RE: The Donald Trump thread
I'm convinced the neocons got to Trump. Hope he wasn't threatened into doing their bidding but not surprised. As others said before, if he or his family was threatened you have to wonder why he would run for president as a controversial candidate if that was a deal breaker. Kind of odd that Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr are almost completely out of the spotlight now even though they really were great on the campaign trail.

On the other hand if the Trump presidency ends up being some big globalist psy-op around 10-20 years in the making to discredit the nationalists and bring in the NWO all I have to say is wow. If they would go to those lengths to get their way it doesn't look like there's any way for the people to take back control of our government peacefully.

The initial very strong media opposition to Trump still makes me feel he made deals with some people after the election to soften his stance or was threatened and backed down. We knew he wouldn't do everything he said he would but to make what appears to be a 180 on some key issues definitely leaves me a little concerned going forward. If he goes full neocon I'll admit I was duped and did not see this coming. Will watch and wait.

Rockoman, whom I haven't even talked to, just White Knighted on behalf of Edmund Ironside, who hasn't complained about "being talked down to".

And he makes his plea that I should "engage with the concrete issues", by making a post that doesn't engage in the concrete issues.

Get outta here.

MMX2010,

when you responded to Edmund Ironside in the way that you did you were implicitly speaking to anyone who shared his views.

With all this talk of spergs and sigmas you are trying to cast anyone who disagrees with you as having some kind of personality disorder, or as holding the views that they do only because they are some kind of personality type. I'm obviously not the only one who has noticed this. This is textbook case of an 'ad hominem' attack.

Further, you said somewhere in the thread above:

'When your god-emperor does something you don't understand, keep your mouth shut and your eyes open"

or words to that effect.

Don't you think enjoining people to keep their mouths shut defeats the purpose of a discussion board such as this. We are after all here to discuss with each other - and to do that without having pseudo-pysychological labels attached to us in an effort to diminish our arguments.

Now to those concrete issues.

Trump assumed office having attacked previous administrations for their wars abroad which have 'bled our country dry'. His actions and personnel choices since inaugaration have shown that he is in fact continuing those policies. Everyone who has been following politics for the last 20 years can see that Clinton, Bush or Obama would have made very similar choices.

Some people say 'wait and see'. However, a President has the chance to make his greatest mark at the beginning. The longer time goes on, the more he becomes the prisoner of his own decisions that he has previously made. At the beginning he has a clean sheet and has the most freedom.

An example - the Tomahawk attacks on Syria last week.:

Assad's opponents are now under great pressure from Syrian government forces and Russian air support. Gradually losing ground.
Trump has indicated that the renewed use (alleged) of chemical weapons will lead to a similar - or greater - reaction in the future. Assad's opponents now have a very great incentive to make sure that further such incidents occur - to spur more US intervention. At the same time Russia and Iran have stated that they will respond to any such intervention.

So, let us assume that a 'chemical incident' occurs. What does Trump do? If he does nothing then he loses credibility. If he attacks Syria again, then he risks a direct military confrontation with Russia and all that that may entail.

It's like a chess game - the longer the game goes on, the fewer effective options you have because of the moves you have previously made.

So, it won't get better from here on in.

That's why - just as in chess - it's important to make sure that those early decisions are good ones.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Trump didn't have to be personally threatened or have his family put in the firing line. I believe he was simply taken aside and showed some economic levers by which the elites would plunge America into a hideous recession under his presidency. They told him he would end up a one term president and go into the history books as an utter failure.

They told him the carrot to this stick was that if he went along with the big plan then they would give him a shot at a second term through a series of superficial wins. For example, he would get his wall and get to deport a shitload of Mexicans but that in effect they would be replaced by muslims flown in by plane instead.

And they would have had this conversation with him at the 4 to 6 week mark after they started to put the brakes on his plans (the courts) and after the chance had passed for Trump to call out the deep state on an all-channel broadcast.

What I suspect is going to follow for the next 3 to 7 years is a series of superficial wins that will allow the fanatic MAGA crowd to shout down the doubters who point out that nothing is really changing for the better if you dig beneath the surface.

And you'll be able to track this outcome quite easily by taking notice of the diminishing levels of hate he draws from (((the old-media))), which started warming to him the second those missiles flew into Syria.

