RE: Language situation in Montreal for pick up
Civpro, I'm not trying to start an argument, but I don't think night game is dead everywhere. You just had a cold streak in Montreal, a city in which night game was extremely difficult even in the early 1990s when I lived there and practically had model looks.

Don't give up. Take a few days, adjust your approach, try some day gaming and try going to some bars/ clubs you usually don't visit just to have fun. Also try some Off nights at bars/ clubs. They are often better than weekends for gaming.

Have any of you guys hit up les tams tams in Mount Royal on Sundays? Its a weekly party where people play drums, usually draws big crowd but its definitely a hippy vibe. I've been there a couple of times and its a decent spot for meeting people, just buy a bag of weed (not hard to find) and roll big fatties and ask girls if they have a lighter, en francais: t'as du feu?

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

Civpro - Great report and I like your writing skills.

We have met a few times. Dude your appearance or look is not below average, there is nothing wrong with the way you look. In fact, I noticed a tremendous improvement in your body the second time I met you compared to the first time. As you stated you are Indian, you are fair skin and have the "luxury" of being able to pass for something else or at least a mixed race person.

Your results from nightgame are pretty decent considering you haven't been at it for too long. Getting ONS in Toronto is not easy, this place is not like Europe or SEA. Guys that do well here are the anomaly, not the norm. I am talking guys from all races.

I don't understand why you picked Montreal, when you intended to go overseas. The countries you talked about would have been better than Montreal and you would have got a different feel, being outside of Canada.

You sent 830 messages to girls on OKcupid, don't you think that is a bit much?

The RSD approach seems dumb to me, maybe the girls are use to that and have heard it all before. As you stated the other guys had negative results as well.

RE: Language situation in Montreal for pick up
I'm new here in MTL. Been traveling all over the world running game for over a year now. I think I have some of that PASD or whatever it's called when you get depressed talking to the local girls after an experience abroad. I'm pretty much strictly a daygamer and thus far it's been a bit of a battle here in MTL. I started off excited to be hitting on girls from my own culture but that excitement faded quickly and has been replaced with a reluctance to approach at all. The juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze as they say.

Most of my sets have gone well and ended in numbers and a few idates but the flake rate has been brutal. More than anything, it just isn't that fun interacting with the girls so far. I find myself getting the urge to approach but then I remind myself of the recent experiences and the little I've gotten out of the amount of work I've put in, and then I just don't bother.

Can anyone weigh in on their daygame experience here? My game and look I would say is above average. I get loads of IOIs and have had a ton of success in other countries, which is the reason I'm a bit stumped by this place....

I'll tell you what Montreal is, Montreal is that "6" who is standing beside a lot of Ugly and Fat Friends, so now you think she's a "10".

I had to laugh, more than once, reading an entitled Bramladeshi's sheet. If you can't get laid in the Distillery, you ain't getting any action in Montreal.

Montreal is not about the number of notches you pull, it's a city about the quality.

I am a firm believer that you either get Montreal, or you are better off chasing McGill exchange students. Either you can talk the onion by-law officer that's a 7 in her polyester to pose on your bike on her lunch break, or hit the Crescent.

The OP's problems are more than language, but to smash a Montreal 8, you need atleast a little French, and a no fucks given laugh at the devil Montreal attitude.

And never, ever, EVAH, say you're from Toronto.
