Most of the people are not refugees they are "opportunists". They are using the civil war as an excuse to flee to Europe. I've heard some reports from the translators that some of the so called "refugees" are from Algeria,Iraq, Libya etc. Yes Turkey is not a developed country but its not that much worse than say Greece. It's definitely more developed than EU members like Bulgaria, Romania, those who've visited Turkey before will concur. These refugees are trying to go to states with decent social welfare like Belgium,Germany, Denmark..... They want a free ride.

Dude, that has nothing to do with the topic at hand - which is that both Croatian and Serbian refugees have always behaved civilly abroad, and in no way similar to the ones currently invading our countries. The argument is that the current invaders should be repelled because they are not behaving like actual refugees, like our people did.

As for the war crimes, yes Croatia did a lot of awful stuff, thanks to our idiotic and fascist president Franjo Tuđman, and anyone who did it certainly deserves to be punished. But Serbia also did a lot of such stuff, and did it first. If you really want to compare, Serbia looks a lot worse in the spotlight.

You are letting petty nationalism lead you to your own destruction. Serbia owes no debt to 'Syrian' 'refugees', and neither does Croatia.

It has everything to do with the topic. You were implying that the two cases are different when in fact it is otherwise. Serbs from Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo were/are still refugees. They cannot go back to their homes, likewise that is the case for many Syrians and Iraqis. Go to Serbia and tell that. You will be put in your place very quickly. I have close relatives who were refugees, booted out of their homes in Northern Ireland because they were simply Catholics. They and thousands of others fled with an hour's notice ending up in Dublin with fuck all, their livlehoods, businesses and property gone. Half my classmates in school were also refugees. You and others biggest gripe on here is the fact that many of these refugees/migrants call them what you like are mainly Muslim and have a different skin colour to you.

The Serbs long demonized by the Western media are simply showing human values, that of decency, compassion and care. What will happen to these people now in Serbia, who knows but going back to their homes in war torn Syria and Iraq is out of the question for now, as long as the US and its allies fund and arm Islamofascist jihadis.

True they could be opportunist simply using a civil war as an "excuse" to escape to Europe for a free ride or they could truly be trying to get away from a war zone, bombs being dropped on their homes, bat shit crazy Islamist chopping off heads, throwing people off buildings, and other life threatening activities such as people burning......

And it is exactly because of those 'human values' that in 50 years ethnic Europeans will be a minority in their own homelands. If I have to choose between some abstract 'human values' to which the majority population does not actually subscribe at all (and endroses them out of brainwashing and fear of the consequences if they voice dissent) and the preservation of my co-ethnics and my culture, I would chose the latter every single time. As, I believe, will most people writing in this thread.

And they do that in the first safe country on the road.
So tell me, how much war zones and crazy Islamist militants are actually out there in Turkey?
And why are the refugees running away to Germany instead of staying in Greece if somehow magically the situation in Turkey has become so bad overnight?

Jesus, out of all places on the internet I would have never expected to meet a Serbian ultra-nationalist here... Laugh

I also think that it's true that the Croatian government is still obstructing the return of some Serbian refugees, that's horrible and needs to be fixed. But how is that different from the mass permanent expulsion of Croatian people from the Republika Srpska, which caused the share of the Croatian population to drop from 35% in 1991 to 7% in 2001? Again, it seems to me that both nations have suffered a lot and continue to suffer. I'm sad for the plight of your people, but in the Balkans, there is no such thing as a one-sided crime.

However, once again, it has nothing to do with the current refugee crisis or this topic. Both Croatian and Serbian people are legitimate war refugees and are doing what they can abroad. I haven't heard of western nations having any major problems with either of them. This is in comparison to the 'Syrian' 'refugees' who are causing enormous headaches for their host countries and need to be blocked and carefully monitored for compliance and assimilation if some are allowed.

A Croatian or Serbian abroad who commits an armed robbery will instantly be imprisoned and deported, but an Arab will be patted on the back and told 'no worries, it doesn't affect your chances for asylum'. Surely you can see a difference there.