On another note, those gaffes from Spicer about "destabilising Syria" are either retard-D chess or proof positive that you should not put your press secretary in the same room as your strategists while they're talking shop.

Don't put words in his head that he doesn't need to hear. Give him his talking points and in all other instances keep him in cryogenic storage until he needs to be thawed out to give a statement.

Yes, that was my favourite clip from the last few days. Perhaps it's part of a new policy of open government.

My second favourite clip of the last few days was Foreign Minister Lavrov giving a female American ournalist a lesson in good manners.

Interesting how "wait and see" isn't such a bad idea compared to "flip the fuck out"

Also I said it and I will say it again, assuming Pres Trump acted on Ivanka's tears is ridiculous and I think only gullible people would believe that.

Donald Trump is not a fool.

Edit - Fast Eddie are you going to mention anything about Sessions announcements re Illegals or do you only stay silent when progress is made about your most important issue?

So, first off, I completely disagree with the bolded. "Flip the fuck out" was proven to be exactly the correct response, at least judging by Mike's tweet. Since I don't want to reinvent the wheel here, I'm going to cite something I wrote a couple days ago that has proven to be pretty on the mark (again, at least according to Mike's tweet):

(04-07-2017 01:19 PM)Fast Eddie Wrote:  Ok. Cool. It's not a big deal, say.

Do you know the best way to ensure it doesn't become a bigger deal? Loudly, furiously condemn the direction this is going in, then (internally!) chill the fuck out while on the surface continuing to snarl in rage at Trump's betrayal of his promises.

Will that ensure the MAGA agenda gets back on track? No, but it sure as hell beats getting our shit pushed in and pretending to like it because it is Trump who's doing the pushing.

Why is this so hard to understand? During the election, we actively and vigorously pushed to have Trump become president, because we wanted to MAGA. Now that Trump is president, we have to actively and vigorously push so that Trump actually implements MAGA. Just standing on the sidelines and "chilling" waiting for the cards to fall where they will would have been the wrong play to get Trump elected, and now it's equally the wrong play to get Trump to do what we want him to do. It's as simple as that, and it has nothing to do with whether we have "faith" in Trump or not.

What is funniest to me is that people (not you in this case Kaotic) are telling us to chill the fuck out, this is just Trump "A/B testing" his shit. Which is a hilariously retarded thing to say, because if you know Trump is doing A/B testing, you want to do the exact opposite of chilling out. You want to scream on the top of your lungs A and not B!!!

Do you disagree with this Fisto? I think the logic is pretty indisputable: if you don't like the direction things are going, well for fucks sake say so! It may or may not make a difference, but at least you tried.

Maybe if we had "flipped the fuck out" over DACA the way we did over Syria, Trump would have stopped issuing work permits to illegals months ago like he promised during the election Idea Hey, there's an idea...

All this is of course assuming Trump really has decided to stop being a jackass in Syria, which at this point is an open question. My ability to take Trump at his word is greatly diminished, for better or worse. If his most recent statements turn out to have been lies, then "flipping out" will still have been the correct response, albeit for an entirely different reason heh.

When did I ever say "don't say anything"? I never said that once, in fact I made it a point to mention several times that I had tweeted to the president directly my disapproval of the potential Syria invasion.

So that can go right into the trash heap where it belongs.

All I said was don't lose your cool aka don't flip the fuck out, but if you think that helps you somehow I'm not going to argue it.

But once again, guys jumping to conclusions, adding things that aren't there because of projection or disregarding key issues, almost at random.

President Trump is kicking serious ass, and he got China to help with Korea in one golf session when Obama couldn't get a fucking thing done in 8 years.

All it cost him was saying he wouldn't label china a currency manipulator.

I wonder if that might be back on the table if China starts to wear out it's usefulness?

Actually, once again thank you for proving my point, emotionally reacting to the latest bit of (cherry picked) news.

You simply don't know what was bargained for and you won't know until father down the road. Past history says that President Trump will have gotten the US a good deal but that won't stop you from running your ignorant mouth as if you have a seat at the table.

You'll bitch and moan about the sky falling and when the sky doesn't fall you'll be on to something else like you were never dead wrong about the last thing you were complaining about.

I noticed you started posting as soon as things looked hairy and you seem to be the person I notice the most who's disappointed at signs things are moving in a positive direction.

