"i need to get laid"

i was in a dry spell and searching for ways to end it. I came across a blog post where Roosh wrote "i would even start saying 'i need to get laid' to my friend and like magic i got laid"

the same thing happened to me. I started saying it outloud. the next day an opportunity presented itself. a few days later the drought was over.

I wasnt content with just that though, so when i woke up i told myself I need to get laid by another chick. a few hours later i get three messages(two on ok cupid, one a text message) and it looks like ill be nailing the text message girl tonight.

So if you are in a dry spell just tell yourself "i need to get laid" and the universe will reward you with pussy on a platter

Just got out of one myself, and now momentum is building fast! Suddenly approaching became way easier.

That said, saying "I need to get laid" to myself is a constant, even when I've been on a tear.

yeah actually saying it prevents you from shoving out of your mind or looking for distractions. It makes you forces you have a weakness and consequently makes you work like a madman to get rid of it.

I concur. My friend gave me a copy of the DVD when it came out. For those that haven't seen it, here are the Cliff notes:

1) I think, therefore I am.
2) Vocalize what you want and the universe will somehow "hear" it, and you will get it.

The first point I agree with, but of course, nothing new there. The second is new age nonsense.

That need has to be realistic and urgent, I think that's what most people missed about The Secret

This morning, I wrote on a card: I must fuck. And I was speaking it out loud. In the evening, went out with a friend, who brought two more friends. Isolated the female friend, made out with her on the dancefloor, then she basically suggested going to my place. A short cab ride home (logistics!), SNL and back to the club and hour later. Told the friends that we left to get some food...
