Seems Sharon Stone is trying to attention whore one last time. She'll keep trying of course, but no one's putting her back on a magazine cover unless she commits a major crime.

Here's an excerpt:

You got too old to act like a desirable woman and, instead of having other qualities that would allow you to still have value, you had nothing else to offer. You were a raving bitch to everyone, thinking looks would last forever and thought men were nice to you because you were a good and interesting person.

Was her lesson learned?

Your almost 60 Sharon. Its ok to have wrinkles. Its looks stranger if you are that age and dont have any.

She's attractive - for her age. I mean, if you had to be married to a 57 year old woman (say, if you were a 67 year old guy who married a hot woman 10 years his junior at age 40, and then grew old together), she would be one of the better ones.

But, no way a 57 year old - even a formerly beautiful one - holds a candle to a garden-variety 27 year old.

When I see these photos of 57 year old Sharon Stone, it just makes me glad that I am a man.

As long as a man takes care of himself physical (eats healthy, works out and avoids too much alcohol) and financially, he can easily remain attractive well into his 50s and beyond.

Under lights that bright, and that close up, most people are going to look bad. And while the photos in the article are pretty shopped, I'd bet in reality she looks better than the vast majority of women her age. So she gets a rating of WB from me.

With that said, there are 2 reasons she's fallen from grace in Hollywood and they aren't due to her age.
1. There's only one scene we remember from Basic Instinct. The leg crossing scene. That's it. The reason it was so noteworthy is because there was a bit of a nudity drought in Hollywood in the few years preceding Basic Instinct, and to flash a neatly trimmed bush caught everyone by surprise. And then there was Casino where she chopped off her hair and played the worst wife in the History of the silver screen. So Casino was a noteworthy performance, but she had already been drifting around Hollywood for 16 years at that point. If she had any talent she would have had her big break much earlier.
2. In her three most noteworthy performances: Total Recall, Basic Instinct, and Casino, she plays rather difficult and unpleasant women. Attractive they are, but not very likable. A little internet research shows that she's an exceedingly difficult person to work with. Her list of demands while on set is several pages long. And when you've got bona fide A-list celebrities who are considered absolutely delightful to work with (i.e. Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, etc) why would someone put up with her shit? If you need to hire a late 50s, blonde spinster, why deal with her when you could just as easily hire Ellen Degeneres (who apparently has a stellar reputation.)
