Girl Lies About Her Age and a Boy Will Pay The Price

The student, Zach Anderson, and the girl both admit that the sex was consensual.

The only reason authorities became involved is because the girl suffers from epilepsy, and when she was late coming home, her mom called the police for help.

The mother of the girl said in an interview that Anderson, “didn’t do anything my daughter didn’t do.”

Everyone involved is fine and dandy. Except the judge; who is out to make a morally motivated statement about this generation’s hookup culture.

The Berrien County District Court Judge, Dennis Wiley, told Anderson, “You went online, to use a fisherman’s expression, trolling for women to meet and have sex with. That seems to be part of our culture now: meet, hook up, have sex, sayonara. Totally inappropriate behavior. There is no excuse for this whatsoever.”

This is not the first time the self-righteous judge acted vigilantly instead of objectively. In 2012, Wiley was publicly censured after he threw a woman in jail for 10 days because she muttered a cuss word in the clerk’s office while paying a traffic ticket.

Douchebag.

Anderson’s parents asked the judge to drop the case, and of course he refused.

For now, Anderson and his defense lawyer plan on appealing the sentence because Michigan has a leniency provision for first-time offenders under age 21 that keeps them off the registry.

But when the sentence was ordered, the prosecutor reminded the judge that he had denied leniency in similar cases twice before, and to Scott Grabel, the defense lawyer, was not seen as neutral.

“He did us a favor,” says Grabel, “because now we have a basis to withdraw the plea.”

But after everything, the poor kid is still stuck with 90 days in jail, no internet, no phone, is forbidden from talking to kids under the age of 17 other than his brothers, and the potential sentence on 25 years on the Sex Offender Registry.

Don’t believe everything you read on dating apps, kiddos.

What a world. I have no idea how to even respond to this. People wonder why birthrates are going down in the West. What incentive is there to do anything?

Firstly, an age of consent higher than 16 is just laughable. Especially in America where sex has been used to sell shit forever. It amuses me that some states have 17 or 18 as age of consent. In many other countries a case like the one described above wouldn't result in the kind of harsh sentence that was passed down. In a sane world a competent judge would have the flexibility and common sense to enter a guilty verdict but forego serious or long-term punishment.

But it seems that the political and legal system is full hypocrites. And just like with bullies the best way to deal with hypocrites is to hit them hard. Their very core identity as hypocrites makes this easier than for others. Many politicians, judges, district attorneys SJW's etc. who encourage prosecution in these sort of victimless crimes have sons and daughters who have sex that would be legally defined as statutory rape. Happening all the time. The idea would be to target the family of those who have acted hypocritically by encouraging prosecution of their own children. Yes, I know the kids don't deserve it, but you know the bit about "Sin's of the fathers(and more likely mothers in this case) being visited on the sons to the third and fourth generation". Just like with a bully you really have to hit them hard. Otherwise they are just going to go on prosecuting certain cases when they feel like it while ignoring the same behaviour among their own families and social groups. Hell, there are so many SJW groups you wouldn't need to do most of the work yourself. Just ID a likely "offender", say by trolling through social media then package it and throw it to SJW's to do your work.

Did you miss the part where the girl lied about her age?

If I told my neighbors to come on over for a barbecue and then when they came over I called the police on them for trespassing on private party, should my neighbors be charged?

And let's not forget that the reason this 19-year-old was sentenced has nothing to do with the fact that the girl was underage. Here's what the judge said:

14 and 19 year olds have been involved with each other since the beginning of mankind. It's completely natural and normal. This kid isn't a sex offender, he's a normal teenage boy who is getting fucked over by the system that people like you have been brainwashed to believe and follow.

Judge should be disbarred. He's way overstepping his authority. He is there to enforce the law, not force his personal moral beliefs upon the people he is supposed to be serving. He isn't a dictator, no matter how much he may wish he was.

I remember when I was 17 or 18, me and my other buddy went to visit a friend at his family's home. We go inside and see our buddy and his sister watching a movie. We go into my friends room and my friend comes in a couple minutes later. Before he does, we are talking about how hot the sister is. This was the first time I'd seen her, but I knew he had two older sisters that everyone said were hot. Damn, they were right. She was smokin.

