Seems like a cop out for other reasons.

I don't seem to recall him having those positions exactly like she stated. Sounds like some elaborate paraphrasing. Also the campaign contributions by corporations issue likely needs a constitutional amendment to fix. We cannot expect the SCOTUS to always have the answers for an issue, especially one that offends both liberals and most conservatives like this issue does.

The constitution does not directly address this issue and that has alot to do with why that decision was given down. Kavanaugh would be crazy to sit there and say he would use judicial activist behavior to judge it differently. We had several warnings from the past about this from our founders and a few great presidents.

Also the effects of corporate money seems to have some weak points... The Advent of Trump seems to shrug it off. You could argue that Obama would have still won without taking any at the end of his first campaign. He sold out when he did not have to do that. Looking back, he likely did that to enrich himself when he left the white house.

Well female Republican members will always be sensitive to any abortion related issues. Likely some of them had one themselves even if they do not actively promote it. Plenty of rich conservative white women have gotten one on the lowdown. It is what it is.

Long term men have to muscle out female candidates in primary season, to keep their influence lessened and to prevent defections in key moments like this one. Unless the 19th amendment is repealed, nothing else will work. Another solution would be to create a system that makes abortion almost unnecessary but that would likely involve more family based support and legislation as well as lessening the outright huge financial burdens children and birth causes. Easier said than done.

DOJ Looking into ‘Misuse of Government Resources’ Alleged in Project Veritas ‘Deep State’ Sting

Quote:The U.S. Department of Justice said on Wednesday it would look into alleged “misuse of government resources to advance personal interests” in response to a video from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas purporting to expose “deep state” federal employees.

In the video, a Department of Justice paralegal, Allison Hrabar, is caught on camera saying there is “a lot of talk about how we can, like, resist from inside.”

Hrabar is reportedly a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). She talks about how she has a friend, who is also a member of DSA, working in the Department of Agriculture and “slowing down” the process by which people get cut off from food stamps.

The video also suggests that Hrabar is seemingly using her work computer at the DOJ to research DSA’s political targets, apparently including looking up a lobbyist’s license plate to organize a protest outside his home.

Another person featured in O’Keefe’s video is Jessica Schubel, who is a “former Chief of Staff for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services during the last Obama administration,” according to Project Veritas.

Schubel can be seen discussing that there is “like, a little resistance movement” inside the government in Washington. She can also be seen stating that she received confidential information from a friend at the Department of Health and Human Services.

More elaborate version, directly from Project Veritas:

Deep State Unmasked: Leaks at HHS
DOJ Official Resists “From Inside”
DOJ: “These allegations are deeply concerning…referred to Inspector General.”

Quote:(Washington DC) Project Veritas has released the second installment in an undercover video series unmasking the deep state. The first report in this series featured Stuart Karaffa, who admitted to engaging in political activism on behalf of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) while working at the Department of State. The Department of State issued a response to the video stating that they are investigating the matter.

Today’s video features Department of Justice paralegal Allison Hrabar reportedly using government-owned software and computers to push a socialist agenda. Also featured is Jessica Schubel, the former Chief of Staff for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services during the last Obama administration.

Both Schubel and Hrabar make admissions revealing that federal employees appear to be using their positions inside our government to resist or slow the Trump administration’s policies. It appears some laws have been broken in the process.

As a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (Metro DC DSA), Hrabar was seen chasing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielson from a DC-area restaurant. Metro DC DSA is a political group that tries to advance socialist causes in the Metropolitan DC area.

Leaks at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

In the recording, Schubel admits that “…there’s like a little resistance movement” inside of the federal government. She also tells our undercover journalist that her friends at the Department of Health and Human Services “…give [her] information” before it is officially released:

PV Journalist: “…she mailed it to you in like physical snail mail like post office and then you like got it. That’s like awesome.”

Schubel: “Yeah. It’s kind of like the Nixon, “deep throat” type of thing.”

