Kinda disappointed that Trump and co. are listening to this war crimes hack.

But look at the body language.

Pence his both physically and facially repulsed and turning away.

Actually, Kissinger practiced RealPolitik which made pragmatism more important than ideological notions in foreign policy. I thought that is where Trump wants to go. It was Jimmy Carter who screwed up American foreign policy with his "Human rights" campaign. Carter stabbed the Shah of Iran in the back, which started the long march towards Islamic fundamentalism in the Middle East. All of the autocrats the US put in place to contain Islamic fundamentalists were overthrown with the help of the US under the Carter influenced foreign policy.

Trump and his team are smarter than people give him credit for. He knows that to truly run the country, you have to rub shoulders with the people who have both hard and soft power. Kissinger, who is an unsavory character to say the least, has power and influence in Washington. Doesn't mean you have to cut him in on the action, but that's where a master deal maker lets you believe you are influencing him, shuts his mouth and lets them babble, takes notes on how they think, what they know, who they know, etc. Then he compiles all that data and makes a wise assessment. Same thing with the Mitt as SOS pony show. Made himself look magnanimous, then picked the man he really wanted. Trump puts himself in Win/Win situations for a reason. He wants the greatest possible path to victory, no matter how the cards are dealt. A smart deal maker stacks the decks, and that's exactly what these meetings are designed to do.

Quote:4. Get married and have kids. Not an easy sell on this forum given all we know about the risks. Still, game-aware men have a much better chance than your average beta schlub about what makes LTR game work. If we want a conservative nation worth defending, we have to have the kids to combat all the liberals having kids or importing kids. This is non-negotiable if you want a long-term victory, and not a short-term one regarding Trump. Trump is a once and done if we don't give him and others like him a future flank of young voters who can turn the tide.

Gotta fix the marriage laws, and change the culture regarding family and women. First one should be doable within 8 years, but the second one we might never live to see.

Overwhelmingly, in my own social circles, the people who have been married, stay married. Both the men and women work on the marriage. They homeschool their kids or send them to good private schools, often at the expense of not living a wealthy lifestyle. Waiting for Family Law to change is a paper tiger spouted by MGTOW and MRA's. There's too much money at the moment being printed to keep the lawyers, social workers, etc. employed to see that cash cow disappear.

You sound like someone who thought Trump couldn't win.

Quote:The problem, if it is to be solved, will have to done so on a spiritual and social level, not a legal one.

It needs both.

Quote:Laws only enforce bad behavior, whereas the bad behavior must be shamed and curtailed long before that.

Complete nonsense. This is like saying we don't need to make murder illegal because murder is just a cultural problem, and making it illegal is therefore redundant.

Laws are extremely important. Human culture forms around laws just as much as culture leads to new laws being created. It is a two-way street.

Quote:I know a 20 year old girl in my social circle. She just got a huge tattoo on her thigh. She was explaining it alongside of another young girl I know. I looked at the girl with the tattoo and in a concerned way, that's really too bad. So many less people will employ you, and men will judge you harshly. I hope you reconsider it. The girl next to her was shocked, and later on told me it was ballsy for me to tell her friend that. I told her that smart girls don't destroy their natural beauty, and she agreed. You can't save everyone in a culture at any given time, but you can certainly drop some red pill paternalism here and there when presented the opportunity. The United States will perish as a country long before the Family Laws are changed if we aren't fighting the culture wars in our own social circles. It takes courage to do so, but that's where hearts and minds are won. Not on some cold, sterile law book.

I don't think what you did took any courage at all. Speaking up to women is tough if you're a huge pussy, which means the problem is that men are huge pussies if they cannot state basic truths.

Far more effective is convincing men over the internet, which leads to legal and cultural changes.

Quote:If an American man finds it too much of a risk (even with extreme filtering for a conservative, sweet, feminine girl, etc) to get married in the USA, then he always has the option to move to a more traditional country and re-invent his life there. I'm currently weighing the options of marrying inside of the US if I found the right woman versus moving abroad. Each man needs to make that choice for himself, but not marrying and not having children represents a net negative for all cultures of the world who wish to see a return to patriarchy. Good men sitting things out because the laws aren't good at the moment only results in more children born out of wedlock and further degeneracy. Good men must take calculated risks, otherwise they are doing nothing to help the current situation.

