President Elect Trump has alot of work to do today. If I were him I would not be trying to party much today and definitely not tomorrow. He may have to spend all week doing interviews, etc. but time is really precious now.
This post will slide very fast, but I will save it somewhere to repost later when stuff calms down. I just need to write it out, while I have time.
Let's talk strategy
Shortlist of Tasks:
1. Reach out to every NEWLY elected House of Representatives Republican winner and start working on making them loyal.
2. Start the groundwork of getting rid of Speaker Ryan. Hannity already got it started, but he needs to get a roll call together to see if there are enough votes indeed to push out Ryan. Also, they need to get a short list of possible names to replace. Remember fellas, the Speaker of the House is 3rd in Line incase Trump and Pence suddenly die!! Needs to be a sensible pick! (For example: Chaffetz? Too young and inexperienced. Gowdy? Just right.) Also this needs to be discreet if possible, unless they want to AMOG Ryan and intimidate him. (Not recommended)
3. Call the GOP Party head and make him bend the knee immediately. Tell him this is your party now and you will be in charge or he will be gone. Getting control of the party is key for communication purposes and for legwork down the line, in case court appointments or other key bills face trouble.
The First 100 Days:
1. He needs to get a very quick coalition going ASAP in both houses for the Obama healthcare repeal. The provisions for Pre-Existing Conditions need to stay like he promised. 90 something% of everything else needs to be repealed as planned. This is crucial and before his own party can get stubborn or notice any weaknesses he has as a politician, he will need to get moving quicker than usual on the 100 days by reaching out and getting drafts started and mini coalitions.
2. He has no choice but to learn how to Log Roll. It's the way our govt. works. If he wants some of these infrastructure projects to get rammed through, he will need to get whatever Rep (Dems too) in whatever state or districts, to be on board for bills related to new roads, water pipes, rail, etc. Thing is, others (in both parties) won't vote for it unless they can bring home the bacon for their district too. Lucky for Trump the whole country is in bad shape.
So get some promises going now before congress starts infighting too much. Start with Flint Michigan getting new water pipes, any House or Senator that will not vote yes can be publically shamed on TV with the kids in the background. The lead in their water is killing them and giving them brain disorders and ADHD. This will help fulfill black community promises he made as well.
3. Get whatever material from the Budget office he can so he can start figuring out what space is in the budget and what will be possible and what will not be.
4. For judicial appointments, get his short list to the Senate Majority leader ASAP. Schedule some short meetings to discuss strategy with him on getting those appointments vetted. Once they are ready, all they have to worry about is Democrat filibusters. Depending upon who it is, I don't expect a major fight right now, but you do not want them to suspend Senate business for points made above, over a court appointee getting filibustered over a week. If this is mishandled and takes too long, I cannot begin to tell you how bad that will be.
A majority does not always mean automatic. Liberal Democrats have zero class or respect and will use every trick in the book to delay anything at the expense of the country. Those from Blue strongholds will get away with it and face zero consequences from their voters.
5. He needs to ask Comey for his resignation letter as soon as possible after the oath ceremony. Under no circumstance should Comey be allowed to stay on. He is too unpredictable, possibly incompetent, and wishy-washy. Not worth the risks. If he is going to pick Gowdy for AG like the rumors say, he needs to refer to point 4 and get that going quickly. If he wants to appoint a special prosecutor, etc. via the House or his new AG, prep it now.
Don't discuss getting Hillary until your new people are in place first. That will be very important. Swamp draining talk should be more quiet now until everyone is in place. Once they are in place, give a bland statement when asked by the press, about how you have put some good folks in key positions to take care of it, and leave it at that. Don't screw up their investigation by giving Hillary's defense team ammo in court.
6. Don't be like Obama and be slow with cabinet appointees. Use the lull time to have that prepped as much as possible. He should even know who he wants to be his Cyber Security Czar, not just Homeland Sec. Dir. If they need to print out names with a profile and bios (with references) on a scrum board, do it. Any cutting edge techniques from private industry can be his edge on management style that can separate him from the career politicians that can never get stuff done right.
If he can squeeze all this in on the first 100 days, he will be good to go. You cannot do everything in the first 100. His tax bills will be long protracted fights, I guarantee it. That's not 100 days worthy. Most things will need to be done the old fashion way and wait. What any president doesn't need is to be trying to get appointments pushed through while budget and other huge serious bills are being pushed through. He will not want to see that gridlock. Nothing worse than telling folks in 2020, that you need to be re-elected again just so you can re-push the same bills again. The people gave him both houses in Congress. It would backfire intensely if this gets bungled.

Hillary being slow to speak and falling apart last night is because she knows her life is in danger. She really could go to jail or worse, prison. Maybe even die in there. Huma is young enough for a short stint, and would sing like a canary if it came down to it.
Remember she (allegedly) yelled at Donna Brazile and her staff after throwing a shot glass at a way, talking about how if Trump wins, they will all be swinging from nooses around their necks.
I don't feel sorry for her at all and she needs to pay for her crimes, so that no one else will ever try this again, but let's understand that this is not about being a sore loser. She was banking on winning to save her life. This is not a Cam Newton pout, although when she does speak, she will probably pout a bit.

Apologies if this is a dupe, but Trump narrowly won Michigan this morning. People here are sick and tired of the empty promises from Democrats while they continue to drive past boarded up factories, crime ridden neighborhoods, and deal with corrupt politicians. New York City decided to make a similar change after decades of Democratic control in the early 1990s and we saw what happened there.
Although we knew this after he won the Presidency, it's still significant: Trump managed to turn three reliably blue states (Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania) and turn them Red. We need to get greedy and do the same to California too in four years.
