Discovered this resource some time ago and felt it should be posted on here due to the many diverging opinions on the availability of girls in different parts of the US.

What it boils down to is that no matter where you are in the US there's going to be a higher ratio of men in the 18-30 age category. It evens out when people turn 40 to the advantage of (straight) men but I guess the people on here aren't interested in gaming those age categories anyhow.

Your best bets seems to be (just going by numbers) New York City and Boston.

Women marry younger. So there are more single male 18-year-olds than single female 18-year-olds.

Women tend to stay in small towns for family reasons, while men migrate to cities for careers.

I remember seeing this map a few years ago. Interesting, but still missing information to be useful. If there was a weight element to this map it might be more relevant. If you're planning to move you might want to know where more attractive/datable women are rather than simply where "available" women are.

Also, the article states that "prime" marriage years is up to 44. Doubt it.

A thought that crosses my mind all the time. I think a study on the average "market time" of a single woman would be very interesting.

There is no doubt Southern California has fly girls.

The problem is the competition levels are the highest in the country.

Hence, no arbitrage.

It's kind of like overpaying for a good bottle of wine.

Sure its good, but in the end, you feel you should have shopped around a little and gotten a equal or better bottle for cheaper.

Or like surfing a good crowded wave with good surfers.

If you would have driven down the beach, you could have got a equal or better wave with less people and more kooks in the water. Or no one out.

So the further into hickville you go the better your odds, might not find them full of teeth but they'll be available lol. West Coast blows, best place to live worst place to pick up. I guess I'm gonna have to vacation more on the east coast.

Notice how the red dots very roughly mirror the African-American population in the United States. Places like Memphis, New Orleans, STL, Cleveland, DC, Baltimore, NYC, all places with a large AA population. And most of the west coast cities with large blue dots have a very small AA population.

Of course there are contradictions, like Detroit and Houston, but i wonder if this has some correlation.