Getting married in another country is again a false solution because it means you're giving up on America.

Importing a wife would be viable, except once the imported wife learns about the corrupt divorce laws the odds increase dramatically that she takes advantage of them.

Even Donald Trump made every wife sign a very strict pre-nup. He has the right idea. The pre-nups couldn't stop his marriages from ending, however.

Thus, if we don't take advantage to secure laws in favor of family formation and retention, it's just a matter of time before leftist feminists get into power again and destroy the effectiveness of pre-nups.

Moreover, pre-nups do not help anyone except the richest of men. We need a society where middle class men have no problems finding and keeping a marriage intact. We do not have such a society today. The easiest changes to improve the situation is to push for legal ones, as the slower cultural changes take effect.

^ Welfare has to be a rock bottom lifestyle and child support should no longer exist.

The government and the single-mother industry can't have it both ways (taxing a man to provide welfare for stranger's kids and then slugging him with child support payments for his own in addition).

As long as women bear few to no consequences for walking away from a reasonable provider they will always do so as and where their feelz dictate.

I'd propose child support be more nuanced to incentivise white people to finally increase birth rates again: child support is much higher if you are married and at least one person is employed. They're more likely to fulfil both criteria thus are incentivised.

Child support would be minimal if unmarried and contraception mandatory after several babies out of wedlock. This way you disincentivise many children being born by single mothers who shouldn't be having them in the first place.

I agree though. If Cali split up and we were also able to get most of the illegals out, then I see Republicans picking up at least 20 EVs minimum. For now, I guess all we can do is stoke any divisions that pop up within the state and also focus on enforcing immigration in general (something Trump will do).

^ I agree. I don't think the United States should give one inch of ground to leftists, literally or figuratively. To allow secession, in my opinion, sets a bad precedent for future troublemakers. These fucks need to learn whining and crying to get your own "safe space" isn't going to work anymore.

What is this performance here by Obama and Trudeau. Banning all drilling in the Arctic and Atlantic? Especially dumb by Trudeau this is a defiant move. Apparently this legislation by Obama is super hard to cancel as per the legal scholars in various left wing comment sections but I have no idea.

Kinda disappointed that Trump and co. are listening to this war crimes hack.

Let me call time out for a minute. I'm pretty drunk but forgive me fellas.

This might be best saved for a discussion in the Deep Forum, but let's address now.

Kissinger, regardless of where your political ideology lies, is a very important thinker and strategist in regards to political theory and US Foreign Policy.

He is part of the Realism group of political thinkers. Machiavelli, Thomas Hobbes, Carl Von Clausewitz, Kenneth Waltz, Stephen Walt, etc. are core thinkers in this style of political theory.

We ourselves arguably come from this style of political thought. These guys were the Manosphere long before it ever existed. They advocated realistic solutions for social matters and political matters based upon actual human behavior and social dynamics. They understood/understand human nature on a level that rivals game.

Before I became redpill I was a huge fan of these thinkers. Still am. They could explain why people do what they do without the political correctness others use.

We have guys like this to thank for things like:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Realpolitik
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Realism_(i...relations)

Take some time to read through these things. I promise you, you will be better off for it and it will expand the way you think in general. If Roosh could read Machiavelli or something like 48 laws of power, you guys should read it and these other thinkers as well. Kissinger included. Even when I was a liberal I deeply respected his theories and ideas. I'm not alone, other liberals do as well.

Kissinger may be too old to give alot of advice, but Trump and Pence would be smart to think about the ideas he had and his school of thought. He isn't perfect but he is pretty close to the last kind of redpilled men in US Govt. we have. We need more RealPolitik in our daily foreign policy in this country. We can learn alot from Kissinger and others like him. Just think past the things the neocons latched on. Trump is already anti-globalist, so I do not expect for him to take on that part from Kissinger, but fashion the rest to fit his goals.

