You two got that right, I cannot understand how someone would equal hippies with some authentic spiritual tradition. I really really recommend you two read Surangama Sutra, it is basically answer to most questions people have about world around them, both visible and hidden. It is available free here: http://www.buddhanet.net/

Which is why across ages and eras it seemed many wise men came to very similar logical conclusions despite no direct or external connections.
This!

So, whether he was influenced by some of it or NOT.. how the hell would anyone verify today? Maybe he sat down with a Buddhist Monk and had a conversation for a half hour and something clicked in his head.. How would you KNOW for a fact one way or the other.. and Verify today.. after so long..

People are too stuck to "things that dont matter" versus "what really matters" the message and practice of "the higher path" that they not only talked, conveyed but LIVED.

Start to live that way.. using whichever flavor as a base.. and/ or if you are more conscious than most.. you will realize.. all flavors point to the same..

Pioneer gap year, the original hippy, instead of going to some trade school he went traveling to "find himself" Smile

There's a town of Srinagar in the Kashmir region of India, it's the location of Roza Bal shrine, some people claim that's Jesus' resting place.

The truth of the matter is.. He did not have a Video Log of his daily life.. Tongue And even after HE or Buddha became Enlightened Masters.. their focus was to HELP CONVEY and SPREAD the wisdom.. and not every damn pebble from their chronology.. because by then.. everything else was less significant than the Higher Truth

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.