You seem to almost be traitorously cheering for a failed Presidency.

It's not at random Fisto, there are multiple dudes here flat out denying/lying to themselves and others and dismissing what has been achieved, while simultaneously raging about something of little long term consequence and which it turns out they were completely and utterly wrong about in every way.

But I suppose if a guy is on a potato farm in New Zealand or in a basement in Prague the only thing that matters is theory, conspiracies, or end of world fantasies- because they don't benefit from, see, or feel the substantial changes that have taken place or been set in motion.

Meanwhile, for American Citizens, who live in the United States of America, this could not be a brighter time to be alive, attitudes and belief have been fundamentally changed - along with actual policy, despite ridiculous levels of obstruction and sabotage - despite the complete and continuous denial by certain members here. They never respond to the posts showing how he is following through on virtually everything he promised- even under conditions that could not be more laughably hostile.

If your allegiances and red lines involved not upsetting the benevolent and great Putin under any circumstances, or if you do not want only what is best for the United States and United States alone, or if you cringe at "American Exceptionalism" then ok, I'm not going to say you're wrong to have those opinions- But I will say that perhaps you were on the wrong fucking train to begin with, because those ideas were never in alignment with Trump.

Every American man owes a debt of gratitude to Trump, not only for what he has already achieved for the country in real terms, and for what he will, but also for this whole ride that has brought life and comedy back into the lives of the American male and let him breathe like he hasn't in decades.

Those who fail to see or care or even acknowledge the tremendous changes are nothing more than ingrates. There really is no other way to put it.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
If this post is confusing, I apologize. Hopefully, you'll understand why it's confusing based on the material in working with.

Adam Gingrich, known on Periscope and Twitter as John Wick of Politics, finished an hour long Periscope about three hours ago. His Periscope was designed to combine one simple prediction/fact with a whole bunch of inferences. I'll present the prediction/fact first, then quote what he said as best I can, and then quote my own interpretations of his inferences.

The prediction/fact is by far most important: Steve Bannon is going to be fired from the White House tomorrow.

What he said, in no particular order: (1) Steve Bannon is already packing his bags right now. (2) He's not getting fired because he disagreed with Kushner. (3) You don't just fire your Number Two guy. You give him multiple chances, gather more than enough information, and then you fire him with cause. (4) Donald Trump thought he had a reliable executive team, but instead he has some people for whom winning wasn't enough: they got their own agenda. (5) All of the pro-Kushner articles are coming from the same three sources, and the White House knows who they are. Note: I think he meant Fire-Kushner articles in that last sentence, but I want to quote him exactly. (6) If all of you Twitter idiots want to Keep Bannon, you should hire him yourself. If you have the money. But Steve is going to be radioactive for a very long time. (7) Cernovich got played. He didn't know how this game is played. He had a blind spot, but I'm not going to judge the guy. (8) Lee Stranahan is absolutely going down. Telling Trump to Fire Kushner, as if Trump is going to tell his daughter that his three grandchildren aren't allowed to be Jewish anymore, was fucking stupid. (9) Firing Bannon will create some fissures within the base, but if you can't back Trump, then you should buy a Ted Cruz hat. (10) Paul Ryan needs to enjoy the cucky smile on his face when learning of Bannon's firing, because he's next.

My interpretations of his inferences: (1) The White House has discovered, or strongly believes, that Steve Bannon has been leaking information to Mike Cernovich (85% likely) and maybe Lee Stranahan (but only 10% likely). (2) If Bannon hasn't leaked information to those two people, he has been caught leaking information to someone. The evidence of this leaking is extraordinarily airtight, which justifies the firing. (3) The anti-Kushner articles about loans from Soros are either Fake News (akin to the Russian dossier) or Genuine News (but Trump already knew this, and doesn't think it matters).

-------

I'll also add some direct quotes not related to Bannon.

(1) The statements by Donald Trump that China isn't really a currency manipulator are pay back for China's agreement to go after Fat Boy in North Korea. (2) Donald Trump has a lot of big, brilliant foreign policy plans. (3) The agreement between China and Trump regarding North a Korea effectively froze out Putin, who needed to meet with Tillerson just to prove to his countrymen that he wasn't afraid to meet an American.