In my personal opinion, I don't think that Hungary, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia have handled this migrant situation in the ideal way.

It's very clear that pretty much none of these migrants want to stay in Hungary, Serbia, Croatia or Slovenia. They simply just want to pass through as quick as possible in order to get to Germany, as the German government openly invited them in and incentivised them with promises of welfare and emergency public housing. Of course some of them also want to go to Sweden, the UK, France, Austria, Norway etc., but the majority of them want to reach Germany.

If I was the leader of Hungary/Serbia/Croatia/Slovenia, I wouldn't bother stopping the migrants at the borders and/or putting them in camps. I would deploy the police and possibly the military to guide them through the country via the shortest route possible, stopping only to take brief rests. Everybody has to keep moving, and nobody is allowed to stay. If any migrant displays any criminal or antisocial behaviour, or doesn't do what they are told, they are shot on the spot.

Once the migrants reach Germany, the German government is responsible for them, as they invited them into their country in the first place.

Just my random thoughts...

The problem is there's a very good chance they will have to deal with these people later, possibly years down the road, when there's many more of them. Trying to stop this now is the sane thing to do. It's always better to be proactive than purely reactive.

This would effectively keep the opportunists out of Eastern Europe, but the Hungarian government I think has enough foresight to know that, once allowed into the EU at all--Germany, Austria, France, wherever--they become everyone's problem.

The asylum-seekers are raping each other and raping Germans.

Quote:Meanwhile, the raping of German women by asylum seekers is becoming commonplace. Following are a few select cases just from 2015:

On September 11, a 16-year-old girl was raped by an unidentified "dark-skinned man speaking broken German" close to a refugee shelter in the Bavarian town of Mering. The attack occurred while the girl was walking home from the train station.

On August 13, police arrested two Iraqi asylum seekers, aged 23 and 19, for raping an 18-year-old German woman behind a schoolyard in Hamm, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia.

On July 26, a 14-year-old boy was sexually assaulted inside the bathroom of a regional train in Heilbronn, a city in southwestern Germany. Police are looking for a "dark skinned" man between the ages of 30 and 40 who has an "Arab appearance." Also on July 26, a 21-year-old Tunisian asylum seeker raped a 20-year-old woman in the Dornwaldsiedlung district of Karlsruhe. Police kept the crime secret until August 14, when a local paper went public with the story.

On June 9, two Somali asylum seekers, aged 20 and 18, were sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for raping a 21-year-old German woman in Bad Kreuznach, a town in Rhineland-Palatinate, on December 13, 2014.

On June 5, a 30-year-old Somali asylum seeker called "Ali S" was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison for attempting to rape a 20-year-old woman in Munich. Ali had previously served a seven-year sentence for rape, and had been out of prison for only five months before he attacked again. In an effort to protect the identity of Ali S, a Munich newspaper referred to him by the more politically correct "Joseph T."

On May 22, a 30-year-old Moroccan man was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison for attempting to rape a 55-year-old woman in Dresden. On May 20, a 25-year-old Senegalese asylum seeker was arrested after he attempted to rape a 21-year-old German woman at the Stachus, a large square in central Munich.

On April 16, a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Iraq was sentenced to three years and ten months in prison for raping a 17-year-old girl at festival in the Bavarian town of Straubing in August 2014. On April 7, a 29-year-old asylum seeker was arrested for the attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl in the town of Alzenau.

On March 17, two Afghan asylum seekers aged 19 and 20 were sentenced to five years in prison for the "particularly abhorrent" rape of a 21-year-old German woman in Kirchheim, a town near Stuttgart, on August 17, 2014.

On February 11, a 28-year-old asylum seeker from Eritrea was sentenced to four years in prison for raping a 25-year-old German woman in Stralsund, along the Baltic Sea, in October 2014.

On February 1, a 27-year-old asylum seeker from Somalia was arrested after attempting to rape women in the Bavarian town of Reisbach.

On January 16, a 24-year-old Moroccan immigrant raped a 29-year-old woman in Dresden.

