Got dumped a little over three months ago. Went no contact but saw her for the first time a couple weeks ago and talked for about twenty minutes. She commented on how loose I was and carefree, I've made some positive changes both physically and mentally since getting dumped, been with six new girls bit still have feelings for her. Then ran into her again at bookstore a few days later, we talked and then I text her a few days later telling her it was good to see her, we should get coffee sometime as friends. She replies it was good seeing me, sometime maybe about the coffee. I then say its just coffee, what harm would it be, it would be fun. She didn't reply. That was a few days ago. Thinking about letting her know I still have feelings for her as a last ditch effort, that if we hang out she will see the positive changes, how should I go about this?

Are you looking for something out of your relationship with her? I ask because your interest in her specifically could be the same interest you might have in anyone, it just happened to be focused on this woman.

As great as she is, and as sincere as your feelings for her are, you have the opportunity to reassess your personal needs and ask questions about them in a general way on this forum.

If you want to know how to make this girl love you, I don't think any man here can make that happen. If you want fulfillment in your life, I think this group could be a resource to you. That being said, sounds like you can get laid. So, what exactly do you want? Advice on how you can go back on your hands and knees to a woman who dumped you?

No one here knows your story, but in general, there are guys here who can probably point you in a direction to make a new life for yourself. Is that something you want or do you have it all figured out? I think the newbie guide specifically states "Do not ask for advice about a specific girl."

I'm trying that pitch out as an experiment. Do what you want.

I feel our personalities were compatible but there were some circumstances and mistakes on my part that messed it up, I'm also phsycially attracted to her. I know I can get laid and know in the next few years if I keep on my path I would be beasting. Advice on how to set up a meetup so she can see the positive changes I've made.

Seems like she would be the one that would make the rules in your relationship. Not a good thing to have in a relationship. Whoever cares more loses.

My friend...this is an EXTREMELY bad idea. Even if she did take you back, you'd be in a relationship on HER terms.

Any relationship where the woman leads is a doomed one.

My advice would be to move on.

It's great that you've learnt from your mistakes and you're improving yourself. But your relationship with her is over, and even if you do convince her to start a new one with you it's damaged before you even begin. Do you think it's easier to un-bruise fruit or to just get another one?

They were compatible, some baggage regarding my past caught up to me, those were the circumstances, didn't have to do with our personalities, we clicked. I'm starting to reconsider about making a last ditch attempt though, the fruit analogy was good.
