An interesting side point. Right now i'm trying to work on a 6 wife with 3 kids, husband. Am kinda riding that fine line of sometimes effortless sometimes its work, at which point you are in a danger of lowering yourself.

I only regret the girls I haven't fucked - those are burned in my mind (the near misses are especially harsh). The lizards - heck at least they were somewhat fun experiences.

As I think about it Zel, you're probably right and all I really did was let my ego cockblock myself.

I don't like divorce, though, and that was one of the things that irked me about the situation.

I passed on another opportunity last month that was somewhat better. A woman opened me in the gym. She was 35-45 I'd guess, decent body from a lot of Crossfit, but a face that was unappealing (probably Irish ancestry again). A lot of freckles and sun damage. In the course of our conversation she mentioned living alone with two dogs, something about her "ex", and being sad that all her friends were married. I talked to her a few times. One time while I was leaving the gym and she even honked her horn in her car at me in the parking lot. I would tell myself intellectually that I should get her number but every time I got close and saw her face it was enough of an excuse to bail out, so I just kept the convo boring. She seems to have quit my gym right after that.