-------

It'll suck if Bannon gets fired, but Adam thinks Trump will end up stronger.

From a personal perspective, my scientific approach to life treats this post as an effective, testable prediction regarding the accuracy of Adam Gingrich as a source. If Bannon isn't fired within the next three days, I'll know Adam was blowing smoke.

If your allegiances and red lines involved not upsetting the benevolent and great Putin under any circumstances, or not wanting only what is best for the United States and United States alone, or you cringe at "American Exceptionalism" then ok, I'm going to say you're wrong to have those opinions- But I will say that perhaps you were on the wrong fucking train to begin with, because those ideas were never in alignment with Trump.

Every American man owes a debt of gratitude to Trump, not only for what he has already achieved for the country in real terms, and for what he will, but also for this whole ride that has brought life and comedy back into the life of the American male and let him breathe like he hasn't in decades.

Those who fail to see or care or even acknowledge the tremendous changes are nothing more than ingrates. There is really no other way to put it.

I'm really glad you wrote that because I couldn't have said it half as well.

When people say I'm wrong, that's when I know I'm the most right. - Samseau

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Frankly all of the statements claiming that Donald Trump is being manipulated by his daughter's tears, by his daughter's husband, by the neocons miss an important thing.

It is similar to feminists - you are either strong and independent or you are victims.
So in Trump's case he is either incompetent and rushes to unfounded decisions or he was on board with many decisions anyway - long even before he became president. So is he competent and at least partly a traitor or is he incompetent, a fool and manipulated? Those are the choices.

That said - of course he had to be elected and is sort of a fuck you to the current establishment.

Still - we have to remain on planet earth here. Before the election I heard that Trump is going to save the world, call back American troops around the world, oust all illegals and stop immigration altogether, in addition he would defund the UN and cancel all trade deals.

Nothing of that had much of a chance.

The PROS OF TRUMP - and the very least to be expected from him:

1) He is masculine, outspoken, clear-cut, Alpha and has Game - he makes feminists, SJWs, liberals, progressives and the mainstream media cry and scream in desperation - That is a big plus

2) He is certainly going to be a bit tougher on immigration - I don't expect it to be too much, but words have consequences as well

3) He is not going to engage the country in race baiting, race wars, also no more feminist wars and wage crap, girl-powerisms that we would have seen with TheCunt. Also I expect part of the PC culture WRONGTHINK crap to be rolled back.

4) He may marginally improve the conditions of workers as he already did with coal getting back, oil exploration expanditure etc.

Those are the things that we can expect from him.

What we cannot expect from him:

A) End to wars in the Middle East - will go on as before, that much is clear. Syria will likely fall on his time and he may start an Iran war after that over some other bogus reason.

B) End of anti-Russian bullshit - goes on almost as before

C) Support of anything globalist - goes on as before

D) Trade deals stay intact, maybe get slightly renegotiated, but those agreements are secret, so you will never see it coming anyway

E) The flow of fake refugees, Muslims as well as anyone south of the border will continue - maybe it will lessen a bit from the South and increase from the Middle East

So in essence - the globalist plan continues without much interruption.

If Donald Trump would swerve too much from his masters' plan, then he would not survive it, or his daughters wouldn't, or one of his sons would get a sudden bout of fast-growing cancer, or Ivanka's kid gets a mysterious deadly vaccine reaction.

Either way - we have to face the facts and realize that there is a limit to what Donald Trump can do and is willing to do. He is probably not a bad guy all in all - certainly much better than TheCunt, but the president is not in charge in the US. Andrew Jackson was maybe one of the last guys who was able to fight the globalists successfully. But that ship has sailed since almost 200 years. It is a bit late to fight just by electing a president while the entire Hydra body and countless other heads are swinging at you.

That's your interpretation, but it's not the interpretation. An equally likely one, (actually a more likely one given that I'm explaining my own actions), is that my reply was meant to smooth put Edmund Ironside's negative emotional state, and had nothing to do with you.

What have I said about Sigma? That they inevitably interpret events, so that they're bravely standing Independently, Intelligently, and Alone against their own side . And look at you interpreting my words such that you're standing Independently, Intelligently, and Alone against your own side.

