If that is true, that is wild. I expect a lead on older folks in early voting just because many don't want to deal with day of lines or they may have a disability that would keep them from standing in a line, but that is really bad numbers wise. If the other states are anything like this, it won't matter how much black vote Trump has or doesn't have.

Hillary needs that youth vote almost to the level Obama had. This explains the modest lead he has on her in Florida right now.

Another issue that isn't talked about much is that if turnouts in general on the 8th are too large and the polls close and or some people give up, that will be a big deal in swing states. Surely older folks remember the last few and how long it took, but anyone waiting until the day of, may be pushing their luck. It might be much worse than last time. I recall several states where folks were still standing outside around 9pm.

Trump's campaign has been pushing early voting. They need to keep pressure on that and continue to push on that.

This is one report from Bloomberg (in the tank for Hillary) and doesn't match any other internal reports we have heard, nor what is going on with early voting right now (very positive trends for Trump). You seem very intent on gaslighting this thread with low-key negative Trump sentiments. Quit the concern trolling.

The quote is misleading. Are they talking about the results from Nate Silver's model and how it guessed correct the last two cycles? If so they they are indeed seeing good numbers as the quote continues on that Silver's model relies on public polls which this cycle have been trash.

If you take Silver's model and input more honest polls and samples then you would get a much better outcome for Trump.

Let us not forget how badly Silver's model botched the Primary. Shit in and you will get shit out.

Do these people realise how bad the optics are for their own cause? A massive crowd bullying a black, female homeless person, for supporting a political candidate they don't like (but which a potential majority of the population also supports)?

Honestly, I have plenty of engaging conversations with older liberals - most of them are good-natured people who at least believe in the values they're espousing, and one can relate to their motives. But it's painfully obvious that a non-negligible section of millennial liberals just want someone with perceived authority to give them permission to victimise people more politically and socially vulnerable than they are. They want an Emmanuel Goldstein at whom to direct their 2 Minutes Hate.

People with such passionately orthodox beliefs and vindictive personalities are entirely beyond my understanding. I simply cannot fathom what's going through their heads when they decide behaving like this is a good idea, or therapeutically rewarding in any way, but Aldous Huxley was clearly way ahead of his time:
