Howdy Forums,

I am planning to hit up 2 of the above cities before heading to Stockholm and on to Ibiza/Pamplona. I was thinking Tallinn and Helsinki, but after reading the thread on Bucharest from RodneyStrong and hearing from a friend/the thread on Budapest i have become undecided. Any one have any tipping points in favor of these cities? Keep in mind itll be midsummer and a few days for each city.

Id like to base the decision on quality of nightlife, quality of girls/freakiness/ease, and english prevalence. I assume there will be culture and things to see during the day anywhere so that is a non factor, unless it is a total shithole.

Also on another note, has anyone done the Viking Cinderella party cruise out of Stockholm? Id like to hear some feedback on that cause i was thinking of going on a sunday or monday. I hear it is pretty great.

I would like to recommend Tallinn but I see so much conflicting reports on the baltic countries with regards to picking up girls. When I went there it was strictly for work but left with a longing to return to acquaint myself with the ladies. Don't know what to think.

Tried it some ten years ago and it's still a hit with the younger generation. Just be prepared for a lot of really drunk young folks (18-20yo). Don't expect too much in the 20-25 age category.

Personally, as a Swede I don't recommend Stockholm. It's a tough market to begin with and being so international removes some of the "exotic" points an outsider would get from visiting Gothenburg, Malmö or Öland/Gotland.

Instead of spending just a few days in each city, I would pick one (or more, depending on your trip lenght) and spend 1-2 weeks at least.
It takes a while to find some new friends, girls, places to pull, etc. so why would you give that up just when you found it, only to start from scratch in another city, and do this several times all over again?

Just got back from Tallinn and am preparing a comprehensive data sheet.

Awesome place to sarge. Night game is on the wane tho so you will have to day game the shit out of the place. Women are very receptive to day game tho.

Also keep in mind that there's not much happening on Sunday thru Tuesday.

I would recommend hitting up Helsinki on those days and Tallinn on the rest.

How are places like Gothenburg in the summer? And i wouldnt mind the cruise because im only in my lower 20s anyway, so seems like a good place to score?

And i see your point of staying in one spot but that makes my decision a bit harder. It seems, from other threads, the girls in Bucharest are great, Budapest has a good summer outdoor nightlife, and Tallinn/Finland are the easier places to get girls. Are there any serious problems with any of these cities or maybe an english deficiency?

Better than Sthlm I say (during the summer that is). If you really want that cruise there's no similar option on the west coast however, but it's basically like going to a Mediterranean party resort except you're on a boat.

I recommend The Dancing Eesti Hostel in Tallinn. Cheapest around and really good for its price, situated bang in the middle and near some clubs which attract sluts. It sometimes gets groups of hot Polish, Lithuanians etc.

I second Budapest, it has a great summer nightlife scene but english speaking girls may be a problem.

I'm in Budapest now. The girls are hot. They're friendly. But language barrier is a significant issue for sure. Still here another 4 days. Will get back to the board.

Keep at it! I'd love a data sheet/trip report as Budapest is another of those places in the east in my sights.

I was in Budapest a couple of weeks ago for a week.

I found the general culture to be very Jersey shore-ish. Most of the men had have big gym muscles, shaved head, fake tan. Most of the women had lots of makeup, heels, very well dressed. And that was during the day. I've also never seen so many women who dress in hells, short shorts or nice summer dresses with slim bodies, who from far away look mid to late 20's, only to see that they are in their late 30's or even 40's. I want to marry a Hungarin chick because I know she's going to stay hot.

I talked with the dude at the hostel; he said that in the last 6 months, there was some new reality show in Hungary that had a viewship of like 2 or 3 million. In a country with 10 million people. Fits the jersey shore stereotype I've been seeing. Oh, and only place I've seen outside of NA where you have stretch limos and hummers with people hanging out of the sunroof going 'Wooo!' to strangers as they drive by.

Receptiveness of women is venue dependent; lots of Exchange/Erasmus students there, and lots of americans as well compared to other EE cities.

Check out Bed Beach Obuda island on Fri/Sat for the hottest chicks I've ever seen in my life. Literally 3 out of 4 women there were complete draw droppers. They were cold as ice to me though, as it is your stereotypical high-end club. For a very foreigner friendly place (less hot chicks, more age variance as well) check out Cha Cha Cha on Margaret Island. Other places I went to were either dead or filled with Exchange students.

Mho - I have been to Budapest 3x but I was with a native girl who I was dating. I did not get a chance to do the club thing, seemed like she wanted to keep me away from it.

How would you rate the chances of picking up there?

If you have game, shouldn't be a problem. I'd say it's roughly the same as other EE cities, find the ones that speak English, and you should be alright. It's the same story; not enough guys there, passes the Roosh Busted Dudes' test, not everybody speaks perfect English, go the right places they are very receptive, etc. That's the best way I can describe it without knowing more about your game, you style, your look etc.

Yeah, girls here are pretty hot. They really take care of themselves. Their body's are fucking amazing. Faces are here or there. Night life is good but very spread out. A pain to get around and find where you're going. If you go to normal venues, your odds are pretty decent as long as you find a chick who speaks decent English. Agree about Bed Beach. One of the five best clubs I've ever seen in my life in terms of hottness/quantity. I didn't get harsh blow outs, but didn't exactly get very far with them either.

Going to try again tonight.

Anything going on in Buda in August, like mid August? Or am I wasting my time there. I will be in Berlin and was thinking of a good Thurs-Sunday spot for a trip. Ideas?
