Single DNA molecule could store information for a million years
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/scienc...59560.html

Wow, the implications of this are mind-boggling. You could have your entire Family history literally stored in your DNA. You could probably store entire libraries of media in your DNA for playback, who knows. Instead of physical media, you could use a person's body as a mole to smuggle sensitive information in and out of businesses/countries and who knows what else. This is some next-level sci-fi shit here.

Very interesting. They don't seem to say much about how the data is stored. So they use A's,C's,T's and G's rather than 0's and 1's, but in what medium?

"Stored in glass" What is stored in glass? What material are they using?

I hate science journalism. Just give me the damn name of the journal and publication. Better yet, just publish the whole journal in an article.

It took me a bit of google-fu, but here is the actual abstract.

Wikipedia has some nice introductory notes on the subject:

I'm guessing that since C is always bound with G, and A with T, that one pair represents 1 and the other 0.

The 'glass' is silica (I think).

I didn't get it at first look until I read the link, but yeah this is opening the door for some serious Assassin's Creed/Matrix (I know kung-fu) type shit and beyond.

The information is already inside you...that's what all world religions talk about when they say how the Creator God(s) or Heaven is within you.

What they want to do now is destroy & replace with it their own evil garbage. Nothing less than a 100% demonic agenda.

Eugenics, bio hacking and else Those subjects deserves a thread but sadly those highly specific ones don't live that long

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral
