Someone asked in another thread about alternatives to Twitter since Mike Cernovich and Heartiste were suspended (the former returning), so I searched for this since one of the many beauties of capitalism is if we don't like something, we can leave and sign up for an alternative. The closest alternative that I've found to Twitter (open to others) is App.net.

As some of these social media companies go SJW, keeping a list of alternatives (and later removing those alternatives if they go SJW) may help.

I think the best option in the long run is to identify how to monetize just one platform, like a Reddit clone, a Twitter clone, or a social media network that can be monetized, and then several of us from the RP/NeoM community build it. Social media has its skeptics as far as money though and for good reason - while people can vent freely and interact with others, it doesn't necessarily guarantee that a company can turn a profit. Even Voat almost lost everything because PayPal, of all companies, went all SJW on them.

I made a Quora alternative, as Quora's SJWs ban anyone who is anti-feminist (among other reasons), yet they allow murderers on the site.
Quora is a knowledge market (website where users share information with each other) Q&A site, and my site is more of a debate site, and both have blogging features.
I won't share the link of the site here.

I wonder if Mahalo, Squidoo, Hubpages and Enkivillage will need someone to create an alternative.
It's a shame that Twitter clone Heello shut down. Ello is a Twitter and Instagram clone, but they have strict moderation policies so I don't know if we'll be welcome there.