My friend comes in and we start joking about how hot his older sister is. He starts laughing and says "That isn't Sarah, that's Jessica. She's 13." and our jaws drop. No fucking way. We couldn't believe it. His 13 year old sister and we mistook her for his sisters that were 18+.

Were we pedophiles or sexual deviants? No. We were normal teenage boys that were attracted to a fully developed teenage girl who happened to be younger than us.

Teenagers are going to hookup. It's natural, not criminal.

So where is the harm? Who was wronged?
Which individual had his rights violated or threatened?
How is it justified to ruin this young man´s life over nothing?
This is a victimless crime, something that should be abolished in every civilized society.

For reals ^^. Everybody was ok with it, the only person who had a problem was the judge himself. All to fight against "hook-up culture" this kid is sacrificed to the Quaker gods.

Maybe instead the judge should've carried around a mattress to each of his court appointments.

This isn't a 14 yo pretending to be in her 20s. It's a 14 yo pretending to be 3 years older. There are plenty of girls that age that are fully developed. Add a bit of make-up and it's not that hard to imagine.

I’m originally from UK, I remember kids smoking aged 11, and some of my female classmates were going clubbing aged 14/15. A lot of kids were also drinking alcohol aged 14/15.

British pubs are considered family environments and many of them have kids' play areas. The young kids can play on the slides whilst their parents have a beer or a glass of wine.

In the US Traci Lords lied about her real age and was making porn aged 15, she said she was 22.

Had this boy been a son of a politician or somebody important he would have never gotten that sentence. Fact is,,, she lied. It could happen to many men. The punishment is a bit harsh...

The "Department of Corrections" is a joke. They do not 'correct' a damn thing. They actually prefer you do the crime again so that they can get more money again and again and again. If the crime involves banging a hot 17yo or even feeling her up, you can be sure they'll be looking at all his friends too after he is sent to the Big House.

As far as age of consent goes, that's a joke too. The whole idea of "consent" is to legislate against what is natural since there is no force in the universe as powerful as a 19 year old man's sex drive and likely no hole as deep as his parent's pockets. All the ridiculous tests an "offender" has to take is preposterous: Drug tests. Lie detector tests. Psych tests. Suicide tests. Then there's the ankle-bracelet which is expensive as fuck to monitor. Then the court costs come. Attorney's fees. It would be a lot less of a headache if we could just bribe the sonofabitch with a badge who thinks he is God (isn't that the custom in the Philippines? A bribe makes it all go away?).

They're against Mother Nature when you get right down to it, and by extension, God -- and all the rest of us no matter our age. They were still male witch hunts, they were just a bit different.
That whole coercing children to say there were pedofiles working at daycares thing, I think that was late 80's. There might have been a few others in those two decades, but I can't remember. The daycare thing I remember because that was my first job when I was in high school, cleaning up at a daycare after school. It was a shitty job, literally.

And judging by the string of likes, everyone agrees with you. I'll rebut:

- Old men and pre-pubescent girls have been sexually involved with each other since the beginning of mankind (e.g. Bedouin tribes). Similarly, pederasty has been part of human culture since ancient times (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pederasty_...t_Greece). Does 'time immemorial' alone make a behaviour OK?
- What is the threshold for my "brainwashing by the system"? Am I enlightened if I think the age of consent should be 14? Or do I need to think it is lower? If so, what age should I think it is to claim independent thought?
- If he had aged a little bit more, and become 20, he would thereby no longer being a "teenager". Would he still have done nothing wrong by your argument? If so, what then is your threshold for him? 25? 30? 40?

"It's natural and ancient" and "they're teenagers" aren't law. We rightfully have strict liability for pursuing sex with people below the age of consent to protect children. Sure, some children will have menarche at 10, but some will have it at 15. Since children have a diminished capacity to think for themselves and protect themselves, we impose unambiguous laws by which other adults will protect them. "Oh that child was a slut" isn't rigorous enough to be law in an ordered society.

There is room to argue what the age of consent should be (internationally it's a complete mixed bag), and what the "closeness of age" bands should be if we have them, but not that we shouldn't have and enforce age of consent laws.