No, dude. It's an example of someone who just heard about Sigma less than a week ago arguing with someone who has used that word for at least three years. You're not my equal on this topic, and I won't treat you like one. I'll just talk down to you until you stop wanting to be seen as my equal.

That's fucking great. Trump is Hillary motherfucking Clinton because he missile striked Syria. Trump is Barrack Hussein Obama, because your purest interpretation of Trump's words says so.

You have to go back.

Ya know, a lot of people on here, and rightly so attack members of the Alt Right for issues in their sphere. At least the Alt Right is holding a unified front being honest about the betrayal. The amount of neocon cucking and lolbertarian ideology I'm seeing more and more on here is making me disgusted.

Last time I checked neomasculinity wasn't about glorifying war, fleecing the poor or betraying your tribe and throwing identity under the bus.

There's also a difference between nationalism and rah rah American Jingoism. If Trump's attack on Syria really was only smoke and lights, it's still treachery and people still are suffering because of this.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Agree with Zel and Global Man that the whole Trump campaign has been a gust of pure oxygen for the white American male. For that we should be grateful.

We see American and the wider western society fracturing along multiple social fault lines. Male against female, black against white, christian against muslim, homo against hetero. This rise of identity politics has in my view been a deliberate strategy of 'divide-and-rule' and probably accounts for the facilitated immigration into Europe too. Unfortunately, I do not see this ending with the Trump admin. Rather Trump will be used as a 'hate figure' to ratchet higher the animosity of the 'other side'.

Our debt-based financial system is heading sooner or later for an extinction-level event. We've all worked in various organizations, so we know that when things go wrong people look for someone to blame. When this event occurs, it will be important for the elites to make sure that the resultant rage is canalized away from them. That's why it's so important for them to promote identity politics now, so that when the event occurs the various demographic groups will be pointing fingers - and maybe even worse - at each other. We must resist animosity directed against ourselves, but at the same time resist the manipulated impulse to direct animosity against other innocent groups.

So, what do we do? I think the situation is too far gone for any collective political solution - if indeed that was ever possible. In fact, I consider the search for grand, collective political solutions to be part of the problem. At the individual level we should invest our time and our emotional and mental energy in ourselves and in those we love. Keep healthy, make some money, enjoy what life has to offer and give something back to others in the world. Cultivate our own gardens. Remember that the most important votes we have are those dollars in our pockets and how we choose to spend them as well as well as the hours of our lives and how we spend them.

I am much more optimistic than Zel and some others. I don't think that what we call globalism will ever achieve it's goals. The elites may have their hands on the wheel but they are driving blind. They will never have enough information - plus they are incompetent. There are more than seven billion of us now, all of us together making billions of decisions each day as to what to do in innumerable aspects of life. This complexity is impossible to control. We know that central planning does not work, cannot work. Elites have always naturally splintered into competing factions and will continue to do so. This world of ours is fractal.

In the meantime let us support Trump when he is right, but just as important call him out when he is wrong, and not tie ourseloves into pretzels seeking contrived explanations for his actions out of some misguided cult of personality.

Right, off to enjoy the beautiful spring sunshine here.

“The world is what it is; men who are nothing, who allow themselves to become nothing, have no place in it.”

RE: The Donald Trump thread

I'm still trying to understand how some people don't get it.

-T says NATO is obsolete and should be scrapped (complaint is that countries aren't contributing enough)
-NATO countries get worried, want to renegotiate
-T gets what he wants, steps to improve deal for USA

-T says China is currency manipulator, we need more favorable trade circumstances
-China gets worried, wants to talk, suddenly is more cooperative with other issues including NK.
-T gets the wheels turning for a more favorable relationship

etc repeat with every issue.

Saying "but Trump SAID X, and now saying Y, he's a liar/traitor/words/something" is a childlike mentality, and I'm surprised by the number of dudes playing this flimsy and transparent card, when they know (or should know) that the whole point is a negotiating tactic. You don't start with a reasonable statement, you start with the extreme and then you end up somewhere favorable but achievable. Guys repeating this "but he said" nonsense are especially dishonest given the fact they can see themselves that, regardless of what T says day to day, the original objective is being achieved. See China, NATO etc.

It could not have been more plain that the point is not what he says, but getting what he (and we) wanted in the end, or at the very least a more favorable deal for the USA than we currently have.