Dozens of other cases of rape and attempted rape — cases in which police are specifically looking for foreign perpetrators (German police often refer to them as Südländer, or "southerners") — remain unresolved. Following is a partial list just for August 2015:

On August 23, a "dark skinned" man attempted to rape a 35-year-old woman in Dortmund. On August 17, three male "southerners" attempted to rape a 42-year-old woman in Ansbach. On August 16, a male "southerner" raped a woman in Hanau.

On August 12, a male "southerner" attempted to rape a 17-year-old woman in Hannover. Also on August 12, a male "southerner" exposed himself to a 31-year-old woman in Kassel. Police say a similar incident occurred in the same area on August 11.

On August 10, five men of "Turkish origin" attempted to rape a girl in Mönchengladbach. Also on August 10, a male "southerner" raped a 15-year-old girl in Rinteln. On August 8, a male "southerner" attempted to rape a 20-year-old woman in Siegen.

On August 3, a "North African" raped a seven-year-old girl in broad daylight in a park in Chemnitz, a city in eastern Germany. On August 1, a male "southerner" attempted to rape a 27-year-old woman in downtown Stuttgart.

Meanwhile, parents are being warned to look after their daughters. Police in the Bavarian town of Mering, where a 16-year-old-girl was raped on September 11, have issued a warning to parents not to allow their children to go outside unaccompanied. They have also advised women not to walk to or from the train station alone because of its proximity to a refugee shelter.

In the Bavarian town of Pocking, administrators of the Wilhelm-Diess-Gymnasium have warned parents not to let their daughters wear revealing clothing in order to avoid "misunderstandings" with the 200 Muslim refugees housed in emergency accommodations in a building next to the school. The letter said:

"The Syrian citizens are mainly Muslim and speak Arabic. The refugees have their own culture. Because our school is directly next to where they are staying, modest clothing should be worn in order to avoid disagreements. Revealing tops or blouses, short shorts or miniskirts could lead to misunderstandings."

A local politician quoted by Die Welt newspaper said:

"When Muslim teenage boys go to open air swimming pools, they are overwhelmed when they see girls in bikinis. These boys, who come from a culture where for women it is frowned upon to show naked skin, will follow girls and bother them without their realizing it. Naturally, this generates fear."

The increase in sex crimes in Germany is being fueled by the preponderance of Muslim males among the mix of refugees/migrants entering the country.

Geez, 35 million is insane. This crisis has escalated far greater than I originally anticipated.

Well, I guess that the muslims in Middle Eastern and North African countries know that if they are ever going to rape and pillage Europe, it's going to be now or never.

I can only see either one of two things happening in the next 3 to 5 years:

1) Western and Central Europe is taken over by Muslims. Natives are forced to convert to Islam or are killed. Western and Central Europe becomes another version of the Middle East, full of poverty and war, with no existence of western culture and morals.

2) Western and Central European nations fight back against the invasion, and the largest genocide in the history of mankind occurs.

Whatever happens, the results will be catastrophic.

Good point being made there, its another reason why Totalitarian regimes in the past preferred atheism or abolishing the prior religion. The concept of god is built on an absolute premise. Relativism is promoted because then the dialetic truth can forever be manipulated. 2+2=5 so to speak.

These are the dangers of teaching relativism to be an absolute truth. Its contradictory and it leads to a moral vacuum.

That's 7% of the total EU population. 7. Motherfucking. Percent. And when you consider that the majority of them will end up not just in Western Europe, but in the most populous cities, it's probably more like a extra 30% of London and Paris's populations.

I've wanted out of the UK for a long time, but this really is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I'm not even going to stick around to see how this one turns out, because by then it may be increasingly difficult to leave.

Yup - and it's not as if that comes as a surprise for anyone following the Swedish situation. I recently had a talk with a girl from Malmo. She was aware of the Muslims causing problems, but when I told her that Sweden is leading in the EU rape statistics by at least 300%, she was amazed to hear that. For the average people they never see those cases and the media lets it all disappear.

I am afraid that this is just the beginning - a lot more of this will be happening in the near future and it will be much worse than in Sweden.
