Cape Town ticks a lot of boxes, it's an incredibly beautiful city with an amazing setting. I've been there a couple of times for a month at a time early in the year which is a great time to go, you really can't beat driving over table mountain, heading to one of the Clifton Beaches and relaxing in the shade on a sun lounger.

It ticks loads of boxes; great food, great beaches, really beautiful women (tonnes of models head there early in the year for photo shoots), loads to do unlike some of these boring ass Colombian cities and actually pretty cheap too.

The downsides to me are; the water is freezing, the crime (usually just muggings but you do hear about a lot worse) and it can be tough to meet locals.

Here is mine, based on a fat wallet. Chosen for holidays and work, so year round living.

1. Perth, Australia

Out of all Australias cities, its the best kept secret. It does not have the greatest nightlife and its a small city compared to world cities, but this place is fucking amazing to live in. There is almost no unemployment, crime or traffic. The weather is warm 10 months of the year. It has some of the most pristine beaches in the world. The fishing is spectacular, there is a ton of stuff to do outdoors. Its right on Asias doorstep, with Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore being only a 4 hour flight. I have seen a fair bit of the world now, and this place is me.

Work wise, this is the place to be. Close to Asia, but there is so much opportunity here its scary. Only disadvantage is that its a little remote and nightlife is a tad limited, but sufficient for someone who travels a lot and is not too concerned about it as their only option.

2. Geneva, Switzerland

These sons of bitches pay 13% tax. And corporate tax is 14%. Not to mention private banking systems that help you hide everything. Throw in one of the highest standards of living in the world, Geneva is one pretty decent place to be living and doing business if you need to settle in Europe. Language barrier is a bit of a problem, but that can be rectified quickly with some effort. Safe, little poverty, lots of history and very central in Europe. Fast trains can get you into France, Germany, Australia and Italy very quickly. Short flights under two hours and you are in Eastern Europe or the Mediterranean.

3. Buzios, Brazil

2 hours from Rio. Great little town with fantastic beaches, great food and restaurants. Packs out with Argies some parts of the year. I would get myself two Rio party sluts and spend a few weeks there just chilling. I would go there to unwind. I have been there 4 times in the last 7 years and I am already looking at buying property there. New property laws in Brazil coming soon and when they do Im probably going to bite the bullet. Rio is a great place, but 2-3 nights there is more than enough on either end of a holiday for me.

4. Hvar, Croatia

Awesome in season. Great nightlife with great beaches, and its cheap as hell. Its growing too. I will buy a palace there. This is where me and my boys will hang. Throwing money at eastern european bishes while we drink, snort and fuck everything we can get out hands on. This is where you go to celebrate anything. Celebrate a friends divorce, a good year business wise, etc. You go there to party, nothing else. And what better place for an aging man to party than in Eastern Europe, where the flange cares not for aging men so long as they have a big wallet?

5. Montreal, Canada

Beautiful women. Friendly people. Booming economy (particularly my sector) that is set to continue for years. Great food, fucking incredible nightlife. This is a place built for a hedonist who does not mind the cold. Also, rural life in Canada is something else and I could think of worse ways to kill a week than to spend it camping or fishing there. Hunting and fishing is top notch, and if you need to get away, you dont need to go far to be in the middle of no where for a few days.

Traffic is a nightmare. The weather is horrible in winter, and because South Africa wont put it into another time zone the sun rises really late in winter. Its also becoming very expensive, and the people are not the friendliest either.

Then there is the crime.

Tons of other places that will provide what Cape Town does at a cheaper price, in a safer environment, with better weather.

I went to Cape Town on business for 10 days once. Cape town is beautiful and exotic place. Amazing views, great beaches, and good nightlife. I remember thinking, that I could definitely live here (unlike the rest of South Africa).

Not only that, but you will find gorgeous African girls, mixed girls (think mulatto skin with green eyes), and stunning tall, blonde Dutch girls. In fact, there are a few major modelling agencies that have offices in Cape Town because of the talent.

If it weren't so long ago, I breakout a data sheet, but I have long thought about going back. The only reason I don't is because racial issues are still very, very prominent there. Not a great place for game.

But, Cape Town....it's a beautiful place with beautiful people.

Montreal is a great city and everything you said is very true except Quebec's (and Montreal's) economy is not booming, and hasn't been for many years. It's part of my job to know provincial economies. I can give you countless references.

Also, the business environment in Montreal caters to European and Quebecois businesses/people, so it's not ideal for everyone even if the economy is booming.

Montreal is great for Joie de vivre. No doubt.

There is a massive culture difference between white, black and coloured women. Coloured is actually a definition of race in South Africa, and it consists of people who are half white and black. Its not an offensive term there, its a classification of ethnicity. Dealing with those women and people differs greatly between those subsets, to the point that there are different languages and customs!!!!

