything to do with the fact she has demonstrated, by her own hand and quite deliberately, that she lacks the professional control and reserve a barrister needs in order to practice and be afforded the tremendous privilege that is immunity from defamation when cross-examining someone on the witness stand. Trying to rattle an opponent is a common and legitimate tactic in a court, and this one has just demonstrated right where her glass jaw lies: between her legs.