If Kissinger wanted to give me advice I would listen to it. I don't have to use it, but I would greatly appreciate it. Any redpill man should as well.

Secession won't happen, I agree with you. My response was in regards to those who think we should be working with the left in order to help California secede. We're about to have President Donald J. Trump in the White House and Republicans hold both House and Senate, there's absolutely no reason we should be humoring leftists at all by giving them even one-inch of ground, literally or figuratively, as I mentioned earlier.

Would they have shown us any mercy had they won? Absolutely not. As such, it isn't enough for us to defeat our enemies, we must completely crush them. I'm looking forward to seeing what tricks Trump has up his sleeve next.

Agreed. While it would be fucking hilarious to watch, wars start fundamentally for economic reasons, and what exactly does anyone in California stand to gain from seceding and becoming an independent state? They have to pay for their own welfare systems, defence, food deals, everything. This secession bullshit is just another tired ideological whine. California's not going anywhere because it lacks either the resources to do so or, when it comes down to it, the balls.

GOP cucks are being kept in check by the Emperor's shitposting stormtroopers.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/do...ans-232800

Quote:It’s little wonder that Capitol Hill Republicans have papered over their not-insignificant policy differences with Trump, shying away from any statement about the president-elect that might possibly be construed as critical. They’re terrified of arousing the ire of their tempestuous new leader — or being labeled a turncoat by his army of followers.

Since the election, numerous congressional Republicans have refused to publicly weigh in on any Trump proposal at odds with Republican orthodoxy, from his border wall to his massive infrastructure package. The most common reason, stated repeatedly but always privately: They're afraid of being attacked by Breitbart or other big-name Trump supporters.

For all the talk of Trump being some sort of fascist who is against the principles of democracy, I can't think of any other recent presidential administration where government officials are being kept in check by THE PEOPLE as much as they are now.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Lots of talk about Trump's new tariffs:

Why Trump's "Border Tax Proposal" Is The "Most Important Thing Nobody Is Talking About"

Quote:While the market, and various pundits and economists have been mostly focused on the still to be disclosed details of Trump's infrastructure spending aspects of his fiscal plan, "one of the least talked about but possibly most important tax shifts in the history of the United States" is, according to DB, House Speaker Paul Ryan’s and President-elect Trump’s “border tax adjustment” proposal.

This is part of the “Better Way” reform package and also figures prominently in the writings of senior Trump administration officials.

What is it?

Put simply, the proposal would tax US imports at the corporate income tax rate, while exempting income earned from exports from any taxation. The reform would closely mirror tax border adjustments in economies with consumption-based VAT tax systems. If enacted, the plan will likely be extremely bullish for the US dollar. What’s more, it would have a transformational impact on the US trade relationship with the rest of the world.

[...]

Taking all of the above into account, the academic literature is unambiguous in its conclusion that the dollar should rally strongly in the event a “border tax adjustment” is put in place. An appreciating dollar would be a natural response to an improving US trade balance and the competitiveness gains achieved by the shift in the relative prices of exports over imports. In extremis, the dollar would rally by 15% to fully offset the price changes caused by the tax. This analysis is partial however, with the knock-on consequences on the Fed, US corporate off-shoring and global trade relations likely making the impact even more material.

Deutsche Bank concludes that combined with potential changes to the treatment of unrepatriated earnings, "the proposed changes to the US corporate tax code could be one of the most important shifts in US tax and international trade policy in a generation."

We wholeheartedly agree with DB's assessment in this particular case.

The government and the single-mother industry can't have it both ways (taxing a man to provide welfare for stranger's kids and then slugging him with child support payments for his own in addition).

As long as women bear few to no consequences for walking away from a reasonable provider they will always do so as and where their feelz dictate.

This will never, ever happen. Cutting off welfare might be popular in Right-wing circles but it is a losing position with moderates and the left.

Conversely, mandatory birth-control is far less punishing and does not like kids starve on the street. It also severely reduces the amount of bastards that need to be taken care of. See more details in the Future of America thread.

That looks like Maria Bartiromo, nice Italian cleavage.

Gay cakes and trans bathrooms: the most important human rights issues of our times, surely.
