A strange series of events led to a 25-years-old Brit expat being thrown in jail, in Cambodia.

The guy worked at a (locally famous) guesthouse in Cambodia (in Kampot), and after a night of partying at the guesthouse, made out with a woman... Later that night, the woman, drunk, falls and hurts herself, hurting her wrist or something... (bear in mind that this guesthouse is on a rough spot of terrain, easy to stumble and fall...)

The woman comes back in a daze, still drunk and somewhat bloodied, to the guesthouse-hostel... her friends see her, immediately assume she has been raped, call the police, and the young Brit is immediately thrown in jail...

But, the guesthouse owner, backed by the video recordings from the security cameras, confirms that the woman fell on her own, by stumbling on the uneven grounds... the Brit is (very probably) innocent, but still, he has his pic in cuffs on the dailymail! And the police don't want to loose face so they keep him locked up!!

This article published online by the dailymail, is damning for the young expat, first presenting him as a kind of monster: you'll have to read all the way to the end of the article, to understand that, in all likelyhood, the Brit is innocent...

‘Afterwards they were walking back to the bar and because she was a bit tipsy she fell over and hit her head and injured her hand,' Mr Miles said.

‘Nick helped her up and escorted her back to the bar, but she continued on to her room while he stayed at the bar.

‘Then she returned and because her friends knew she and Nick had gone off together to the river and then saw her injuries and how confused she was, they put two and two together - believing she had been raped.

‘They went with her to the hospital and the police were called in. They took statements from the girls, as witnesses, and then it all got worse because the British Embassy became involved.'

Mr Miles said that when he learned the truth of what happened and the CCTV footage backed up Mr Laycock's story, he showed it to the woman's friends and they realised a mistake had been made.

‘The young woman involved also saw the CCTV footage and understood that she had injured herself in a fall,' he added.

‘They all asked the police to have their statements handed back to them, but the police, not wanting to lose face after making an arrest, refused to give the statements back.

You can always tell when these crackpot media sites have it out for the man when they choose an extremely unflattering picture at the top of the article. Every time. When its a media darling or a rich kid, they often opt for the yearbook picture completely unrelated to the arrest.


Then, the entire article read like clickbait. It was like you said - you had to scroll PAST the image of the guy in handcuffs to find out that he didn't actually "violently rape" a woman.


With the flood of advertising on the page, you'd legitimately have to scroll down the equivalent of 3 legal-sized pages to find out that it was a false report. In this day I'm beginning to think the media sites are just as damning as the woman who makes the false accusation. They both should be held accountable.

In some ways I don't feel sorry for him. Being in Asia and giving white bitches the time of day should be a crime punishable by law, in my opinion. At the very least, it sometimes leads to the presentation of a Darwin Award, as this British man found to his misfortune.

You can't underestimate how easy the western girls are while in the east. They're literally starved for attention, so if you so much as look at them their panties basically drop.

But still, 95% or so aren't even the least bit attractive. So it's not even worth your time to look twice.

By the way, this story made us aware of a good party place in Cambodia: this hostel, which looks like a well-known spot for hard drinkers and young, wild party-goers... (and so, quite obviously, women who go there, go there for a reason, and it's not birdwatching... they go there to have alcohol and sex... but, still complain when they get both!?)

Update: it does look like the Brit guy was innocent! So he got named, humiliated, thrashed, on international media (notably the dailymail), for nothing!...

Let's look at her disgusting behaviour:

She goes all the way down to some remote, famous, party-hostel in countryside Cambodia.

It can only be for one reason: hooking up with young testosterone-fueled backpackers, smoking, binging, having sex.

So, she gets what she came looking for: booze and sex. On top of that, sex with a not-bad-looking, quite fit British young man. She shouldn't be complaining. But she does!

Either she was too drunk to fully remember (shame on her in this case, drinking one-self's to oblivion at such a young age, being a girl), or, more probably, she did remember, but felt sorry because her 2 (less beautiful I bet) girlfriends traveling with her got no sex that night, are jealous, and would call her a slut: so, she opts for crying rape! And crushes this dude's life!

Consequence: she puts a whole family to hell... Because, imagine the day of this family (of this accused British dude):

Mister and mrs Laycock (seniors) wake up 7 AM in London, drink their British tea while looking at the morning news, and.... here he is: their son-(or brother-cousin-friend etc), in handcuffs in Cambodia, being called by the dailymail, a violent rapist, on front page!!

The damages to this family are huge. This dude, also, will live forever on google as a "violent rapist"...

So, this girl who made the false claims, should be brought to justice and jailed. For months.
