Returning to London (where i grew up) would just be fucking depressing. The London of the 80s and early 90s (my childhood), is all but gone. The white working class which formed the backbone of the place moved out, and now it's just a globalised crime carnival, with ZERO cohesive culture to bind it. I grew up probably in the last gen of kids from South London to speak in what would be described as a cockney accent (tech S.London but whatever). Nowadays it's the fucking abhoration of 'Jafaican' Or londonistani or whatever the fuck you want to call it fam you get me dog, man dem speak raw now innit fam etc etc etc...

Despite the gloom and doom, it is still a great place to make money and socialize, As mentioned before ideally you want to be there when you're young,

There is always a huge influx of women visiting and moving there from around the globe, I would say it beats NYC and maybe Paris could equal it. The latter has no jobs, with many French people moving to London for jobs.

NYC gets too much praise in my opinion, while London gets too little.

The only thing preventing me from living in London, is the weather and lousy food, This coming from someone who lives in Canada. I'm also not a fan of the dismal living conditions and house sharing norm in London.

Been back in Britain for last week. Bristol to be precise. There's a friction to UK that i dont quite experience elsewhere. Where i'm staying isnt far from the University here (the good one), and is a relatively nice area. The students seem kinda cold though, not to me as such, just in how they seem around each other. They dont look like they're having much of a good time, quite frankly. I dunno, its weird i cant put my finger on it, but there seems something just 'off' about UK that i dont get in EE or in Spain.

I think the lack of homogenity is to do with that. There seems very little trust, which is not to say people are wandering around in fear for their safety, just that people seem to be wary of each other. It feels unhealthy and not a little sad, as coming of age in the 90s, it didnt seem this way at all. Frankly, even though i love this land more than any other, for the countryside, history, traditions etc, it just feels somehow rotten socially right now. Maybe i'm reading too much into this, or even projecting on some level, i dont know but place seems out of whack, and in a bad way...

London has gone to shit. I grew up just outside the city. There are hardly any 'Londoners' any more. Places I lived, pubs I drank in ... are either full of poisonous hipsters or involve running the gauntlet of cultural enrichment.

I lived in a flat opposite a big park. When people who couldn't speak any English were coming up to my ground floor window and staring in and trying to pick fights with me I knew something was wrong.

I was medically vulnerable homeless in London once, have lived and worked in may different capacities all over it. I knew that city.

It has gone down the toilet in a mere number of years. Tragic and shocking.

Bristol Ive lived in on and off.

Bear in mind that it has luckily escaped most of the vibrant enrichment that has affected most of England in recent years.

Very interesting, I didn’t read all the posts yet but so far Wellrockthecity, Zatara and Giama are nailing it.

One comment though, it is true that many brazilian girls are literally whores here, there are a bunch of flats and houses occupied by 4-5 brazilian chicks that do their business there.

BUT not all of them are like that, they all come to lead a better life and escape the crime and poverty but some of them are genuine good girls, until they get corrupted by the London life and want to lead the sex &the city life, thinking that is what modernity and being an independant woman is.

The key is to find one who just arrived, there is indeed a big brazilian network in London, probably the second biggest in Europe after Portugal, there is a constant flow of new chicks in the city (first hand experience, I dated mainly brazilian women when I was living in London).
If you can meet one who is fresh off the boat and manage to screen her properly, you can have a sweet latina girl friend for a few months, until she gets ruined by the London life and her social circle.

Despite this, don’t expect to find any gem here, you won’t find a sweet and traditional girl here, that kind of unicorns usually hate the corrupted London life and don’t stay long.

Regarding the work opportunities, the Brexit had a massive impact in my industry and there are nearly no job offers, if there are the salaries are lower than what they were just a few years ago.

I think the Brexit (if it really happens) is redistributing the cards, european people already living there will probably stay but I think many companies will move their headquarters, the estate market might be impacted, apparently areas like Canary Wharf already seen a 15% drop in the properties prices, the city center is still too hyped up by arabs and russians to be impacted.

We went up to Glastonbury Tor the other day, fucking hell the town centre there is full of the most insufferable delusional boomer wankers you could ever find. It was like something out of Peep Show. Literally right in front of the Memorial with the names of the men that were taken to hell at Ypres and left to rot in a foreign field. I dunno, it fucking infuriated me. ANd they're literally everywhere in there. Selling crystals and angel this and healings that. Fake smiles and tie dye everywhere. Honest to God, if i woke up tomorrow to find myself in power of the country, i'd have those degenerate cunts driven out of such a beautiful old town and placed in some fucking containment area. To be fair they wouldnt be alone in that, but still.

The only thing i'd add to your post, is that the red pilled working class are the only people worth bothering with. Get out into the country, in the non yummie mummie areas, and around proper people and it's same as it ever was. If anything far more woke, and its rare people give a fuck about saying what they think. It's the self-censoring middle classes that are so fucking weighed down. Been to the UK several times from 2009 to 2017, but never for the express purpose of gaming. Always family holidays, a study trip (to Stratford-upon-Avon - three guesses what I majored in!), visits to friends and relatives, and once a Scottish girl that I was trying to do some kind of long-distance internet thing with. Ah, teenage naïvety. In practice, I got the dance floor kiss but not the bang. That was before I learned the sequence of get her home -> go for the kiss -> bang. But some things you have to learn in practice. So the Scottish and Union flags still remain unconquered. Still would be a worthwhile challenge: get your English, Welsh, Scottish, Cornish, Ulster, and Irish flags, and you can crown yourself Brytenwalda.

So I don't have much to say about the UK in pure gaming terms, except the obvious dissoluteness of nightlife, which I've seen in Aberdeen and Nottingham. In that kind of environment, a man who takes care of himself could clean up if he was happy banging in the 5-6 range, otherwise I don't see much of a point. Certainly nothing worth travelling over for specifically, since that same man will be able to get better elsewhere. It would probably take some better access to social circles to consistently meet and attract a higher quality. Otherwise, the UK is pretty expensive and it doesn't seem worth it to go over there just to bang drunk 6s at night, or get shot down by entitled 4s during the day. Still, that's not to say I'll never go there again. If I ever find myself in Essex or up north with no other attachments holding me back, well, what happens there, stays there.

I've been in London a few times, again mainly for tourism. I must say you do often see young, middle to upper-class, multicultural people who look well-groomed and obviously taking care of themselves. But at the same time you see in their faces how they're absolutely miserable and stressed out. I don't think it's news to anyone how often young people there still share flats well into their 30s, which I think is extremely demoralising. You've got your career, and you're still living on the same level as college students in other European cities? I also don't mind the mix of cultures if it simply means having a good proportion of black and mixed-race girls around, but it's depressing how few born-and-bred Londoners there seem to be, and whites are mainly in suburbs that used to be part of other counties, but were simply absorbed into Greater London. The "English rose" type is as rare as it is attractive, in London obviously, but also outside of it, the slags in heavy make-up are not the same thing.

Stories I got out of second hand of European young people trying to make it in London are even funnier. I don't mind there being social pressure to achieve and look good in a big city, that just comes with the territory, but it's getting too extreme. Like girls bleaching their teeth, not because they want to, but because all their friends are doing it. Or how they look down upon any of their peers who live in perfectly lovely and green boroughs that just happen to be too far away from hipster bars and restaurants and such. I don't know how universal these experiences are, but it points to an extreme level of social-cultural conformism from perpetually stressed, depressed and therefore mean upper-middle-class types, who nevertheless still live like students.

This is pure speculation, but I think London specifically could be a great place if you already have a degree of financial independence (or well on your way towards it) and a lifestyle bankroll that would allow you to mix in higher social circles (or maybe you're already moving in those circles worldwide). Just because of the society-wide "face control" that seems to be in effect and determining what kind of parties you go to, what kind of circles you move in, and therefore what type of girls you get access to. These would be rather directly transactional affairs, though.

I still think there's much to say for the UK. I like to say that I'm a third-generation Anglophile, considering that my parents and my grandmother are/were just like that. There are some places that you just have to see. And with some types of girls, if you can't get laid with them, you'll never get laid anywhere (but if you can, you can get laid by better quality women elsewhere). So there is much to see and much fun to be had. I also don't mind British food, but then my own native "cuisine" isn't much better, so maybe I just haven't been spoilt. Plenty of multicultural cuisine in the UK anyway. But culturally and politically, I don't think they're going in the right way, and the attitudes of women are consistent with that. So the pros and cons in the OP are both correct.

I grew up on the midlands and I loved it for dating. If your happy with dating 6s then its pretty much an easy life over here. I'm not high status or super handsome so I was always fine with 5s to 7s. I live in asia currently and its easier to date better looking women as they are in more abundance here, but I actually miss some of the down to earth women who are just good company.

If you follow the link it contains video of it. In this instance a surveilance van with cameras mounted that videos passersby, presumably logging their faces and looking for matches with suspects. Taken at base level you might think, well that's not such a bad thing, but do they log non offenders and keep that data? I'd be sure they do. So if for whatever reason they looked at you, they might be able to pull up your face, and then look for matches in the last six months, and have your movements and images in front of them.

Indeed. The UK can be a goldmine if you know where to look. And British girls love sex and do ONS, while the EE ones don't give head unless you are in a very serious relationship, but good luck with that. EE girls also are suspicious of everyone and everything and that's a deal breaker for me.
I have been in the UK many times for business and pleasure and always had fun. They simply love Americans.
