This girl is definitely busted. A "deuce" (2.)

I'm less picky than many here. Some RVFer's 6s and 7s are my 8s and 9s (although I don't give 10s out easy.

This chick is a hideous WNB.

I'm not familiar with the show but I'm pretty sure she lost all that money when she got that last question wrong.

She did. That's what makes it hysterical. She ruined her life for $0.

I'm not terribly excited about her life being ruined. But I certainly take joy in a man having the opportunity to stock of his marriage based on actual facts, not the pretty little lies wifey always tells.

Reality may be painful, but I'd prefer knowing the truth rather than getting unexpectedly divorce raped five years down the line.

"I can count on one hand, literally, the number of women I have ever met that can take that kind of advice, accept it and make use of it without their epic egos setting metaphorical fire to the conversation.

Most women "looking for advice" are in reality looking for someone to validate their cosmic victimhood, because it's not really their fault, because it's never their fault. This behavioural trait isn't absent among men, but when we fail society cares not, while when women fail there is no shortage of comforting platitudes on offer from every vector.

Notice the rationalization hamster when she asserts that she is a good person? Furthermore, did you see the reaction of the enabler on the sofa next to the husband? Nodding his head in the affirmative he mouthed the words "yes, I know you" when the question about her being a good person was asked. At least the husband shook his head no.

Yep. Wisdom here.

I know why too:

Lauren
Laura
Lori
Laurel

Can't count how many times among chicks with these names myself and other people get it wrong repeatedly.

Any name that gets twisted like that with ambiguity I think make the girl attention whore a little more to get a sense of identity.

Same with chicks that have men's names:

Ryan
Taylor
Jesse

Women need an extreme amount of security and stability in their self image to stay on the tracks.

RE: Chick destroys her own marriage live on TV gameshow
Can't say I felt bad for her when she lost all the money on that last question : "I think I'm a good person" - FALSE.

The fact that she said she "thinks she's a good person" ( but the lie detector said differently ) plays right into the narrative of how a woman will never apologize for anything she does wrong. It plays right into why girls on their dating online profiles put things like " I'm just an awesome person" " I have unparalleled wit, charm and looks " or "I'm the most amazing girl you'll ever have the good fortune to meet" etc ( I'm using examples from actual online profiles I've seen) They say these things and they may even think them, but in their heart of hearts where the truth lies, they often know it isn't true.

While this show is a good illustration of a beta husband and an un loyal wife and entertaining and all, it's shows like this that lend to the overall decline of the culture and the attitudes of western women these days (their attitudes being men and even husbands are disposable). I lump this kind of show in with Maury Povich, Gerry Springer and most contemporary sit coms where the married man is usually disrespected to the laughter of all, the show idiot and butt of all the jokes.

They're good for a laugh, but the questions on this show are almost specifically geared to harm the marriage. They're designed to create controversy and play to women's (even a married woman's) attention whoring nature, even at the expense of her husband. It's voyeurism for ratings. Carting up the ex boyfriend in front of this young couple and putting the woman up to these questions was bound to cause some kind of rift in their marriage be it small or large and the producers knew this .

That said, I hope this guy wises up, dumps this tramp and learns some game.

Were there TV shows like this in the 50s and 60s when there were low divorce rates and US women were feminine and respected their husbands and cared more about family over career, riding the carousel and partying until the wall hit? I think not.

Sign of the times.

If you go on a show like that you have to have your skeletons brought out into the open or they will come back to haunt you.

It's interesting that she could lie to everyone, but not to herself. Just like the overweight girl, who claims that she is happy and feels fabulous just like she is. Those questions are tougher to answer actually, because many men might flounder as well when asked: "Do you think you are a good lover, successful, good father, good with women, bad with women etc." Those questions can easily backfire on you.

Quote:Cleri says the couple of two years already had problems—but airing them didn't help. Two weeks ago, Cleri, 26, moved back in with her parents in Pennsauken, N.J., while Frank, 25, a police officer, stayed in Piermont, N.Y. After the show, "we didn't talk that much," she says. "He kept changing his mind. [He'd say,] 'I want to work things out.... I don't want to.'" Finally, she realized "if I tried to work things out, I'd be going back to unhappiness."

Frank, meanwhile, "just wants to lie low," says his mom, Maggie, who adds, "he's not angry with Lauren. A part of him still loves her." She's forgiven Lauren, but not The Moment of Truth: "That show is out to ruin people's lives."

Her ex-hubby wants to stay low - no doubt. He is the cuckold of the district. And he has forgiven her! This show is a perfect Red Pill example - also no surprise that she botched the question.

You guys are too hard on the beta man. With the cards he had up to this point, he played them as well as he could and kept as respectable of a composer as one could expect in such a embarrassing situation. Yes, it's his fault, but men in the know are a great minority, don't forget that. It's better to be civil with a whore wife before alimony is finalized than rail her like she deserved.

This episode was poetic justice and hilarious. 10/10 would "OOOOOOOOHHHH NO SHE DI-INT!!!" again
