I think you need to re-watch the video and/or think harder and/or cuck less. Putin never claimed any moral high ground vis a vis strategic air patrols. He simply pointed out the hypocrisy of America decrying Russia's air maneuvers when the Americans have been doing the exact same thing for much longer. Whether the Russians could have been doing it or not is completely irrelevant to the hypocrisy of the American complaining.

How convenient.

A military coalition led by Saudi Arabia who is actually a sponsor of terrorism worldwide. First steps in spreading islamism and forming the concept of a "world caliphate" through military force.

It'll be interesting to see if this is a play straight out of Mao's Guerrilla warfare. Isis would play the role of the guerrillas - small bands, highly mobile, causing terror amongst larger conventional armies.

Saudi Coalition provides legitimacy to political aims under the guise of Islamic stability in the region, though in actuality their political aims would be streamlined with ISIS - creation of an Islamic state across the region. Saudi Coalition would also provide the formal military to work in conjunction with the guerrillas.

The Saudis are in big trouble - being forced by the West to modernise, and having built up a lifestyle from oil money that they will very quickly be unable to maintain. They may never have a better opportunity to sweep across the Middle East.

This Islamic coalition gets even better.

The West sells military hardware, including fighters and bombers to the rich arabs. They also receive unlimited arms shipments from the Russian Federation.

They may not have a nuke or the ability to hit us like we can hit them but they do have sheer size and numbers on their side.

AIR FORCES of the international coalition led by the United States, have warned that their forces had not approached the aircraft to Syrian President to avoid clashes, Fars News Agency writes.


Moscow, Dec. 20 — RIA Novosti. Four Russian fighter aircraft will accompany the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad during his visit to Iran, according to Fars News , citing the Lebanese Edition of Al-Diyar.

"The command of an international coalition led by the United States, have warned that their forces had not approached the aircraft to Bashar Assad to avoid clashes," the paper says, adding that the route of the Syrian President will pass through Iraqi airspace.

Earlier Fars agency citing sources reported that the Syrian leader is expected to visit Tehran on a visit in late December or early January, but confirmation of this information.

Brilliant article. I think the biggest problem most people have with understanding geopolitics is a tendency to think in black and white and to separate the factions into clearly defined sides. Reality is always much more complicated, which the article describes very well.

This is kind of a long article but is another extremely educational read. It mainly highlights the discord several years ago between the US administration which was clearly pushing an agenda in Syria and some members of the military who had common sense and opposed the agenda. Unfortunately, more recently, these voices of dissent seem to have been hushed up as the US maintains its unwavering position on the Syrian issue.

The document showed, the adviser said, ‘that what was started as a covert US programme to arm and support the moderate rebels fighting Assad had been co-opted by Turkey, and had morphed into an across-the-board technical, arms and logistical programme for all of the opposition, including Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State. The so-called moderates had evaporated and the Free Syrian Army was a rump group stationed at an airbase in Turkey.’ The assessment was bleak: there was no viable ‘moderate’ opposition to Assad, and the US was arming extremists.

Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, director of the DIA between 2012 and 2014, confirmed that his agency had sent a constant stream of classified warnings to the civilian leadership about the dire consequences of toppling Assad. The jihadists, he said, were in control of the opposition. Turkey wasn’t doing enough to stop the smuggling of foreign fighters and weapons across the border. ‘If the American public saw the intelligence we were producing daily, at the most sensitive level, they would go ballistic,’ Flynn told me. ‘We understood Isis’s long-term strategy and its campaign plans, and we also discussed the fact that Turkey was looking the other way when it came to the growth of the Islamic State inside Syria.’ The DIA’s reporting, he said, ‘got enormous pushback’ from the Obama administration. ‘I felt that they did not want to hear the truth.’

Yeah. I walked in on a news report and did a double take when I heard "Islamist fighters and their families are being evacuated". What the fuck!

Who the hell evacuates these people? Oh thats right, we do.

Just when justice is about to be a dish served cold by Mother Russia, in comes the UN and coalition partners to evacuate the moderate beheaders and rapists & their enablers.

For peaceful Syrians to see this must be a kick in the teeth.


In other news Iraq is celebrating some sort of victory over IS. They and the media are claiming a victory when in fact all IS did was evacuate in the face of a more favourable tactic the US military deems, the surge.

Their commanders and hardcore fighters left before they were cut off, traveling to Syria most likely or back to Saudi Arabia and on to Afghanistan, Egypt or Libya. I'm not favouring Syria for their long term goals, what with the Russians blowing their nice partnership up in smoke and only time being their ally.

I reckon Libya and Afghanistan being their next port of call.

These guys won't be cornered until you make it unfeasible for them to get into countries and infest it. You'll corner them in the gulf states behind the billionaire arabs most likely.

China's special forces are actually pretty well trained for this and have lots of experience dealing with islamic fundamentalists. They successfully keep large parts of xinjiang in check especially when terrorists are constantly border jumping and some are even financed and equipped by Turkey/CIA interests. They constantly rotate in/out SF units in the region to get field experience.
