In some ways I don't feel sorry for him. Being in Asia and giving white bitches the time of day should be a crime punishable by law, in my opinion. At the very least, it sometimes leads to the presentation of a Darwin Award, as this British man found to his misfortune.

One of the lamest guys I ever came across in LA was a decent looking white guy who spoke decent Mandarin and who had lived in Shanghai for a year. He told me he never got laid once - I still can't get my head around that one...

Dating Asian-Americans (or Asian-Canadians) based in China is pretty lame in my book too. The native woman are a lot hotter and more pleasant in general.

I get pissed off when people say I should go to Location X because there's a lot of British people there. I reply with something like, "Why would I want to be around British people? I grew up around them, I'd rather get to know people from other cultures". This one reason why I never went backpacking, I don't see the point of visiting foreign countries and then mostly interacting with westerners.