Schubel explains the exact process of the “illegal” transaction:

PV Journalist: ” So, your friend mailed you confidential government information that is illegal to mail…”

Schubel: “Right.”

PV Journalist: “And then you were able to write about that…”

Schubel: “Right.”

PV Journalist: “Is it illegal to receive it?”

Schubel: “Probably.”

Schubel revealed that some of the material her associates secretly sent her were confidential, and allowed Schubel to prepare responses to government initiatives not yet announced:

PV Journalist: “So, [your friend at HHS] sent you like what the administration was about to do… what’s so illegal about it? Just because you could write an article earlier than you otherwise could?”

Schubel: “Well yeah, it was confidential.”

Socialist Activism at the Department of Justice

Also in the recording, Allison Hrabar admits that federal government employees are using their power to resist President Trump. She admits that, “…there’s a lot of talk about how we can like, resist from inside,” at the Department of Justice.

Hrabar tells Project Veritas about another federal worker, a fellow member of DSA, who works for the US Department of Agriculture, who is “…slowing what they do” in order help people stay on food stamps longer:

“We have a member who works for the people who distribute food stamps, and they can like take that away, and they’re slowing what they do… what they’re doing means that people are going to be able to stay on food stamps for another month or two, which is like really important.”

Hrabar herself appears to be using government-owned property to perform DSA activism. The video shows a meeting with Cliff Green, another DSA member, stating that Hrabar uses Lexis Nexis to find home addresses for DSA protests:

“So Allison is a paralegal, so she, her living is researching people, so she’s very good at researching people. So, they just find the companies, and then the people that run those companies, and then they find their home address. She uses Lexis Nexis and a couple other software things.

Also in the report, Natarajan Subramanian – an auditor for the Government Accountability Office and fellow DSA member – explains to the Project Veritas undercover journalist that Hrabar uses her work computer to access Lexis Nexis: “I mean, she has used it, she uses it probably on her work computer.”

Subramanian explains that this sort of information needs to be kept secret:

“…that’s the kind of thing that you would get fired for…people do not have the silver bullet, the smoking gun or whatever. Um, if they were able to get proof of that, you know? So, we’re all walking that line.”

Resistance

In April, Hrabar led a protest on the home of a DC lobbyist, Jeremy Wiley. Hrabar recounts how she was able to access his address, and the process was potentially criminal:

Hrabar: “And so we ran the license plate, and it was a car registered to Jeremy Wiley, so you have his car parked outside a house that he does own. As of very recently, and someone saw him through the window, which is also…

PV Journalist: “Also, we’re able to run license plates through?”

Hrabar: “You can- We cannot do it officially.”

Hrabar doesn’t seem concerned with her use of government resources for the DSA initiatives. When discussing her work as a paralegal for the Department of Justice, she claims that “Like, what’s kind of lucky is at the DOJ, we can’t like get fired.”

“This may be the largest case of unaccountability in our government that has ever been exposed,” said Project Veritas President James O’Keefe. “Through our undercover reports, we now have proof of government employees leaking confidential information and using government resources to advance their resistance of official government policies they disagree with. These videos are the Deep State incarnate, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.”

YouTube is burying videos from the 2016 election that makes the media and leftist look bad. Now when you search "election night meltdown" it is now mostly results from MSM outlets. All the great videos that were posted here hundreds of times are buried on later pages or don't show up at all.

When you search "election night meltdown" the first video is, surprise surprise, from CNN. I noticed Google (and now I guess YouTube) has given super preferential placement to CNN in search results. When you search pretty much anything in the news CNN(.)com is always the first results or at least in the top 5.

KAVANAUGH ACCUSER’S CLASSMATE BACKS OFF CLAIM SHE HEARD ABOUT ALLEGED ASSAULT

Quote:A classmate of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is backing off of claims that she knew anything about an alleged sexual assault committed by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Cristina King Miranda, who attended high school with Ford, wrote on Facebook this week that she heard school rumors about an incident involving Kavanaugh and Ford back in the 1980s. Miranda later deleted the post and said she did not want to talk to the media about her claims.

