Quicktip: Simple & effective exercise to improve vocal tonality
The following is an excerpt from Mark Manson's book.

" ... reminding yourself countless times to speak from your chest voice until it becomes habit. Here’s a cool exercise that you can do. Read the following sentence:“Why don’t you come to the party with me?”. Now, hold your nose and read it again. How different is your tonality? If it’s not very different, you already speak largely from your chest and probably have good tonality. If you suddenly sound very nasally when you hold your nose and say it, you need to work on speaking with a deeper voice.Keep practicing it until you can say it with holding your nose and it doesn’t sound any different from your regular voice".

The above exercise has completely transformed my vocal tone. People used to always ask me to repeat myself since i spoke largely from my throat and my voice came out meek and soft.

After doing this exercise for a couple weeks, I've noticed my voice sounds clearer, more assertive and full of conviction.

Try it out and let me know what you think!
