I tend to dress fairly flashy and Ive always got a really sharp hair cut. Same with a friend Ive started hanging out with more.

At a mcdonalds, he spotted a girl staring at me from behind. She was with another girl and one guy.

I walked over and instead of asking if she was staring at me asked "were you staring at my friend over there?"

In this specific case she said "what? Who?" but obviously covering it up so I said "You're pretty, youre allowed to stare" playfully before waving my friend over.

When he comes he asked if I knew them and I put my arm around the one girl and said "oh yeah we've known eachother since elementary."

Fizzled out after the guy spoke up (He was frozen at first) but I feel the opener has some potential and most importantly allowed me to break into a group.



Wondering what you guys think and where I could take the conversation after the initial intrusion? Especially if it's a larger or mobile group.


I've tried it >5 times at this mcdonalds yesterday and I've always gotten positive results (I got one number and another time my friend got a number. 2/5. Only mine seems like its going anywhere though)

The opener is working if you're getting 2/5 number closes, but if your friend freezes on you and effectively cock blocks, you need to ditch the friend. New wingman or solo time.