However, Miranda spoke to NPR on Thursday and clarified that she has no information about an alleged assault.

“That it happened or not, I have no idea,” Cristina King Miranda told NPR’s Nina Totenberg. “I can’t say that it did or didn’t.”

Miranda’s new statement directly contradicts her Facebook post, in which she wrote, “The incident DID happen, many of us heard about it in school.”

“In my post, I was empowered and I was sure it probably did [happen],” Miranda told NPR this morning. “I had no idea that I would now have to go to the specifics and defend it before 50 cable channels and have my face spread all over MSNBC news and Twitter.”

Miranda said the Senate Judiciary Committee reached out to her after her post but that she would not testify if asked.

Dr. Ford previously said she had not told anyone about the incident until a therapist meeting in 2012. Ford also said the incident happened during the summer, contradicting Miranda’s assertion that she heard rumors about it in school.

She made that post alleging that she heard from the accuser that the sexual assault happened because she felt fucking empowered by the accusation?

What if men starting walking around accusing women of abusing their children and call Child Protective Services on any women they do not like?

If caught, they can just say, sorry I felt empowered by someone else's accusation.....

What if everyone started using excuses like that? I'm sorry Mr. Police Officer. I was empowered by someone else's high, so I decided to smoke this blunt right here. No doubt we would go to jail...

American women have zero consequences for their behavior. This is absolutely insane!

Incidentally, Ford claims that she didn't tell anyone and nobody knew until her therapy session. So her own supporters can't even stick to the same bullshit story.

Booker's push for Kavanaugh vote delay called out over his 1992 column detailing teenage groping

Quote:New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker is facing accusations of hypocrisy over his calls to delay the confirmation vote of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amid sexual misconduct allegations, as he once admitted groping a friend without her consent in high school.

The senator, who urged the Senate Judiciary Committee to first let the FBI conduct an investigation after California professor Christine Blasey Ford accused the high court nominee of sexual assault over 35 years ago, once wrote an article detailing an instance where he groped a female friend.

“New Year's Eve 1984 I will never forget. I was 15. As the ball dropped, I leaned over to hug a friend and she met me instead with an overwhelming kiss. As we fumbled upon the bed, I remember debating my next 'move' as if it were a chess game,” Booker wrote in the student-run Stanford Daily newspaper in 1992.

“With the 'Top Gun' slogan ringing in my head, I slowly reached for her breast. After having my hand pushed away once, I reached my 'mark,’” he continued, without explaining what he meant by “mark.”

"With the 'Top Gun' slogan ringing in my head, I slowly reached for her breast. After having my hand pushed away once, I reached my 'mark.'"

- Cory Booker
“Our groping ended soon and while no 'relationship' ensued, a friendship did. You see, the next week in school she told me that she was drunk that night and didn't really know what she was doing,” he added.

Booker’s intent of the column was to detail his transformation from a 15-year-old who was “trotting around the bases and stealing second” to someone who was called a “man-hater” over his pro-women views.

“In retrospect, my soliloquy titled ‘The Oppressive Nature of Male Dominated Society and Its Violent Manifestations Rape, Anorexia, Battered Wives’ may have been a surreptitious attempt to convince her that I was a sensitive man, but more likely I was trying to convince myself that my attitudes had changed,” he wrote.

The now-senator came back to the topic a few months later in 1992, penning another article that mentioned the controversial column, which he said was about “date rape,” and admitted that his actions were at odds with his beliefs.

“But by my second column, as I raised my noble pen to address the issue of date rape, I realized that the person holding it wasn't so noble after all,” he wrote. “With this issue as with so many others, a dash of sincere introspection has revealed to me a dangerous gap — a gap between my beliefs and my actions.”

