So you don't have an actual source. The crewmen are all out of the Navy now, the admiral is dead, and McCain himself will be dead soon enough. The purported crewmen can come forward without fear for their careers. They haven't. Everyone has mysteriously remained silent for 50 years.

Why in the hell would they prosecute McCain in the first place, or anyone, actually? The missile launch was determined to be an accident by the investigation board.

(07-28-2017 06:11 PM)Going strong Wrote:  But in any case, if you doubt my sources, why do you blindly believe the official, admiralty-issued sources? This diagram is cute (want to bring it to the WH?), sure, but, it was provided by the admiralty, which was at the time, McCain territory.

So it's a conspiracy. Has to be a conspiracy. Never mind the photos don't bear that out at all.

Clearly, this photo is doctored. Can't be any other way. It supports the diagram, so it can't be real.

[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSniSs-9BnU5w-rR3oJdCo...-EYMP_nayw]

everyone has stayed silent for the last 50 years, including during his presidential election campaign: who has stayed silent? Internet is full of pages denouncing that McCain was responsible for the fire. MSM remained silent, not the common people, but the common people only have internet to voice their opinions. (Well, except now we have the White House on our side, but it's a brand new development)

The photo can be doctored, sure, yes. The plane allegedly being McCain's plane can be another pilot's plane. Or the blow from an explosion nearby can have moved sideways McCain's plane.

Veterans (the very, very few of them who would have seen and understood the chain of events on the plane carrier, no more than four or five I guess) after the war would not have called out McCain, who had carefully crafted an image of war hero, redeeming himself in a way...

In any case, McCain is either responsible for the 130 crewmen deaths, or at the very least, an incredible jinx to the American people.

Dude enters his cockpit, next thing you know the plane carrier bursts in flames from his mysteriously detached bombs... dude faces incredibly shady coke-head candidate Barry, manages to lose... dude comes back from surgery room, next thing you know his voice in the Senate saves Obamacare... Next level jinx!

Strange, no academic history takes any of these internet sources into account. Any kook can publish anything on the internet. It happens all the time. The two internet sources that you've put forward so far require the doctoring of diagrams and photos, as well as go against established fact.

(07-28-2017 11:41 PM)Going strong Wrote:  The photo can be doctored, sure, yes. The plane allegedly being McCain's plane can be another pilot's plane. Or the blow from an explosion nearby can have moved sideways McCain's plane.

And it could all be an optical illusion created by aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy. This isn't a matter of what's possible, it's a matter of what's likely. The theory that you've provided isn't particularly likely. It requires the following to be true:

1. McCain's afterburner caused a missile launch, despite the fact that all evidence shows that the front of his plane was towards the plane that launched the missile.

2. He then somehow activated the switches that cause the bomb to detach, either in fear or panic. These bombs are already known to be at least 10 years old, unstable, and by all accounts, in poor condition. That is, they can go off pretty readily.

3. The bombs are dropped off the plane, but somehow don't explode. They explode only after the fire crew leader tries to prevent them from going off.

4. The Navy covers all of this up because of the embarrassment it would cause McCain and his family. Nobody talks to the investigation board, nobody comes forward with verifiable, legitimate information.

I think that, on the balance of it, this is not a likely scenario. The number of additional factors that have to be considered makes this a gross violation of Occam's Razor, that entities don't need to be multiplied beyond necessity.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
I recalled today the United Airlines PR Fiasco thread wherein someone suggested that they should have done an auction to get people off of the plane for what would inevitably be the lowest price.

This should absolutely be on the table for recent immigrants who can't be tossed out on legal grounds.

In the first year you offer $10k for recent immigrants to repatriate. You'll save that in welfare alone and you'll also get rid of the dumbest ones first that want a hit of cash to flash around whatever third world nation they arrived from. 6 months later you can up the figure to 15k and simultaneously slash welfare to get the next segment of moochers on a plane and out of the West. Repeat on a 6 month basis, and don't forget to allow it to be part of a plea deal to avoid jail time if they find themselves on trial.

Voluntary. Economical. Whaddaya reckon?

Was overjoyed when I came home to hear that RNC Pubic Hair was out.

I think we all suspected he was a leaker for months now (Cernovich first put forward that possibility), but after the failure of the healthcare bill it was obvious he wasn't even able to do the job he was advertised to do, which was help to herd congress.

Remember when I said that starting with healthcare was a terrible mistake, but the Republicucks were adamant on it? This was why.

Of course, I have many things to say about John McCain, but perhaps I shouldn't. Bad karma and all that, and who knows who's watching?

Only concern is who replaces Kelly at Homeland. Hopefully Kobach.

Sounds good. They have to go back, and the world needs to back off on this strange fetish of mixing people from extremely different cultural groups to live together.

However, I can't morally support the way ethnic cleaning has been done so many times in the past with a mixture of rape, murder and relocating. We need to do humane ethnic cleansing, and let people have the homogeneous cultures they want. Offer incentives to go back, and remove the incentives to come over or to stay.

That's Propaganda 101 by the way. In the early days of the Nazi Party, Hitler made sure that he himself was Director of Propaganda. He saw this as the most important party post, and his achievements as a propagandist were essential to the Party’s eventual success. Here are some of his insights

* Propaganda should appeal to the heart, not the intellect. (Feelings, injustice)
* It should be understandable by the least educated members of society. (see above)
* It should contain one central message, to be repeated over and over. (Trump is evil)
* Pictures and drawings, even crude sketches, speak louder than words, and the fewer words the better.
* The views of the opposition should be denounced categorically, never entertained. (why dialog and compromise is continually rejected - see Jordan Peterson)
* A big lie is more effective than several small ones. Even once exposed, it still carries a ‘force of credibility’, a lingering doubt that at least some aspect of it might still be true. (Multi-culturalism makes us stronger and is a benefit to society)
* Accuse your opponents of what you yourself are doing. (Russia!!)
* Focus should be kept on fighting a single enemy; all other enemies should be linked with a single great one. (Conservatives = White People = Alt-Right = Racist = Nazis)
* Face-to-face meetings with the public are the most effective way to promote a political agenda. (this is how Hillary failed and Trump won)
* A political campaign should be led by one charismatic figure with strong, inflexible convictions.

The last point is one that the Marxist Left is missing right now. It used to be Obama and this is why the current dismantling of his legacy creates so much anger/resentment.

Just being a few pounds above the limit is enough to be refused, people with diabetes can't join because they need insulin from time to time, yet, we are supposed to be ok with people injecting hormones that mess up their physical and mental state.

I'm not sure what CNN has a firm grasp of these days? Besides the Russia narrative that has become painfully clear to anyone who pays the slightest attention to their bullshit, is their own opioid addiction.

Serving the country is a privilege. It's not a right. Course CNN wouldn't have the slightest clue.
