Fun fact, this is the guy that got fired from his work for having a bad case of TDS (well really for being a failure at work):
Quote:A Tennessee doctor who became a social media sensation because of statements on President Donald Trump, racism and Colin Kaepernick - and who later sued the president over First Amendment rights - is losing his job at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Eugene Gu, 32, a Vanderbilt surgery resident, said Friday that Nashville's biggest hospital is ending his five-year residency after only three years.
Technically, Vanderbilt has decided not to renew his contract with the hospital, Gu said, but he argues the effect is “no different than being fired."
“The take-home message here is that there is an unwritten rule for surgical residents and that is rule is, always make your program look good and always make your hospital look good, and often that means stay silent,” Gu said. “But as an Asian-American physician, unlike a white doctor, I don’t always have the same luxury to stay silent."
Vanderbilt said in an email statement Friday that the decision not to renew Gu's contract was not a result of his criticism of Trump, his lawsuit, or his public opposition to racism. The hospital has said previously that all disciplinary actions against Gu relate to his work performance and professionalism.
"Regarding other allegations that Dr. Gu is making about the Medical Center, I would ask that you please consider these as allegations and nothing more," John Howser, a spokesman for the hospital, said in the email. "To date, we have not engaged in a point by point rebuttal of Dr. Gu’s many claims over the past two-plus years. At this time we will continue to maintain this stance."
Gu, a liberal doctor with a large Twitter following, has become one of the most controversial figures at Vanderbilt over the past two years because of his public criticism of Trump, Republicans, gun culture and sometimes the hospital itself.
Gu is also one of seven Twitter users who sued Trump in federal court claiming the president had violated their First Amendment rights by blocking them from commenting on his tweets. The lawsuit, seen widely as a free speech debate for the social media age, ended with a ruling against the president about two weeks ago.
rump unblocked Gu on Monday. The moment was “surreal” vindication, he said.
“When we first filed a lawsuit to defend our First Amendment rights, a big segment of the general public was almost mocking us, saying it was frivolous, and the stupidest lawsuit in the world," Gu said. "But we won – we convinced a judge that it was unconstitutional."
Eugene Gu vs Donald Trump
Trump blocked Gu last summer after the president attempted to tout his popularity on Twitter, and the doctor made fun of him for a recent blunder.
The spat began when Trump tweeted about his approval rating in a Rasmussen Poll. Gu responded with a reference to “Covfefe,” which was an apparent typo the president had tweeted about a month before. Trump's typo was left online for about six hours, bewildering the nation.
“The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election, just out with a Trump 50% Approval Rating. That's higher than O's #'s!” the president tweeted, referencing himself in third person.
Gu snarked back.
“Covfefe: The same guy who doesn't proofread his Twitter handles the nuclear button,” he tweeted.
The president then blocked Gu, but the doctor’s dramatic rise on Twitter had already started. Gu quickly found popularity for being an outspoken progressive in a profession where many colleagues avoid politics altogether.

The left pulled out all the stops today. Kavanaugh dodged a bullet, I'm sure this guy was willing to make quite of scene for his tribe. The left is again preying on the idea that gun violence victims are beyond reproach if they tow the right line.

I was wondering how this fuckwit "doctor" had the time to dedicate to tweeting versus finding cures for cancer, etc. I guess being an unemployed banana (yellow on the outside, white on the inside) leaves one with a lot of time. Especially since NOWAG. Totally unsurprising he's rom Man Francisco too.
He got harassed during the Planned Parenthood taping blowup because of his work transplanting fetal hearts into rats.
Quote:He wanted to see if organs from a fetus might be able to adapt to the immune system of a host into which it was transplanted; as a first step he transplanted human fetal hearts and kidneys into immunocompromised rats.
Funny thing about that lawsuit he made against President Trump - the judge essentially called the President's account a "designated public forum." This might not seem like much, but that's a hop skip and a jump away from ruling Twitter, Facebook and similarly situated social media is effectively the modern public square. This would mean they are one step closer to losing their Section 230 protection (something given to bloggers as part of the Communications Decency Act) and would be treated more like traditional news outlets, opening them up to lawsuits for publishing libelous content from third parties.
I think Dr. Gu and his pals may have unwittingly moved the ball down the field a yard or two for regulation of those silicon valley cocksuckers.

I guess this guy thinks he's going to become the Colin Kaepernick of the medical profession?
Only issue is that Colin Kaepernick was born to a teenage white mother and a black father who left them and adopted and raised by a white family, and who didn't get an NFL deal because he isn't a good quarterback racism. You can't buy a victimhood narrative that good.
This Eugene Gu is an Asian male, and judging by his surname Chinese...that's almost as bad as being a white male.
The only thing they have in common is that maybe if Kaepernick spent less time wearing piggy socks and 'trying to make a statement' and more time working on his game he would probably have a deal. If Eugene Gu spent less time kneeling and more time working on his craft (the dumbfuck was in residency, for fucks sake!) he would still have a job.
And at least Kaepernick will have accomplished something positive; you have any idea how many American men wake up at 9 on Sunday, Don their teams favorite jersey and spend the entire day not doing anything productive and not spending time with their kids, just to watch sportsball and spend the day drinking beer and eating, getting fatter? If even 10% of the people who used to do that are so repulsed by the NFL's condoning of his actions to tune out, its a victory for America.
Eugene Gu? 'Oh no, where will we find another Asian doctor?'

Why does he give interviews to guys like Bob Woodward?
Its the same thing with guys like Steve Bannon, they talk about how bad mainstream media is then gives interviews and access to them then get stabbed in the back.
As much as they rant about the msm they still consider them legit (despite all their lies) and want to be part of that media elite crowd. That's what's wrong with them even Trump. They basically call for his death and he still wants to give interviews to them. How great would it be if he kicked out the entire press corp and invited only Infowars or Daily Caller? Or just gave exclusive interviews only to independent conservative media?
Its a certain level of elitist snobbishness. Even though they encourage violence against him, his family and his supporters he'd rather hang out with the cool kids (who want him to die) than slum it with the independent media.

I don't know if Trump gave Woodward an interview or not, but Woodward has not been credible his last 3 books or so. Even the ones he wrote about Obama's administration were full of wild bullshit stuff that has not to my knowledge come close to being true even today. He mixes up fantasy with possible legit stuff, but since nobody can tell the difference between the real and the liberties, and he will always sell alot of copies, he keeps doing it.
If Woodward now was more like the old Woodward, he would have wrote a book about the Obama WH working together to stop Trump prior to the election and the transition, and blow the doors wide open forcing Jeff Sessions to show his hand and causing massive chaos in DC. That Woodward is from a long gone time ago...
