Very similar to a shotgun. Its all instinct really, a sort of movement like a punch. As soon as you try and aim it, it goes wrong.

My uncle is world champion bow hunter. He has DVD's from the 80s and 90s taking down Yukon moose and grizzly at close range. Definitely a purist sport.

I work in sales, so I drive around a lot in my territory. What I noticed is that at almost every supermarket, even in the smallest town in the middle of nowhere stand some Arab or African guy and try to sell some magazines or papers. Maybe they are the skilled workers we need so much.

This whole skilled worker stuff is crap. Look at most migrants in Germany, they preform lower then the average German. Still the myth is there. And when my knowledge about the market is right, its supply and demand. The wages will rise when there are less workers. Next thing, that migrants should solve the economical issues because of a declining society is nothing less then modern slavery. We use them for our demands. We take them away from their cultures, their countries, their homes, their families, their economy to please our own greedy demands. We don't see them as humans, just as cheap workers. Unfortunately the life quality of the average citizen do not improve. Look at the slavery in the USA, brought in millions of blacks and the white owners in the south needed to relay on them instead to do reforms. Same goes for south Africa. How long can you hold them down until they realize that they outnumber you?
When you want a modern example, look at Switzerland. 25 % foreigners, many of them in high positions. Did the live of the average Swiss person improve? No. But Swiss did the same, focus on manual labour and import managers from foreign countries. Instead of rise their own people. Ridiculous how the boss of Mercedes said, those refugees will boost the german economy. As far as I know Mercedes did hire less then 10 of them. Same goes for other big German companies. Of course they pick a few skilled ones. The social problems, the long term effects are not of their concern.

"If there is a bow shop close to you with a range go there and they will usually let you try out different bows. They can also tell you your draw length too. When your trying them out don't go over 60# draw weight. I have a PSE Xforce but haven't used it much in the last 5 years. Matthews is a good brand of bow as well as Bow-tech"

Agreed! I've done some reading on the Great War. Watched some films to do with it too. Bloody depressing events and insanity. By the way, as you may already know, there's a picture out there of a young Adolph Hitler cheering in a crowd in 1914 at the beginning of the war. I think its tragic how people were so gung ho about a major war and then ended up crippled mentally, or physically, or dead. Shell shock.


I read part of Heinz Guderian's Achtung Panzer published in 1937. His descriptions of the type of warfare, trench warfare, were not very emotional but spoke of the waste of soldiers and materials on attacking basically what amounted to, in my words, small fortresses with soft units. The sheer amount of men killed in the Somme or Yypres, Verdun, Paschendale is horrific. Insane really. Thousands upon thousands for practically no ground taken horrifies me.

We should study it. I think everyone should try to accumulate knowledge on the World Wars.