Then there is the issue of crime. Its one of the most dangerous cities on the planet, but unlike Rio, the crime is in the affluent areas as much as its in the poorer squatter camps. In South Africa, an average of 20 000 murders are reported, while 50 000 rapes a year are reported.

The wealth you see is because of a massive disparity in income. It makes Brazil look tame in comparison.

Now the other things to consider are weather. The water is ice cold, and when those winds come through in winter you know all about it. It rains in winter too, and as I mentioned before, the sun rises late.

Its also expensive, very expensive by South African standards. You are paying European prices for property now and things like security costs push your living costs up. Travel is not going to happen unless you buy or rent a car, and driving on those roads requires the kinds of street smarts you probably dont have. A few wrong turns and you are in some bad places, and thats if you manage to deal with the high speeds and taxis which are the local mafia!

Services, as in public services, are also terrible.

Dont even get me started on STD rates and AIDS there. You wont want to stick your dick in anything bro.

Its a beautiful place, and the city has a bit to offer. Nightlife is not bad, and South African women are not bad looking women. The African women are easy because they are dirt poor generally. The coloured women are a lot more conservative.

All true, but having been and knowing people who live there and have moved there - I get why someone would absolutely love Cape Town.

Switzerland would not be a choice for women. Its purely for business and tax reasons. Its also not the worst place to live for short periods of time as a base in Europe. If money is not a problem, women wont be either. Cant always be all play, and while there are better options in that regard throughout Europe (tons in fact) its a good place business wise.

As for Montreal, again, its a base for Canada. Im in big mining, and while thats further east and north, I could base myself out of pretty much any major Canadian city. So the decision to go there is girls and lifestyle, but also the close proximity to the east coast of the USA and supply channels from there.

Those French Canadian girls make my loins sing!

If its outright partying and holiday? Considering you are aiming for two months? Brazil, no second thoughts.

If I was to choose a place to live for 6-7 months of the year, it would be Australia. My preference is Perth, although Sydney is a world city now. I would even consider Melbourne, which many prefer to the rat race that is Sydney.

I have a friend that lives in Geneva (brazilian grl). From what I see on her pics online Geneva is highly diverse with girls from all over the world living there. Nightlife looks good too. Her and her friends put up pics weekly at clubs and bars that look good to me. Even still im not sure id wanna live there though.

I lol when people worry about crime in Cape Town. I've lived here for 23 years and have never been hijacked, mugged or threatened in anyway. Naturally there is crime but not half as bad as other cities in south africa. Summer here pretty much beats most places. The weather is hot, yet not too humid and unpleasant like asia. I can guarantee you that you will be amazed at the abundance of super tight and fine women on clifton/camps bay/lllandudno beaches on a hot day. Walk through the library at the university and you will be blown away.

Race plays a role though and generally white guys go for white girls and visa versa. I'm pretty sure girl's would be more open to foreign brothers though. I was at this rather exclusive beach the one time and this super hot model looking girl was there with some dark guy that I overheard had a multi million dollar apartment and spend half the year in cape town and the other half somewhere in the northern hemisphere.

Despite the amazingly beautiful women it's not that easy to game them. It is quite cliquey and everyone basically knows everyone. Whenever I meet some girl out and we end up adding each other on FB chances are we'll have a few mutual friends. Taxi's are rather expensive, I never catch them, but clubs are decent value. I usually party with very wealthy guys and they take the tab. Table service at high end clubs with class hard tac such as black label, belvedere plus mixes and red bulls hits us at R5k. Divide that by 7 so roughly $700 dollars to entertain a table of 7 for a night out.

I wouldn't really advise cape town for the budget traveller like I would the philippines but if you have cash you can live grand style here. As everywhere in the world the hotter the women the harder they are to bang and the same applies in cape town. I've had times when i've smashed 4 new girls in a week but definitely not top notch material. If you had to come down here with a few friends and have cash to spend on a penthouse and table service everynight I'm fairly sure you'd be banging some fine ass.

Lol Dash is one hell of an armchair traveler. The OP said 5 estates worldwide so this is going to be something like 2 to 3 months in each place so it's hardly what I would call living in a place. For the record, I don't think I'd like to live in Cape Town full time but it's great for a one or two month visit.

Another point when most people talk about living in a place, they actually mean living like a local, having a job with a local salary, having to commute and all that rat race bs but if you roll in with a passive income you don't have to deal with any of that so it's not relevant. I've lived in Cape Town probably close to five months over different trips and you'll have never heard me complaining about the traffic because I was still in bed whilst all the locals were heading off to work.

I've never been to Capetown but it is certainly high on the list of places I want to see. Now if someone said Johannesburg then I would say that they were nuts.
