This is the problem for older generations, at least part of the millennial get it, but gen x and boomers will have it harder.

When young people are told something is forbidden, ho boy, do they love it doing it.

Big mistake done by Gen x and Boomers, they were thinking the next generation will preserve the same ideology and dogma they implemented. Not understanding just like they saw the society of the 50s as totalitarian they had to revel against, Gen Z see them just the same.

Gen X and boomers are now in the same position a housewife from the 50s was when kids started listening to Rock N Roll.

What's always worked for me when dealing with younger kids is not "Don't do that" but "No one does that." Social shame is way more powerful.

Middle School kids love nothing more than to piss off any perceived authority figure. They also know that nothing gets leftist teachers pissed off more than pro-Trump thoughtcrime.

The thing is, gen X and boomers don't see themselves as authority, they still see themselves as revels against the patriarchy of the 50s, boomers still see themselves as hippies fighting against the system, but they do not realize, the new generation, part of the millennial, and gen Z, see them as the authority.

^Yeah, I normally don't click on many of those twitter feeds but I did with that one I can barely breathe now.

I've heard smart black women talk and she aint it. I'm guessing these kids are five times smarter than her but the disrespect she gets is "because dey all raaaaycisss".

Typical SJW drone response. No inner reflection on what caused a whole classroom to snap, against all cultural programming and statistical likelihood. No question in her mind that maybe it's her personality or her credibility that these kids despise and that they're just pushing her buttons the best way they know how. No chance in hell, apparently, that she's the asshole, and that the kids couldn't care less about the colour of her skin and are interested far more in her politics. Nope. It all just boils down to...

"because dey all raaaaycisss"

God has been merciful to grant us enemies such as these.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Ok, so you have a group of kids who may not be the most "tactful", but look at everything they put together. The "You're Fired" posters and paper wall are easy enough, but they also reserached and wrote down about 10 different Trump political platform pieces on the white board. How many adults, yet alone 13 year-old kids are making themselves aware of that kind of stuff and going out of their way to study public policies and political platforms? The kids will likely be more politically active and astute as they grow older as well and more likely to civically engage.

So, yeah. If I was that teacher, I'd probably be annoyed, but I'd also consider myself lucky to have kids in class that actually give a damn about the subject matter (as opposed to do-nothing idiots or kids who are there solely to disrupt and not to actually learn anything)...even if it's solely to troll the teacher.

The Gen Z kids (not millenials) are the most right wing in the last 80 years, people are going to get a BIG surprise the next 10 years. Trump won in a landslide if only 14-18 year old would have voted.

In Europe they are mostly libertarian, not conservative, but even in Europe they might make a party like UKIP the largest or second largest in the country. It's some crazy shit, tides are changing. The globo-communists have about 10-15 years to make their moves until these kids grow up and attain positions of influence.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
I don't think they will ever gain positions of influence. Sadly government power doesn't work like that. Positions of authority are 99% of the time a one way street toward the status quo. Even as we speak and despite Trump being elected there are thousands of government management positions in the US being given to fellow leftist travellers because only the right are honourable enough to put politics aside when considering promotion.

This is precisely why the left has marched through every institution in Western civilisation. Because they promote their own and we toss a coin (or worse, cuck to the left as a pointless show of good faith).

But the young folks are quite aware of this. They see relatively peachy state jobs going to "politically suitable" candidates, knowing full well that their christian or male or heterosexual or white ass will not even be considered and their sense of hostility against the status quo will only grow with time.

If Trump doesn't bring DC under control then these kids are going to be the ones to tear it up at the roots.

For a news story that is already past it's prime in the world of 24/7 news coverage.
As well as rather dead in the water.
Kind of surprised Trump would want to remind everyone about this.

Must be that Trump & co. feel it can be used for more leverage, there's another angle to exploit or they don't want the shady DNC fingerprints in this regard to go unnoticed.

Trump is the master of misdirection, Anonymous Conservative theorizes Trump himself may have had a hand in releasing his son's emails to divert attention away from THE WALL's imminent construction.

http://www.anonymousconservative.com/blo...rs-emails/

What would Donald get from doing this? This story has overshadowed two major border wall stories. This one:

The House Appropriations Committee on Tuesday released a bill allocating $1.6 billion to begin construction of a physical barrier along the U.S. border with Mexico, one of President Trump’s central campaign promises.

The bill funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for fiscal year 2018 also negates one of Trump’s central promises, that Mexico would pay for the construction of the wall.

“Keeping Americans safe by protecting our homeland is a top priority. This funding bill provides the resources to begin building a wall along our southern border, enhance our existing border security infrastructure, hire more border patrol agents, and fund detention operations,” said House Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee Chairman John Carter.

And this one, which shows things are even farther along than that:

For at least six months, private contractors and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials have been quietly preparing to build the first piece of President Trump’s border wall through the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge in South Texas…

“This should be public information,” the official told the Observer

“There shouldn’t be government officials meeting in secret just so they don’t have to deal with the backlash. The public has the right to know about these plans.”

So Trump doesn’t want anybody to know about that, and coincidentally, at the same time, all anyone can talk about are Donald Trump Jr’s emails. Even though it was leaked to the media, it has gotten almost no coverage because everyone thinks the other story might be the key to impeaching President Trump and removing him from office.

It looks to me like another brilliant piece of covfefee by our Commander in Chief.

the only problem is trump has never really appeared to struggle in his battles vs 'backlash'...in fact he usually somehow uses it to his advantage. also, he has never been shy about building the wall - he would need a bigger reason than 'backlash' to try and distract from his fulfilling a key campaign promise. also, i thought assange came forward to say he pushed JR into releasing emails (not that sr could not have pushed as well).

i think we are on the same tea here, but I am not convinced by what you have written...

Who knows what kind of kids these are, I just remember, during my student days, the motivation to prank someone was far greater than putting together a political presentation - which is what they did anyway + gaptooth presentation bonus round.