"With this issue as with so many others, a dash of sincere introspection has revealed to me a dangerous gap — a gap between my beliefs and my actions."

- Cory Booker
The columns by Booker, a potential 2020 presidential contender, have resurfaced after he became one of the leading voices of the Democratic opposition against Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Following allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, which he vehemently denied, Booker said the accusations are “serious, credible, and deeply troubling.” After the committee vote was delayed and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley invited both Ford and Kavanaugh to testify on Monday, Booker called for an FBI investigation before holding a hearing.

Paul Mulshine, a columnist for the Star-Ledger, the largest newspaper in New Jersey, wrote Thursday that Booker’s columns will put him in an awkward position amid the scandal rocking the confirmation hearings.

“Based on that Stanford Daily column, Booker should be giving Kavanaugh the benefit of the doubt as well. The point of it was that the future senator had ‘a wake-up call’ and decided ‘I will never be the same.’”

Booker’s office pushed back strongly.

“This disingenuous right-wing attack, which has circulated online and in partisan outlets for the past five years, rings hollow to anyone who reads the entirety of Senator Booker’s Stanford Daily column,” a spokesperson for the senator said in a statement to Fox News.

“The column is in fact a direct criticism of a culture that encourages young men to take advantage of women -- written at a time when so candidly discussing these issues was rare -- and speaks to the impact Senator Booker’s experience working to help rape and sexual assault survivors as a college peer counselor had on him.”

I think women don't understand the law or politics conceptually at all. To them it's all some kind of imaginary game. They don't even know what "consequences" means.

This is because THEY can't go to jail. THEY won't be slaughtered if a civil war breaks out. THEY won't get beaten up if they get drunk and talk shit to a group of dudes. It's only men that suffer any real consequences.

I see this with my own kids. My daughters are wonderful, but they have a very hazy concept of personal responsibility except to the extent that they don't want to get pregnant. Boys their age learn quick or get the shit beat out of them.

When they get older, women can become bureaucrats or lawyers and understand how to enforce consequences by clamping down en masse -- on others. Women love dictatorships.

Women need a firm hand. Ideally they get it from a loving, but strict father, then later in life, from a loving but firm husband. Absent these paternal figures in their lives, many women become disrailed. That's when they search for the biggest "Daddy" of them all: Big Daddy Government.

Christine Blassy Ford's HS Yearbook-1984 scrubbed from internet but saved here in 11 screencaps:

...because if roles were reversed "the headline by the resistance would be this: CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD AND THE DRUNKEN WHITE PRIVILEGED RACIST PLAYGIRLS OF HOLTON-ARMS"

THESE TEEN GIRLS CELEBRATED THE VAMPISH POWER THEY WEILD OVER BOYS. (Christine as "Crissy" here)

The media will ignore the story that Dr Christine Ford's HS was no different with respect to binge drinking than Kavanaugh's HS.

It's called 'preponderance of emotion,' and will soon be legally binding.

By the way, the killer for me is she doesn't remember where it happened.

I had a relative tell me that she had been raped by someone I know, in his house, ten years after the fact.

I think of it every time I drive by there. Often when traumas happen the sounds, sights and smells of the event are burned into the brain of the victim.

I could see her being hazy on dates, but being unsure of where it happened is way too convenient.

Now the bitch's lawyer says that she is willing to testify next week if the terms are fair.

Jordan

She cannot pick and choose what is asked of her in Congress. That is why it is called Congress. This isn't a Title 9 hearing for a university!

If they can get her up there she is gonna look like a fool. Likely she is going to go back and forth like this to stall for time. The Dems are likely egging her on to feign participation. She might even flake on the scheduled date if they can get her to even do that.

Yeah - because vibrant diversity is giving and giving sooooo much in every country in the West that gets enriched. No one could possibly have any rational reasons for opposing "diversity" - aka anti-White-policies.
